That only his banks wanted bank statements over pay stubs. He didn't even want a year to date statement. Like what? To continue, the price of the vehicles are INSANELY over priced. Anyone who does any research can see that. I looked at marketplace values, KBB values, Edmund's values, and more. Their prices were nearly TWICE the value of the actual vehicle. That is just mind blowing to me and he couldn't explain to me why the prices were so high for such old vehicles. These vehicles were 10 to 15 years old and they were asking $12k and UP. No. I could buy the same vehicle for maybe $3k to $5k anywhere else. Place is a rip off. Please. Do your research before you buy here! When I called David at Auto Leader he was borderline disinterested in the conversation at first not even acknowledging they made an error. (as if I wouuld call about this falsly out of the blue and as if I did not buy a car from him that was not cheap!) This made me annoyed. He then told me I needed to come in and they would try to fix it. I asked if he could come to my work place, 2 blocks from their shop, and he could fix it there. He refused and said he was trying to seve me time and aggravation over having to go to MVA for new stickers. His solution was in no way saving me time and aggravation already caused by the error, and in the future to get it fixed. His attitude was terrible- he accused me of "pointing fingrer". I would be VERY CAREFUL about doing business with this complany, especially if you want a company with customer services that stands behind their work.

Additional context (prior service): * The week prior, I had them work on two different vehicles. * One vehicle was repaired correctly. * The second vehicle only worked for a couple of hours before the issue returned. * I planned to have that second vehicle looked at again during this scheduled visit. * During that prior service: * The technician arrived approximately 3 hours late. * Even though they knew in advance they would be replacing an oxygen sensor, they did not bring the proper tools and had to leave to purchase the correct socket before completing the job. * No test drive was performed afterward to verify the repair. Key issue: This is not about job authorization. It is about: * Missed appointments * Lack of communication * No ability to reach a human representative * Inconsistent service execution and preparation Conclusion: If you rely on timely service, proper preparation, and the ability to communicate with a real person, this was not my experience. They call and tell me its failed inspection due to alignment and will need to pay $130 to fix it. Once again my first car, new driver, and also a young female I don't know what I'm dealing with but I did my research enough to know the alignment would have had to be pretty severe to fail inspection. Long story short, they lied my alignment was perfectly fine before going there and infact I NOW feel like its off since taking my car there and my breaks are also now squeaking when I reverse which never had that issue before. I spoke to Jeff, the owner, man in charge I guess? Not sure what kinda business he's running because it only took me a few interactions with the workers to realize it's a shit show. I was asking for an inspection report because all I was ever given was a receipt, he says it was sent to my email. It never was, so then I have my mother call as they aren't taking me seriously, talking to me like I'm dumb. Jeff quickly switches up the story again and he has no report or records from the work done on my car and that it was sent straight to the MVA. I'm sitting right next to her and I say "Hi Jeff. You said it was sent to my e-mail yesterday and it never was and now you dont have access to the records? I finally come in person and after way too long of back n forth they give me a checklist of what had been done after repeatedly asking and being told there's no records to give me. I purchased a vehicle from them and not even two weeks later the, "worn brake pads", and the check engine light came on. I took the vehicle back to the dealership and was told I had a 30 day warranty. I set up an appointment with there mechanic shop called Tire Pros in Frederick, MD to get the car fixed. Head mechanic Tom held my car for four days only to tell me he couldn't pinpoint the issue. I then took the car to get a diagnostic done and was told the problem. I shared the information with Tom, he assured me he would fix it and then he ghosted me. When I finally was able to speak with him days later he said I had no warranty. I called Hilo Auto, spoke with Mike the manager about the situation and nothin has been resolved. I've spoken to Mike on multiple occasions and he has not helped me. Worst dealership in Baltimore. STAY FAR AWAY!!
