I told the tech I stop using the medication 5 days prior to my appointment. She thanked me for the info so she could proceed with the best method. She then mapped my brows and applied wax. I was taken aback but wrongly thought she was doing the best method for retinoid use. That was a huge mistake. Not only did she butcher me brows, she took some of my skin with them. I can't speak for every employee but Erica really left her mark (with tint) on my face... I used to tint my own brows and it never turned out this horrible. The wax job itself was fine - she mapped out my face and left what she think I needed to grow out but it still looked messy once I scrubbed the tint off, which hurt considering it wasn't easy to remove. Let's just say I left not being able to look anyone in the eyes. How embarrassing! On a plus side, the inside of this business is very well taken care of and decorated nicely. I typically fill in my brows daily but decided to get them microbladed. Right as my appointment that I wanted like a month for was coming, I came down with covid and Katie was SO flexible and kind on rescheduling. She is clearly a boss so she books up pretty quickly so I had to wait another month for her services. She color matched my brows PERFECTLY and got the shape spot on. Like I said, I already had decent shape but she made them look so defined. I'm not going to lie the healing was quite annoying. You can't get them wet, sweat etc and with the Louisiana heat, it was very hard not to sweat. If I decide to do microblading again I am definitely going to get it done in the winter so I don't need to stress every time I go outside. The scary part about microblading is after the scabs fall off they lighten a lot & then darken back up. Katie eased my anxiety and they looked nice after the first session. I went back for my perfecting session 6 weeks later & they are just about healed now. The healing process was also a lot easier the second time around. When I got there, she got started with me right away (despite me interrupting her break because I was a little early, sorry Katie!). She was very gentle and I didn't experience any discomfort. When I finally was done and looked at my eyes, they weren't red or irritated, something I'd noticed in pics in reviews for other places. And, my lashes were BEAUTIFUL! I got a new full classic set. I specifically booked a Senior Stylist through the website at a listed price of $133. After booking, I received a call requiring a $50 deposit, which I paid. During that call, I was also advised to wait until the next day to see the same Senior Stylist I had originally selected. The morning of my appointment, I received a confirmation link that included a vague statement: "If you booked with a senior stylist, you will be subject to an upcharge at checkout." However, no amount was disclosed, which is misleading and unacceptable. At checkout, I was shocked to be charged $150 instead of $133, along with an automatic 20% gratuity ($30)--bringing my total to $180 for a service I expected to cost $133. When I contacted the salon to dispute the charges, communication stopped, and they have refused to refund the $21 overcharge ($17 price difference + $4 additional gratuity). This experience reflects a lack of transparency and poor customer service. Pricing should be clearly disclosed upfront, not revealed after the service is completed. I am simply requesting a $21 refund to correct this issue. Owner requested proof of website discrepancies and they would happily refund my $21 which I did.. now they are not responding.

When I asked for thicker braids, the result was inconsistent sizing throughout. Additionally, my hair began to frizz almost immediately because it was not properly wrapped into the braiding hair.
