My handbag was looked at prior to us entering. No drugs were found during check in but all of a sudden my husband gets pulled out because of "suspected drugs?" I was in the bathroom, left my purse behind. The purse fell on the floor. My husband picked it up, he touched his nose. That small incident prompted the manager to assume that my husband was sniffing drugs. I am still trying to comprehend what happened. Truly ridiculous. read more

Came to dance on a Wednesday night, was immediately greeted with unkindness. When the line dance instructor started teaching, she was very unpleasant and looked irritated to even be teaching. Made several rude comments and taught the dances in 5 mins and didn't show each wall and did not teach the restarts or tags. Every time I come here, they ask for a second form of ID and will say your DL is fake when it isn't. Even have a cop verify and they get all butt hurt about and ban you. My friend is 22 and said his DL was fake and took his ID and had to fight with the "Agent Lewis" for almost an hour to get it back after an actual cop said it was real. read more

Maybe my expectations of "clubs" are much higher than others, coming from San Diego where we have some AMAZING ones, but this warehouse is NOT my cup of tea. First of all, it was empty Thursday night around 11pm, usually that's when I expect the fun to start. Second, slow country music?????? really???? At a club???? No.. The only song I was able to dance to was the cupid shuffle, and this song is what? 100 years old! C'mon. Jaba the hut is by far the most rude bouncer I've ever met. I've been to the bar upwards of 100 times and never once has the bouncer (Jaba the hut) been kind to me. Smoking is allowed indoors and it gets pretty heavy, so be aware if you have allergies or if it bothers you. Drinks are a pretty fair price and there are quite a few pool tables as well. The EC is probably one of the worst bars in Clarkesville Tennessee if not in the whole entire state. They play the same exact playlist over and over again. The DJ is absolutely clueless to what the people want to hear because every single time the dance floor gets full after that song they will change and go to something that is the complete opposite of what the crowd is into. The bartenders are mediocre, slow and very rarely work their way around the bar they constantly stay in one spot. This is definitely eight amateur run bar. I kept wanting to like this place, I went back over and over but there's not too many friendly people who want to hang out with a girl who went to a bar by herself. The staff seems really nice, but I just thought it was a country bar...and more than half the night is hip hop or something and then when country does come on...everyone line dances. That's not what I'm used to in the least. I'm from Texas, and the bars I went to there were great, you quickly become friends with the other regulars and you can dance the whole night to country with a 1 hour hip hop break. My friend introduced me to Electric Cowboy while I was visiting from out of town. We went on a Wednesday evening and they offer free line dancing lessons and there was no cover. There is a plethora of games throughout, pool and mega sized Jenga. The dance floor was in the center and after lessons the DJ played great dance music. Oh, and drinks were only $.99!!! Not my idea of a fun night. We had started at Hooter's and weren't ready to call it a night and the EC was in same building so it was convenient. I wear my sunglasses on my ball cap and the first thing I was told is I was not allowed to have them in the club, not on but in the place period. One of the other guys I was with was made to remove his hat. So we put the items in our vehicles, pay the cover and head in. Very casual bar with dance floor. Don't over dress! Friends chose to go here. The music was actually a good mixture, not just straight up country music. I know this bar is smoke friendly, I tried to have fun despite the fumes, people smoked while dancing, going to the bathroom etc. It took me 5 days to completely get the smell out of my hair and I showered and used 3 different shampoo products, rerinsed and everything. There was lots to do and a fun atmosphere with cheap drinks. I was surprised how dead it was for a Friday night but it could have just been luck of the draw. I've never understood the appeal of this place. It is from what I understand the only country club in town, but it's so boring. It's expensive too. You pay 10 dollars to get in this place. That's more than most of the places in Nashville. The dance floor is rather small considering the size of the place. The music could stand improvement (but that could be said of the entirety of Clarksville), and prices are just too high considering how low-rent the place is. The entertainment is great if you are a fan of watching people line dance or witnessing bikini contests (people still do that? I don't get it though, I come from a city where that was passe over a decade ago. I like half-naked women, but I can get that for free online.). If you are not a fan of old music or any of the aforementioned things then I recommend staying home with booze and some friends. You'll have a much better time. read more

I've been here multiple times and tonight was probably the worst one there. I got kicked out for wearing my pants properly. The bouncer literally yelled at me to lift my pants and I had to physically show him that i wasn't sagging.
