Dr Win is an exceptional doctor. The dedication he shows to his patient, is notable. I feel that he has always given me a voice as a mother. We work as a team to create the proper care plan for each child. My family has been a part of his practice for over 10 years, with four different children from infant to teenager. We Currently spend most of our time out of the state and I return for all our doctor's appointments. A defining moment for us was when I was alone with three kids and had an emergency. My 5 year old daughter couldn't breathe, she was fevering at 103.7, and throwing up while coughing. I called the on call Drs line to find out if I should go to Loudoun ER or drive to Fairfax children's. At 4 o'clock in the morning he answered his phone and directed me to childrens. He was awake, alert and full engaged. I received NO bill! He followed up first thing that day. He always allows up! Either with a phone call, at 7 o'clock at night, Saturday morning, or on his lunch break. The man doesn't forget and he makes the time. I know for a fact, he couldn't do this without the support of his wife Kai. They sacrifice a great deal of their personal time. As for the staff over the last 10 years; there have only been a few staffing changes. Regardless, the care and attention to who they hire is evident. Honestly, in my professional opinion. Dr win should become a concierge doctor, but obviously his heart isn't it for the money. He's the kind of doctor you pay out-of-pocket for on reserve and don't care if they take insurance, because you wont find better! 10 years ago I read that this man was the best in Herndon and Reston area on yelp. The bad reviews on here are just weird personal complaints. I have searched, and I have not found a better Dr in the state of Texas, North Carolina, California, or Virginia! You're lucky if you get the gift of having this man to care for your children. read more

Dr Quinn's practice needs help. We schedule a well visit as my daughter does not have a primary care doctor because we just moved to the area. I provided a copy of her insurance and immunization records and the person at the front desk ask if her last name was her last name. Like wth do you mean... all the documents say THE SAME NAME. She then proceeded to tell me i need to add his name as a primary care doctor on my insurance so they can be paid. Which I don't. My insurance doesn't require that and their practice can be paid as long as they bill my provider. We're then taken into a room that's dirty and the "nurse" as me if my daughter's eye is swollen. My daughter had nerve damage at birth and surgery to correct it. So no, she doesn't have a swollen eye because her eye lid is a tad bit droopy. She then asked why we were there. Wth! A well visit! She explained if I have any concerns about health issues other than a well visit I would be billed for a sick visit and they can not do a well visit. I said that doesn't even make sense. I can ask a doctor questions and he should be able to complete a well visit along with refilling a prescription or looking at a scratch. She then leaves us in the room to go check which takes another 10min. She comes back and moves us to a different room that is cleaner and says these rooms are for regular check ups! Some other nurse comes in to record weight, vision and hearing etc. and she doesn't know how to work the earring test tool nor does she know how to explain it. As of now, we have been in this office for an hour and still have not seen the doctor. I've been in way better doctor offices and dealt with more competent staffs. We will not be coming back here. Ever. Also, I DID NOT SEE ANYONE WASH THEIR HANDS, use hands sanitizer or WIPE THEIR MEDICAL EQUIPMENT OFF before using it. read more

I would love to comment on the service if service were in fact available. Our baby had a fall in the morning and we wanted to ask the doctor to take a look. No one answered the phone during a whole hour between 9 and 10 am and I had to find a different pediatrician. When I called again in the afternoon, someone answered the phone after a hold of 11 minutes. Apparently there is only one main number you can call and there is only one person who answers that phone. And she has no explanation as for why no one bothered to pick up the phone in the morning. I dont know how you can trust a pediatrician's office that is not there when you need them. I love Burma and really would love to support Dr. Win. But we are taking our child somewhere else. read more

I just visited this office on friday for the first time, the wait time was let than 5 minutes and the staff were really friendly. I went for many different reasons and questions. The doctor listen, checked my son, and then give me a diagnosis with details and answers for everything. He pulled out his phone and google stuff that he recommended and examples of what my son had. read more

Dr. Win is great. I do agree with some of the feedback on some of the staff. They seem a little discombobulated. Once you get pass them, Dr Win is a Win and seems to sincerely care about the children. I don't think I've ever been to any doctor's appointment where the front deskvstaff had it all together (which sucks). Very few greet you with a smile or a kind word. It's like they're sick of sick people. However and again, I like Dr. Win. He's attentive to my child and gives sound medical advice. I have been coming to this practice for almost 6 years now, since my daughter was 3 days old and I LOVE it. They used to have different pediatricians that were equally good and it has been maybe a couple of years now that they have Dr. Win. He is simply amazing, very knowledgeable amd he cares about my children, he does thorough exams, he personally calls you to follow up when your children are not feeling well. Now that I have a second baby, I feel he gives me extra attention he always asks how my daughter is doing with her brother, basically he takes extra step to make sure about the well being of his patients and that's very rare nowadays. I have many other friends that see him and they have the same experience. The staff is also very nice and they always try to give me appointments with a short notice. I've been taking my daughters to this practise for the last 2 years and overall I'm very happy. It's true that some of the people on the front desk aren't super nice, but they do a very good job at scheduling appointments and keeping you informed of things. The office was recently updated, it's very clean and colorful, with two separate entrances (sick visits and well visits). There's a play area for kids as well. They now open on saturday mornings, and until 6:30 pm on weekdays, which is great. There's 2 pediatricians and always availability. If they are busy but you need to be seen, they'll make room for you. Also, my daughter has had a couple of tests done there and I was notified promptly of the results by the pediatrician. read more

If you want your children in good hands please stay away. I have three children and have been going to this practice . Like the other reviews say, their front desk staff are horrible . There are some few hidden reviews for the practice so if you choose to read more then you will see those . This office isn't really the cleanest and the Dr is out quite a bit where he has a sub par substitute step in . My biggest problem is the front desk staff. Usually I interact with the younger staff but today it was the older woman named Kai. (She is actually dating the dr which is why she hasn't been fired and continues to treat patients like trash). I called to make an appt for my sick daughter who had a fever etc and I asked for 4:30 and Kai hung up the phone. I then called back and she picked up and I asked her why she hung up and she said she didn't that she only said ok see you at 4:30 and then hung up. I told her I definitely didn't hear that part and as a parent of a patient it really was concerning that she didn't ask my daughters symptoms . So I asked her if it was ok that I mentioned her symptoms and she said what is it? I then told her and there was a long pause for 10 seconds and she finally responded by saying "so?" And I couldn't believe it . She literally just said "so?" Concerning my daughters symptoms. I told her this was really offensive because I want the practice to show they care about my kids . She then kept talking over me like all the other reviews say and finally she said ok because you're complaining to me then we can't see you . I said excuse me? We want to see dr win . She then replied saying she didn't care and to "take the kid to an urgent care" I later called dr win and because he's in a relationship with her he has chosen to stand by what she says . I tried to get my Son's records since we moved. They were STILL keeping only paper records in 2013! They can't find his record and the woman I spoke with, Kai, on the phone was the rudest, most unprofessional person I've ever spoken with. She continually yelled and talked over me, was extremely condescending and even asked me to repeat and spell the email address as if I were ignorant. I will be contacting the doctors and superiors immediately. My Son's pediatrician in WA state has been trying to get ahold of his transcripts for 3 years now and they've never sent nor contacted them. The Doctor was great, his staff is terrible. read more

We have been visiting Dr Sethu Win for last 7 month for our little one ever since she was born at Reston Hospital. I just moved to Connecticut and thought its time to say thank you to Dr Win & Team. Here are some of the things that my wife and I liked about Elden Street Pediatrics and Dr Win: - Dr Win is a very good active listener (some of his favorite lines - can you start from beggining from the time you saw the symptom, What are the symptoms previous night) - very caring and a hard working man - no matter what time of the day you call him, he is always ready to hear the problems and help you ( we have called him at 5 in the morning to 12 midnight) - Quick to get an appointment (they are open even on Saturdays). Never had any issues with staff members. - So far we had never had a single billing issues even though we changed our insurance mid year. - As a first time parent he educated us on a lot of do and don't. We still follow some of his advice. - Interestingly ( and unlike some of pediatrician in Connecticut) he wouldn't prescribe till he is very very sure and doesn't just prescribe to calm down the panic parents. - Lastly, we felt very safe with Dr Win. I would strongly recommend Elden Street Ped to any one who is looking for special care for their loved ones. We still call Dr Win (after moving to CT) for his second opinion over the phone and he listens patiently & passionately without bothering about asking me for a copay. My boys have been coming to Elden Street Pediatrics since we moved to Herndon 18 years ago. We have always gotten excellent service. My youngest son that now is 16 has been seen by Dr Win for the last 4 years, and I'm very pleased with the care and advice he gives to him.
