We spoke to both the horse people and the owner of CDA adventures about getting a "rain check" and rescheduling. Both CDA Adventures and the horse people denied us. They wouldn't reschedule, refund nor partial refund. They gave no solutions, they just took our money. This was the supposed to be the first of many adventures we planned with CDA Adventures. But now we won't have any. Instead we've now removed "the middleman" and will be scheduling with these "adventure" companies directly.

I called them right away to sort this out and was told that they input our reservation incorrectly and that they do not have any boats available for the afternoon. Due to it being a mistake on their end, they offered to give us a discount if we reserve a boat for another day or morning. Unfortunately, we were unable to make that work due to other reservations we had the next day and then were heading home the next day after that. All of us, four adults and 6 kids, were really looking forward to boating on Coeur d'Alene lake. The other family we were with had also made arrangements to change campgrounds so we could be close to the boat dock. Moving a RV for one night isn't ideal, especially now that we don't have a boat. CD Boat Rentals didn't help us find another boat and, of course, every other boat rental I called that day was already booked. This was a huge disappointment to our trip and I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I rode up the river toward Post Falls, stopped to swim, and the jet ski ran perfectly the entire time. Craig was an excellent communicator from start to finish. He picked me up, brought me back to the island, got me completely set up, and made sure I felt comfortable before heading out. Safety was clearly important to him, and he knew where I planned to be and that I had my phone with me. The price was exactly what I expected, and honestly, he was more than fair. Everything was easy, professional, and enjoyable. I would absolutely rent from him again and highly recommend Jet Ski Island to anyone looking for a fun and stress-free day on the water.

Awesome Pontoon Lake Tripping, But Don't Forget The Sunscreen!…read more SITREP Harrison Pontoons is a great outfit in Harrison right on the major waterways of Coeur d'Alene Lake. The family got a pontoon for a four (4) hour block from 2pm to- 6pm for $300 (I should note that we actually had it for 5 hours, but they were courteous to people getting lost along the shoreline!) ;^D SETUP The boats - as far as boats are concerned - are very well-made, easy to drive, turn on a dime, have a very high clearance as they set up on the water that makes it easier for them to navigate through more shallow water. They are also incredibly fast and approach speeds easily of 40 knots per hour (KPH), roughly 43 miles per hour (MPH). Since we had my two (2) year old nephew Zygfryd (aka "Wiggly Ziggy") with us, there were items (ie. hats, bags of chips, wake boards, etc.) from inside the boat that "accidentally" found themselves in the water. The Pontoon easily spun around and allowed us to gather up the misplaced items. The pontoon also featured very convenient overhead covers to protect us from the sun. Still, I would highly recommend - as a sunburn survivor from a prior trip - to BRING YOUR SUNSCREEN! You will need it, believe me! THE LOWDOWN Pontooning on Coeur d'Alene is never more fun than with the right boat!

It is INCREDIBLE and well worth the 80 bucks that separates it from the standard Speedster. The Orange Crush is supercharged and will literally pin you to the seat at full throttle. If you are looking for an extreme experience give it a shot. The only drawback is that it will burn up the gas a bit faster. The rentals were affordable the the views on the water makes it worth it. We came with the intention to paddleboard but the water was a little choppy - in any case, even on a clear day, I'd recommend kayaking so you can go further out with more comfort. We caught the attendants making-out in the booth when we returned the kayaks - an added entertainment plus, I guess.
