First time visiting this place to change scenery during studying. Coffee was ok, not great. The beans have a slight bitter taste to them. The environment is cute and lots of different areas for patrons to hang out drinking coffee. I ended up leaving before I was planning on because of the construction noise outside. I know they don't have control over the construction taking place outside, but they do have control over opening up their big garage door that was actually blocking a significant amount of the noise. Once that garage door was opened, the noise was unbeatable. I don't think I will return based on my experience. read more

I had the breakfast burrito which was fantastic! This is offered in a bowl or taco as well. Staff was friendly and laid back. It was my first time visiting and had to take several minutes to read the menu. The front guy was welcoming and stepped back and let me take my time and space with the menu. I appreciated that so much. I got a cold brew and an order of churros. They were absolutely delicious. Adorable inside with a really sweet staff. The menu is definitely unique. I ordered the baked eggs and they were really good. Nice and spicy with lots of great flavor. My latte was excellent but definitely not hot so I don't know if that is the norm but you might want to think about ordering extra hot if their stuff comes out like that normally. This is so much more than a place to just get coffee. They have a great lunch menu, a nice selection of pastries, and make great espresso drinks. The cafe is filled with great natural light, extremely spacious, and cutely decorated. The staff was very friendly. I highly recommend it. read more

We are so impressed with this place. We are staying in Puyallup and couldn't find any good quality shops to go too. Then we decided to drive further to the Electric Coffee House. Such a good idea!!!! First off, the coffee is amazing. Not your typically gross dark roast blends, but quality. I ended up buying 2 light roast americanos. They get there coffee from a coffee shop in Portland called, Proud Mary. Secondly, we were blown away by the food!! I got the zing bowl with chicken and my husband got The Wake Up call. AMAZING. The sauce is made in house and all fresh ingredients. Seriously impressed. The baristas were so kind and helpful. Cute atmosphere as well. What a find in downtown Sumner. We went here with zero expectations and found a cute main street endcapped by this awesome coffee shop. We stopped in and ended up getting coffee and lunch. They served a perfect macchiato with a side of sparkling water, and had an almost 100% vegetarian menu for lunch. It leans Mexican, and we got two of the bowls. They were delicious, hearty, and reasonably priced. Great service and ambiance topped off our visit. If you need to get some work done, or just want to meet up with friends, this is a great spot to do it. read more

We travel full time and work out of coffee shops. We've been to 20 states and this shop was our favorite to work in that we've been to! The WiFi is fast. Outlets are available next to most seats and they have great tables to work at. Lots of seating to choose from with natural light and a beautiful aesthetic. The mocha was perfect and not too sweet. It's cute in here and staff is friendly and coffee is good enough and it's relatively clean so I really don't think a food review matters- but I leave one regardless! - Espresso lemonade: Is this a European thing? Not a fan, pretty much tastes exactly what you'd expect it to taste like so it's weird to my palate - but maybe if you're used to citrus water + coffee you'd love it? I couldn't tell - Espresso tonic: Good tonic! I had to ask for it sweetened with simple syrup because I like sweet coffee and I could taste a bit of sourness in the espresso (but I'm being picky) - Churros: Great! Who doesn't love crispy churros with a creamy inside dipped in hazelnut chocolate - Wake Up Call Bowl: Good enough- if you want a breakfast bowl that tastes decent enough this is a good pick, but after a bit it gets pretty soggy and the watery texture is unpleasant, and I wished the potatoes were crispy. I couldn't finish the bowl for that but enjoyed it for the first half! Overall I'd visit again if in the area because it stands out as such a cute place. They have a small outdoor section with a few chairs to enjoy the sun. A few people studying since it's not loud, plus the bathrooms are decent. read more

This cafe is so aesthetic! I love the design and vibe inside. On a sunny day like I went, they leave their doors open which allows for fresh air to come in. Their coffee was absolutely refreshing and delicious. Went perfectly with the churros dipped in hazelnut chocolate sauce. My husband and I came across this place back in October before they'd officially opened! We managed a date night there in December and love the adorable little "booths" you can sit in. Unfortunately with three kids, getting weekday dates is a pain in the rear so we haven't managed to go back together! However, one of my clients mentioned they wanted a coffee themed engagement session. They know one of the managers of Electric Coffee House so we headed down that way instead of choosing another coffee shop. The gals were super helpful, and even let us choose which cups they'd put our drinks. The whole atmosphere is super swanky and the drinks are delicious. I love how creative the baristas get with their awesome coffee art. I'll definitely be visiting again! read more

But here is one place you can rely on. No I didn't get some Carmel frappy thing or a white mocha with sheep's milk whipped cream. I ordered coffee like a cortado, some drip, pour over. No pumps of nothing. Did it taste burnt: no. Did they have some nice bean selections for pour over options: yes. Can you enjoy your coffee while getting some work done. Yup. Uploaded 5gb of video here in under 30 minutes. That's a record for coffee shops I've been to. So yeah. If you want coffee this place has some. Come and get it. read more

New, fun place to hang out in Sumner. Bright and sunny. Train drives by occasionally and gives it a little rumble which adds to the ambiance. Lots of laughs and good conversation. Not overly quiet. Teens love the "electric" sign hanging above the couch for instagram pictures. Now, the coffee and tea they serve is not for me. I was disappointed in there limited tea variety. And my daughters did not think the coffee tasted good either. read more

This is by far one of my favorite coffee houses in all of the PNW! I initially came here for a meeting with my boss and order a brown sugar oat milk latte, which was delicious. They also carry Dudes Donuts which are vegan and gluten free but oh so good (highly recommend the churro donut) read more

Aesthetically pleasing. Clean, bright, simple but cute with exposed steel beams, & greenery dispersed throughout the cafe. I really like the yellow accent color to this place, adds to the happy vibe! This will be a new hangout spot for me. The coffee was good, and customer service was great I changed my mind last minute (hot vs cold coffee) and owner was so nice about it and changed it willingly. I hear that this place will also be selling tacos soon! First coffee shop I see that has that unusual combo but looking forward to it. Got to peek at the menu and they will even have shrimp tacos a bit pricy ($3 each) but we will see how good they are, also sell jarritos!
