Visited on a weekday afternoon for lunch and a little treat for myself and enjoyed my time on a sunny afternoon. Ordered the Burrata Toast with a Raspberry Espresso Martini. Didnt taste much of the raspberry but it wasnt overly strong and it was a good mix of coffee and alcohol. The Burrata Toast was a bit too sour to my liking, but appreciated the generous condiments on the toast. Parking situation is street parking. The further out you are from the main area of downtown Sumner, you will likely find more parking. It was easy to find a spot just two cars away from the entrance. Plus, people from what I see tend to just spend about an hour or two then leave. Overall, I recommend! They have pretty good food and drinks, alcohol and nonalcohol. Definitely will come back again.

The service was great, the staff were attentive from welcoming us in upon arrival to saying "thank you for coming in", which I appreciate. The burrata toast was really good but it was a bit pricey for $17. The coffee was okay, but not my favorite. My friend ordered the tacos and they were really good and a good price for value.

This cafe is such a gem in a secluded little town of Sumner. Service was good and there was ample space, but not so much sitting space compared to other cafes. The ambience looks so bright and lively with all of the natural sunlight that comes in. We ordered the vanilla and raspberry latte for drinks, and the zing bowl and avocado toast for food. All meals were pretty tasty with good portions.

Electric Coffee House made me a oat milk caramel latte and it was one of the best lattes I've ever had! I was never more excited to step into a place first thing in the morning and Electric Coffee House really did that for me. I've been waiting to go here since forever and the coffee, the wonderful decor, the quiet ambiance, and the kind people for service really made a big impact on the way I have coffee now. Thank you, Electric Coffee House. The latte was truly one of the best lattes I've had in a while. See you again soon. :)

We have been to this coffee house multiple times, it's always bustling and putting off good coffee house vibes. We stopped in today for some coffees before walking around downtown Sumner, the flavors that are present in these coffees are more pronounced than in a similar chain coffee establishments drinks. We sat down on the couch and were able to relax while enjoying our drinks, browse the magazines, and people watch too. Definitely recommend to anyone who is curious

Service was very friendly, and the space was... spacious lol I was excited to see they had mimosa flights but wasn't a fan of the flavors. Surprisingly I liked blueberry the most which I didn't think I was going to like. The other two flavors were pineapple and mango. Vanilla latte was super tasty! We also ordered some small bites: street tacos & avocado toast. I had asked for egg whites only on my toast and they were able to accommodate that. I wasn't super impressed by the food but I'll have to come back and try other options like their burrito or quesadillas. We must have come after a huge rush because majority of the tables were taken and the ones that were open were still a bit dirty and needed a wipe down. Highlights: great service, amazing vanilla lattes, and plenty of space! I do plan to come back and try other menu options.

Electric Coffee House is an adorable little shop in downtown Sumner - it's the perfect place to stop for lunch or a pick-me-up when doing some shopping at all the shops in the area! The one thing I'd note is that parking can be kind of challenging, especially on busy days. There's a fair amount of construction/road work going on in the area so the street parking is hard to navigate, and the few lots around are usually packed. The coffee shop is spacious, bright, and very open. Plenty of spaces to sit and work or meet up with a friend. Service is also super kind. I got an iced lavender latte, Samoa Donut, and a quesadilla. A pregnancy combo at it's finest. The iced lavender latte was delicious and I always appreciate a coffee shop that has lavender as an option, as it's one of my favorite flavors. The Samoa Donut was sourced from an outside business but being sold at ECH, and it was just okay. It was pretty dry, but I still ate a good amount of it. The quesadilla was really good - would be a great hangover cure, because it was nice and greasy. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area to try other options! They also have cocktails and mimosa flights, so you already know that's on my list...

Stopped by on a hot summer today for some matcha and it did not disappoint. The ambience is clean casual fun. Their cookie was was bomb.com so good I almost wanted to get a second but stopped myself coz didn't want to ruin all my hard work in the gym. The service is friendly and warm. I will definitely be back for the matcha and to try some of their brunch and pastry items sometime soon It's also in downtown Sumner so nice area to just walk around sipping a beverage and checking out vintage stores when the weather is nice

This is my second time experiencing this. Each time it's the same exact employee. Why am I paying $9 for a cup of matcha flavored milk...

Great place! Pros: Awesome decor and ambience with the large doors that open to the street on a nice day. Drinks & service are great! I did not try any food but everything that I saw people eat, they looked happy! Cons: Would not recommend for studying / school work without loud headphones as the train passes very frequently about 300 ft from the building. Tolerable if you're just there to have a drink and chill.

I don't make it over to Sumner much even though it isn't very far from Tacoma. We did have Electric Coffee House down on our list and stopped by here before we started walking on the Foothills Trail near Orting. We were hungry and were ready for something to drink even though we haven't even hit the trail yet. I am glad we did though because it turned out to be a long urban hike. The coffee place is very popular and lots of customers come in at the counter and use the drive up as well. They were understaffed for the amount of customers they had so wait times for the front counter and the food were noticeable and they kept acknowledging our wait which was very good of them as it feeled like they cared about everyone rather than being ignored. But the wait for the food made sense after getting it because it was a few notches above your typical coffee shops and I was impressed! For what we got on our order was a quesadilla and crispy tofu. I got the quesadilla which was so good and Steve's tofu was good as well. I haven't had an Italian Soda in ages and got a strawberry flavored one which was very good! Good experience with this coffee shop and worthy of a return and the wait is worth it as the food and beverages are good! One other note we went here on 5/12/23 and a lot of the roads downtown were torn up for what looks like a lengthy construction project. So you will definitely need to park on side streets and a few of those are torn up too. The walk to the coffee shop isn't bad but just be careful not to trip over some of the work going on there. Parking isn't too bad either as you can still park relatively close to the main drag that is experiencing road work. Sumner isn't as congested or as busy as other nearby cities and towns which is a big help when it comes to parking close by to places you want to go to.

Best little coffee stop in Sumner. Interesting coffee and booze mix; flights and food.

They catered our work breakfast and their wake up call tacos were delicious! Fluffy eggs with little golden potatoes, bell pepper and a little kick from the chipotle sauce. It was all fresh and tasty. I enjoyed their latte with oat milk as well. Can't wait to try other dishes! read more

For the work from home crowd looking for a change of scenery during the day, look no further! Electric was a sheik modern layout offering great breakfast options. I had the breakfast burrito which was fantastic! This is offered in a bowl or taco as well. More coffee shops need to be aware of the volume of music not being obnoxious and electric had it at the perfect volume. I 100% will be back. read more

This is so much more than a place to just get coffee. They have a great lunch menu, a nice selection of pastries, and make great espresso drinks. The cafe is filled with great natural light, extremely spacious, and cutely decorated. The staff was very friendly. I highly recommend it. read more

Adorable inside with a really sweet staff. The menu is definitely unique. I ordered the baked eggs and they were really good. Nice and spicy with lots of great flavor. My latte was excellent but definitely not hot so I don't know if that is the norm but you might want to think about ordering extra hot if their stuff comes out like that normally. Overall, highly recommend! read more

Wide, airy interior with tasteful decor, electric coffee house is a beautiful space to get some work done or chat with a friend. We were visiting from out of town and thought we'd try a new coffee place each morning. Instead we came to Electric for our fix for three-days straight. Great coffee - we took several bags of beans home. Baristas were all friendly and helpful. And great vibe - I can imagine it being a great place to study and hang with friends! read more

It's cute in here and staff is friendly and coffee is good enough and it's relatively clean so I really don't think a food review matters- but I leave one regardless! - Espresso lemonade: Is this a European thing? Not a fan, pretty much tastes exactly what you'd expect it to taste like so it's weird to my palate - but maybe if you're used to citrus water + coffee you'd love it? I couldn't tell - Espresso tonic: Good tonic! I had to ask for it sweetened with simple syrup because I like sweet coffee and I could taste a bit of sourness in the espresso (but I'm being picky) - Churros: Great! Who doesn't love crispy churros with a creamy inside dipped in hazelnut chocolate - Wake Up Call Bowl: Good enough- if you want a breakfast bowl that tastes decent enough this is a good pick, but after a bit it gets pretty soggy and the watery texture is unpleasant, and I wished the potatoes were crispy. I couldn't finish the bowl for that but enjoyed it for the first half! Overall I'd visit again if in the area because it stands out as such a cute place. They have a small outdoor section with a few chairs to enjoy the sun. A few people studying since it's not loud, plus the bathrooms are decent. read more

We are so impressed with this place. We are staying in Puyallup and couldn't find any good quality shops to go too. Then we decided to drive further to the Electric Coffee House. Such a good idea!!!! First off, the coffee is amazing. Not your typically gross dark roast blends, but quality. I ended up buying 2 light roast americanos. They get there coffee from a coffee shop in Portland called, Proud Mary. Secondly, we were blown away by the food!! I got the zing bowl with chicken and my husband got The Wake Up call. AMAZING. The sauce is made in house and all fresh ingredients. Seriously impressed. The baristas were so kind and helpful. Cute atmosphere as well. Definitely going to be our new place to stop when in the area! read more

What a find in downtown Sumner. We went here with zero expectations and found a cute main street endcapped by this awesome coffee shop. We stopped in and ended up getting coffee and lunch. They served a perfect macchiato with a side of sparkling water, and had an almost 100% vegetarian menu for lunch. It leans Mexican, and we got two of the bowls. They were delicious, hearty, and reasonably priced. Great service and ambiance topped off our visit. If you need to get some work done, or just want to meet up with friends, this is a great spot to do it. read more

We travel full time and work out of coffee shops. We've been to 20 states and this shop was our favorite to work in that we've been to! The WiFi is fast. Outlets are available next to most seats and they have great tables to work at. Lots of seating to choose from with natural light and a beautiful aesthetic. The mocha was perfect and not too sweet. This cafe is so aesthetic! I love the design and vibe inside. On a sunny day like I went, they leave their doors open which allows for fresh air to come in. Their coffee was absolutely refreshing and delicious. Went perfectly with the churros dipped in hazelnut chocolate sauce. My husband and I came across this place back in October before they'd officially opened! We managed a date night there in December and love the adorable little "booths" you can sit in. Unfortunately with three kids, getting weekday dates is a pain in the rear so we haven't managed to go back together! However, one of my clients mentioned they wanted a coffee themed engagement session. They know one of the managers of Electric Coffee House so we headed down that way instead of choosing another coffee shop. The gals were super helpful, and even let us choose which cups they'd put our drinks. The whole atmosphere is super swanky and the drinks are delicious. I love how creative the baristas get with their awesome coffee art. I'll definitely be visiting again! read more

Excellent. Real coffee. Blazing fast WiFi. Nice folk. Seats inside. Lots of space. This would be my spot if I was local. It's been surprisingly hard to find decent coffee in the south Seattle area. But here is one place you can rely on. No I didn't get some Carmel frappy thing or a white mocha with sheep's milk whipped cream. I ordered coffee like a cortado, some drip, pour over. No pumps of nothing. Did it taste burnt: no. Did they have some nice bean selections for pour over options: yes. Can you enjoy your coffee while getting some work done. Yup. Uploaded 5gb of video here in under 30 minutes. That's a record for coffee shops I've been to. So yeah. If you want coffee this place has some. Come and get it. read more

Who would have thought coffee and tacos went so well together? Nice to have a unique option at a coffee shop compared to the pre wrapped crap and pastry only snacks majority of other shops offer. Delicious coffee, delicious food, and a vibe that offers something unique and different. Love how CLEAN the place feels. Sumner needed this. This town has enough antique shops. read more

Great vegan food options, lovely vibes, friendly service. I had the vegan chickpea burrito, and my wife had the tacos. The chips and creamy corn dip was a nice side to share. And we topped off the feast with a couple of Dudes Donuts (also vegan) with some coffee. Fantastic! read more

If a buzzed girl is at the register I hope you know what you're getting because she doesn't have much patience. The coffee was okay, I'd recommend the wake me up burrito. They have plenty of seats inside so that was nice. A sofa, few soft chairs. read more

Got a iced vanilla oat milk latte and it was so delicious! Plus the ice was the smaller crushed type, which is always a nice surprise! The ambiance was bright and fun! Good music playing! Staff was friendly! And plenty of room to maintain social distancing! My friends ordered food as well and really enjoyed the taco + burrito! It is on the pricier side so if you want a coffee for 4-5$ this is prob not the place. Plenty of street parking so very convenient to go in n out! read more

Wasn't too impressed with this spot. To be fair, I only had their iced mocha with oat milk, so maybe their food dishes are better! My coffee was bitter and definitely not one of my favorites. Still a very cute spot in a convenient location that's perfect for chatting with friends or getting some laptop work done. read more

The overall look of the shop is really beautiful, their Layout is stunning! I ordered a London fog sweetened with honey which was pretty good. But, despite all that the customer service wasn't the best and I felt like the employees were just gossiping with one another the whole time. It was a little distracting. read more

First timer, and I like this place a lot! So happy to have a cool coffee shop that's local. Ordered a London Fog even though it wasn't on the menu, and it was one of the best I've ever had! This coffee shop has a LOT of seating which is a plus- several tables, a couch, cozy chairs and little nooks. I've also heard good things about the coffee beans they use and that their tacos are really good, so there's two more reasons I gotta come back. read more

This is by far one of my favorite coffee houses in all of the PNW! I initially came here for a meeting with my boss and order a brown sugar oat milk latte, which was delicious. They also carry Dudes Donuts which are vegan and gluten free but oh so good (highly recommend the churro donut) read more

just like the name of the house, I feel a surge of energy when I first step in the place. The open space with plenty of seats and different vibes; so many plants, and the accent of yellow is just so exciting . I'm thrilled to have a cafe house that I can sit and enjoy my coffee along with the aesthetics surrounding. I would come here quite often if I don't live so far away. read more

New, fun place to hang out in Sumner. Bright and sunny. Train drives by occasionally and gives it a little rumble which adds to the ambiance. Lots of laughs and good conversation. Not overly quiet. Teens love the "electric" sign hanging above the couch for instagram pictures. Now, the coffee and tea they serve is not for me. I was disappointed in there limited tea variety. And my daughters did not think the coffee tasted good either. read more

Aesthetically pleasing. Clean, bright, simple but cute with exposed steel beams, & greenery dispersed throughout the cafe. I really like the yellow accent color to this place, adds to the happy vibe! This will be a new hangout spot for me. The coffee was good, and customer service was great I changed my mind last minute (hot vs cold coffee) and owner was so nice about it and changed it willingly. I hear that this place will also be selling tacos soon! First coffee shop I see that has that unusual combo but looking forward to it. Got to peek at the menu and they will even have shrimp tacos a bit pricy ($3 each) but we will see how good they are, also sell jarritos! I came on a Friday afternoon and was a bit empty but they also are new in town. Completely recommended! read more

Food was good. But mocha coffee was served barely Luke warm. Unfortunately, I asked her to microwave it to warm it up. She said leave it on the counter. And I went to bathroom and still not there. Cute coffee shop in downtown sumner. Staff is always really nice. It's a great place to get work done or meet up with a friend and have coffee.Their churros are really good they come with Nutella on the side. read more

A quick search found Fika, very promising ratings and I'm partial to Swedish baked goods since I spend time in Sweden every year. Fika is located inside Farm12, a huge complex that even contains a school so, why not a coffee shop? When I arrived, the line was a good 30 feet out the door. Even more promising. After 20 minutes, I made it inside and got to look at the extensive selection of pastries and more. All of them looked pretty good though the only nod to Swedish baking was a cardamom bun (and one tart that also contained cardamom). The rest were standard baked goods and a few specialties for the month. Counter staff (Finn) was very helpful. I ordered a Farm12 mocha, almond croissant, and the aforementioned cardamom bun. The mocha was well made, perfect temp, and tasty. The cardamom bun dough was underproofed, dense, and gummy. Good flavor and looks. Almond croissant was buttery and flaky like you'd expect. I personally prefer my almond filling added after baking as it doesn't moisten the inside as much. Overall, this is a good addition to the area, nice people, seems well run, and handy if at the nearby park and trail. Just don't go in thinking Swedish in any way.

Service was quick for ordering the pastries and no drink. I did come in when there want a line so that definitely helped in the wait time.
