After procrastinating for nearly a decade, I finally pulled the trigger to get a Detroit-themed tattoo sleeve done. It took me awhile to figure out exactly what I wanted to do, but there is one thing I knew all along--I wanted Elijah to do the work. He is an amazing artist and I have followed his social media for years. It was very convenient that right when I was finally ready to get started, he had just opened Revolt Tattoo in my "backyard" at The Woodlands Mall. It is still a work in progress, but everyone is blown away by the work he has done so far. The whole shop is awesome. The location is great and the shop itself is clean and cutting edge. There are tablets set up to browse through the portfolios of the different artists and get a sense of their work, and the staff and the other artists are all very helpful and welcoming to people who stop in. Aaron Powers did my medusa piercing last week and he was absolutely stellar. He explained every part of the piercing process thoroughly beforehand and as he worked, he was meticulous and cleanly and it was very clear that he is well informed and genuinely cares about his work. He gave me clear and detailed guidance on how to care for it afterward and what to do were it to swell, as well as sending me with a longer backing in case it were to swell afterward, if I needed to get it swapped out. There was no swelling and no issues with the piercing, it's healing splendidly, but were I to encounter any issues, I'd gladly be making the drive back to the Woodlands to see him again. If I get any further piercings in East TX, I know exactly where I'll be going. The music he had going was also great, that may not matter to some but it's definitely a green flag in my book. I got a second lobe piercing and a nostril piercing about 2 months ago-- it's taken me some time to write this review! Aaron was obviously incredibly experienced, and took a lot of care and time measuring and planning the locations of my piercings, making sure they would work with different types of jewelry. I have a bit of a fear of needles, and he was very careful in making sure that I was comfortable before going through with the actual piercing. Every piece of equipment was carefully sterilized, and he even went through explaining the sterilization process. He was also very friendly and chill, which made the experience even better. I would 110% go back for any other piercings I want in the future, and also COMPLETELY recommend him to anyone looking to get a piercing (Especially if you're afraid of needles)!! read more

I wish I could give more than 5 stars- this is the absolute best place to get pierced in Houston. Hands down. I've gotten pierced here 5 times, I'm going back for a 6th tomorrow. The staff are all SO respectful and friendly. Go get pierced by Aaron y'all, he's amazing. Aaron will walk you through the entire process, so you feel comfortable and at ease. He explains how to clean and take care of the piercings, when it's safe to switch out the jewelry, what material the jewelry is made out of (great if you have any sensitivity), and what to expect afterwards. This was my first time getting pierced as an adult and I was so nervous but Aaron and the rest of the staff were totally amazing! Aaron made the experience totally comfortable and took his time explaining the process and making me feel at ease. I was only adding a piercing on each earlobe but I was so nervous. He patiently walked me through every step and was so thorough while measuring the placement of the piercing. After the first piercing, he made sure I was comfortable and wanted to continue before he started on the second one. You can tell he really cares about his clients! I have never been here until a good friend of mine recommended it. She ended up needing to get her tattoo fixed up so I tagged along to check the place out. the scenery of the inside is absolutely stunning, the halloween decorations are awesome, even little kids comment on them! I would like to personally make a shout out to Elijah. I have a decently small tattoo on my right arm of a cat on the moon, when I originally got it done over a year ago, it got infected and the tail didn't heal right, it was basically white. I took my little sister to get her nose pierced here (mom consented and was there) and I was honestly left speechless at Aaron's piercing service. I've gone through my fair share of piercers and I've never met someone like Aaron. He cares, takes pride in his work, and his years of experience show. He was very attentive, explained the piercing, healing, and cleaning process to her in detail, adjusted his placement to both of their liking and was personable. Brought my 13 year old daughter in for an upper lobe piercing for her birthday. We had the pleasure of having Elijah as our piercer. For starters, the shop itself is very clean and the staff was extremely friendly and inviting. I had my nose pierced at another shop and did not get the same welcoming experience. Elijah was so patient with my young daughter and made her feel so comfortable and confident about her piercing placement prior to the procedure. i absolutely love coming here, all of the staff are always so sweet and make me feel so welcomed and relaxed (even though i was so nervous this was my first tattoo!!) This is my phoenix tattoo that I had done by Elijah about 2 months ago. I threw everything at him and he incorporated everything into this amazing tattoo that I asked for and then some. It represents my family so beautifully and everyone just loves it. I got a tattoo from Revolt about a week or so ago, a walk- in tattoo before my flight back to the UK and i'm so glad I came here! A really laid back, cool atmosphere and good price for the quality (All tattoos start at $100 just to note). Very clean and friendly staff. Extremely helpful and patient. I got my tattoo done by DANNY DAVINCI. Absolutely amazing work, personable, and spoke with me about future work I want to get finished. The temperature inside the shop was comfortable and I was so amazed on the customer service level. Teaching me about aftercare and just overall making sure their clients are comfortable. I got my ears pierced for the first time here Aaron helped me out and he was really great. They used a needle instead of a gun, were very clean and careful about everything, and were very cool about my fear of needles. Its been about a day, and already I can tell they're gonna heal up nice and clean. There was no pain after the first hour. And the redness was gone soon after.
