Ask for David/Raven he is my tattoo artist! I've gotten tattooed here several times now. I got 1 flash piece done October 2022 I think, then I had a baby and couldn't get tattooed for a little bit. Now I've done 2 flash pieces in November 2024, my collarbone piece in December 2024, and then my Biomechanical organic half arm sleeve piece July 2025. My very first experience in this shop was amazing and very fun! Even for a small flash tattoo, the owner and artist Darnell of the shop were very knowledgeable and professional. My first time there was a busy popular day of Friday the 13th I think. Now even with that hustle and bustle of a waiting room full of clients, I remember Darnell making it a point to talk to each client and check in with them for the sign in process and letting people know how it was all going to work. I didn't get tattooed by Darnell though, it was another artist who doesn't tattoo in this shop anymore. My more recent experiences with my artist David have been phenomenal! The upfront professionalism when we met, while still having a fun vibe, made it a very easy and exciting process to add more art to my body. David has very light hands and works efficiently while tattooing me as a client, ensuring my comfort and checking in constantly. I noticed his high level commitment to cleanliness to make sure nothing is overlooked from start to finish in a tattoo appointment, which really showed how important it is to him. The healing process with each tattoo was a thorough conversation so you leave knowing exactly what you can and cannot do, and also being given step by step instructions on how to take care of the new ink properly. Ive had the second skin saniderm type of protection, and then recently tried the Ink Beetle protective gel. I haven't had any issues with my tattoos, they healed beautifully! I get so many compliments on my tattoos! I love the way my artist David is always looking to improve his work and the clients experience in the shop. I highly recommend him at this shop. read more

A friend and I went to get matching tattoos last night and it was so much fun! I lost my tattoo virginity and it was a great experience thanks to the artist Izzo. She knew it was my first time and she made us feel so comfortable and she was able to do the dainty and fine lined tattoos we wanted, which not every tattoo studio will do and it looked amazing!! ***Warning Long Review, but please read!*** Now, I wasn't going to do this because the young lady who pierced me on 1/2/23 was nice.... But now I have to share my experience. So I originally came here to buy a bigger stud for my nose ring. I walk in the lady was nice. She said she was the only piercer there and I sparked up a conversation about the tragus piercing. For a while, I wanted to get my tragus done. Our conversation was so good so I decided what the hell why not. I also wanted to pierce my lubes (second hole) I was so excited that I didn't even realize what I was getting myself into. Ok, so she's prepping me up, I'm laying down in the chair, and right before she starts to pierce my right tragus, she stabs herself with the needle...... I was too excited to realize that that was red flag number one! But get this... She takes surgical tape and wrapped it around her finger (which I can see some blood) and says, "It's no big deal. It happens. It's just annoying." Then puts two pairs of gloves on. Now I'm at a point to where I'm getting slightly concerned, but again, I was really wanting that tragus piercing... Which is why I'm mostly mad at myself... But, let me finish my story. I told this lady before I even sat in her chair that 1 my earlobes are thick, and 2 I have sensitive skin. Here we go. So she finally pierced my tragus and the need to goes through just fine. But then she tries to slide the jewelry and she is struggling hard to get the jewelry to fit. My pain tolerance is low but I didn't let it show. Then she figured she needed a longer needle and that she says my ear was already trying to close. Also, there is another young lady with red hair watching all of this. Meanwhile, the piercer seems to be a bit annoyed because someone (who was her regular it seems) was trying to buy more earrings. The piercer was trying to focus, but I believe she started to rush so she could attend to that regular (who was kinda rushing her). That was red flag number too! This lady is still struggling getting jewelry through my pierced tragus and I'm enduring pain and getting irritated! (but I wanted that piercing) Then she decides to say that she couldn't do it because my tragus was too small and that my body anatomy's not up for it!!! .......... WHAT?! So I went through all of that for nothing?!?!?! And now I gotta let it heal!...... But there's more! I am pissed, but I don't say anything because now she's piercing my loops, which went well... Or so I thought. I had to pay $75. $15 for the new nose rings I bought (which what I should have stuck to since that was my initial reason coming here) and $50 for the loop piercings. So I get home to start my healing and cleaning and realize as I'm looking in the bag of my jewelry, my original nose ring that I was wearing when walked in the store was not in the bag! That slightly made me upset, but I didn't think it was a big deal because I liked my new nose ring. I cleaned my fresh earlobe piercings, and noticed that they're starting to slightly keloid... But my earlobes keloid anyway from past experiences, so I'm thinking it's normal. A little dab of tree oil and some natural sea salt will do the trick for that. The next morning I get up, go to work, and mid shift I take a restroom break. As I'm washing my hands, and looking in the mirror, I realize that my right earlobe earring is gone! Now I'm like oh hell no!!!! I had both earrings in my ear when I walked in for work. I barely touched my ears, so why was that earring able to fall out my ear? Maybe because the earring that she used was too small for my thick earlobes that I told her about from the beginning! I had to put my hoop earring in that piercing to keep my ear from closing. So to wrap up this story, and my experience, I have now realized that this piercer was not only very careless with me, but in someways gaslighted me into thinking that it was my anatomy. I am a black woman. So my nose, my ears, and my earlobes are slightly different from whom she may be accustomed to piercing. As a professional you should know this and I thought she did... My mistake. Please don't let it be yours. I should have reviewed the reviews before letting her pierce anything. Had I've known with this place was really about (from reading the reviews) Then, I wouldn't have even stepped foot in it. I can promise you I will not make this mistake again!!! I've been wanting to leave a Yelp review to this place since it was first opened because that's when I immediately realized this was not a safe place at all to get any kind of body modification. I tried leaving a google review as soon as I left this shop THE FIRST DAY it opened and it got deleted, never posted. the owner Darnell is leaving childish unprofessional replies to anyone who leaves a negative review on Google, so that further made me want to leave one on Yelp specifically. Let me start by saying, in case the owner replies back to this in a childish manner by assuming i'm leaving a negative review on behalf of a former employee, NO! your former employees were also horrible, and let me get into that. So I live pretty close to this shop, when it first opened I was EXCITED to stop by and get a tattoo, they were free for the first day of their grand opening, that should've been the first red flag but I still decided to go. When I walked in it was EXTREMELY hot inside, humid, and overall just a really nasty feeling. Everyone (should) know when you walk into a tattoo shop it should smell like a hospital where it is completely clean and sterilized, not like musty humid teenagers. No one greeted me or my sister who came with me. No one told us anything to do, the process, the wait, asked what we were looking for, NOTHING. There was just a bunch of teenagers sitting around. The teenagers weren't a surprise because the artists, or should I say FIRST DAY APPRENTICES, were teenagers themselves. Well this shop owner had all his apprentices (I think there was 2-3 at the time?) working on their OWN, with no one supervising them. They were extremely unprofessional, I watched them "sanitize" disgracefully in between customers and not even know how to proceed on tattooing certain body parts. The owner not once guiding them or correcting them. He was too busy flirting with the teenagers up front. Yes he's a grown man. Oh yeah, throughout all this time, still we were not acknowledged. On the front counter they just had pieces of papers with the form to fill out and what I assume was their definition of "after care instructions", you were just supposed grab a paper, and sit and wait until it was your turn before anyone said a word to you. In the 30+ minutes my sister and I were sitting there we sat and watched how poorly everything was being done, we sat and watched one of the apprentices get a dirty table off the floor and sit a customer on it and do their tattoo without cleaning the nasty table she had just gotten OFF THE FLOOR. my jaw dropped and I immediately walked out. Yeah they were free for a reason. I looked at @electric cat tattoos instagram page later that night to see how their first day went, I saw the posted pictures of the tattoos they did that first day, and I had to laugh. Both the apprentices AND owners tattoos were, im sorry but horrendous. Extremely crooked and uneven lines, sloppy flashes, just overall horrible work. I was extremely grateful I did not get anything on on my body that night from this place. I was still following this page for a few days because I knew someone who was going regularly there, and I was seeing how the local business was holding up. Then I saw the apprentice who used a dirty table off the floor to tattoo opened up HER OWN SHOP. My jaw dropped once again. She wasn't even an apprentice for less than a couple weeks and she was already opening up her own shop. Now guessing from the google reviews it has to do with the owner being a creep with, yes that some owner who was busy flirting with teenagers on the first day I came instead of guiding his apprentices. This further proves the apprentices at this shop are being taught NOTHING, because who in their right mind opens up their own tattoo shop when she has no experience herself in the industry but for a couple of weeks?? If you want to see what kind of owner is running this shop, just look at his replies to the negative google reviews and see for yourself how he is replying to others. Or just look at how many people have gotten infected piercings and tattoos from here, or the disgusting body shaming remarks he makes to the clients while he is working on them. A tattoo shop should be a SAFE place where you feel welcome, not rushed, a place that should be thoroughly sanitized and kept uncluttered, a place where the owner is not messaging minors on social media asking them to hook up, or making fun of you for a tear coming out of your eye during a nose piercing which is a reflex reaction. read more

If you're thinking about getting a tattoo and or piercing from the shop, run run as fast as you can. Do your research and ask questions to their piercer on where their license is and what their protocol is. I had the unfortunate privilege of being pierced unsuccessfully not once, but twice in my septum, because the piercer did not know what she was doing and attempted to free hand with no tongs to assist her. (I was thinking she knows what she is doing but that wasn't the case) she attempted to "fix it by pulling out the piercing rod and doing it again with the tongs--which she didn't use at first. When the jewelry wouldn't go in the second time she was forcing it to go through on the other end and blood all over her gloves before my husband made her stop and remove everything. We didn't pay for anything except the atm fee that was charged because they don't take card. So technically payed $3 for someone to play with a needle in my Nose. Needless to say the owner was less than understanding about the fact HE WASN'T PRESENT WITH HIS 4hr trained piercer who wasn't even supervised while doing this to my face not once but twice. Not only did he NOT want the conversation recorded for his and I safety just he told me I would be fine and that if this is about my "feelings" I wasn't charged and she's "almost done training" and where I was getting my information from about her needing to be watched with no license. needless to say that's besides the point sir!! but it is what it is. He offered tattoos and to re do it himself but I declined . Not after that I don't trust anyone in there to touch me. Take this warning and the warning of the first review like I wish I would've seen. You've been warned ( and now I have to nurse my nose to heal in order to get it pierced somewhere way more professional) I have a video which I was just doing for my own content and will be taking it in to see if this was protocol for someone being trained. Came in for a septum piercing. Hit cartalidge and placed it crooked. Called to come in and get a refund as well as take it out. The "Owner" had a stick up his a** and told me he wouldn't refund my money (80 dollars btw!) . Told me that they probably hit a nerve ending. And that I should just get a different type of piercing instead. He told me he wouldn't refund my money but he'd give me a different one. Like I'd do that after you f*cked it up the first time. Tells me that I need to "just take it out" they hit cartalidge so it literally feels like I get stabbed in the face when I move it. I say well then can you just take it out because it hurts like a mf. "Yeah let's do it rn" throws his gloves on with a pissy fit and then rips the piercing out.then asks me if I was the one who left a crappy 1 star review! I told him yeah It was me and yeah it's 1 start quality. I paid 80$. You botched my mf nose. Hit cartalidge. And now you won't refund me?! I spat on the ground on the way out. Trashiest shop I've ever walked into. Highly DONT Recommend. Place shouldn't even be f*cking open!!! read more

People here are great not only did they stay open to pierce my friend ( difficult piercings ) but also struck up a convo and I ended getting my first tattoo ever here . The owner was a champ and his piercer literally had people satisfied and she did like 6 piercings when I was there I'd what these 1 star reviews are about but as far as I'm concerned this place truly deserves a 5/5 read more
