They…read moremay be very polite and kind, but ultimately they are not interested in performing the services they claim to offer. I brought my car in on a Thursday with a flat tire, and they told me I needed a new rim. This had happened to another tire one month earlier, and it took about 2 hours to complete in Pennsylvania. Being in Maryland, I let them put the donut on my car and agreed to come back in when the rim arrived. After not hearing back from them, I called Friday afternoon. They told me they got the wrong rim, and it would be impossible to fix before the weekend. I wasn't happy, since that meant I had to stay in town several extra days, but I understand sometimes parts are delayed and we just have to be patient. They told me they'd call me Monday. Again I didn't hear from them, so I called them late Monday afternoon. They said they didn't know where the part was. Then they called back to say it was on the way, and they'd call me that evening. They didn't, so I called them back, afraid the shop would close without hearing back - the man working had no idea who the dealer was, where the part was, or what was going on. No one had left that information for him. So I would have to wait yet another night - and for personal reasons, this was a major inconvenience. Fed up, I went to them on Tuesday. They didn't know where the car part was. No clue. They said it might be on the way, and might get there by that afternoon - another whole day I would have to spend waiting, with no clarity or assurance about what would actually happen. I took matters into my own hands, and went to the junkyard they had ordered the part from, who also didn't know what was happening, though they found me a new rim and tire and had it put on my car immediately. So it took six days to achieve something that a phone call or two on Thursday morning could have accomplished. Everything my car needed was there, just 15 minutes away - but no one at BP Harpers Farm Car Center bothered to confirm or double-check anything. They called me later to tell me they had found some rims to match my car if I wanted to come over - of course I did not. I'm very upset that they were only interested in fixing my car after I had gone elsewhere. They had six days to make one or two calls and figure that out, but they couldn't be bothered. They couldn't be bothered to tell me what was going on earlier, either - if I had known it would take six days, I would have taken my car somewhere else that Thursday morning and gotten it fixed in an hour or two, which is ultimately about how long it took after I went elsewhere. I warn you - they can be very nice, and that's great, I'm sure they're swell fellows personally. I understand there are mix-ups, and delays - but this one was so absurd, and so lengthy, and so completely avoidable. When it comes to providing timely service and keeping on top of information, they're not really interested until you come back in to the store, face them down, explain how absurd the situation is, and that they've critically inconvenienced you. I'm lucky I was able to work things out, but you may not be. If I hadn't taken my business elsewhere, I might still be waiting.

The inspection price was quite reasonable and I was able to get both cars inspected in one day. While pitting my new tags on one of the cars, an Exxon employee was leaving for the day, but asked me if I needed assistance. Then, as I was completing the task, Mike was leaving for the day and also asked me if I needed any help. We chatted for a bit and he noticed that I had the incorrect plate on the front of the car and explained to me the rules in Maryland. Several days later, I was having an issue with my key fob battery. I happened to be passing by Exxon and stopped in to speak to Mike who tried a few things to see what the issue was and determined that the "new" battery that I had just replaced was not up to par. He swapped out the battery in my key fob, and I was happily on my way. It's so nice to find a place that really treats women with respect and courtesy. In the course of five visits every single person I have come into contact at this station with was so nice!

He checked around and the next day gave me some prices of places he had spoken to, including his own price and warranty. He was very honest with me in letting me know that for a little bit more money, I could get it done somewhere else and get a better warranty. I would definitely recommend them for their honesty.

My daughter was hit by a person who ran a red light. The police called M&K even though I have road…read moreside assistance. The vehicle was drivable just needed pulled off of the show. When M&K showed up and I asked them if they could tow it to my repair shop I was told that they would, for 350.00 cash no card only cash. I refused and M&K not only impounded my daughters car, they pulled it onto the bed of the tow truck while the car was still in park. This company seems predatory to ask a 17 year old for 350. cash on the side of the road. I would highly recommend using another tow company that does not damage vehicles and takes advantage of people.

You probably could've been a little smarter about it, but I have a tendency to trust people And we later found out halfway home that the air conditioner didn't work and it cost me $550 to get that fixed. When we took it for a test drive there was a noise coming from the wheels and Mike the salesman said that was just rust on the rotors and once it wore off that would be fine and that was another lie, Carr had something wrong with the ball joints and that was another $500 to fix that. The car had been inspected by somebody equally as crooked as they are and the tires were dry rotted and had to replace for another 500+ dollars altogether I spent over $1700 to get the car on the road because I have to have it inspected in another state. When I called GM automotive and spoke to Mike I asked her to send me a check only for the air conditioning considering that he lied about it and he suggested that I drive back two hours to Bel Air and have their guy look at it and I thought is there guy, the criminal that passed the inspection for them too and I told him no and asked him to simply send me a check and I sent him a copy of the invoice and he could speak to mechanic as well if he liked, but they refused and they're criminals and they don't deserve to have honest customers that's for sure. The classics are real cool. They have insight on problematic issues. They have a nice , courteous staff. Knowledgeable too. My grandmother took me there and told me whatever George tells you to just do it, cause he fixed her Subaru back in the early 80s in Perry Hall. My family have been using the shop since before I was bone. They will bring you back to the old days. The ones your grandfather told you about. When people worked until they got it done right. I like the signs in the office too..like call George if you're not satisfied. I will have to say - this is the place that you can trust for figuring out and fixing the quirks on your car.
