We got the tequila tang and tequila margarita. Service was prompt and drinks were strong.

    Cool Victorian era bar feel

New favorite place in the Hollywood area. First off, the design is so very, very cool. I couldn't quite place it, steampunk Victorian? Turns out it is retro train car and I love it. The happy hour menu is one of the best I've seen in a looooong time. 4-6 and even on a Saturday. Go, go, go. Service--great, friendly, helpful. We showed up at 5ish on a Friday for the first time and had no idea they had an amazing happy hour so of course it was crowded. There was also an 11 year old birthday in the main restaurant so that was full up. They put us on a wait list and texted when the table came up, not 10 minutes later. Yay! Came back again on a Saturday for drinks at the bar and then dinner in the restaurant. Split the chicken basket with a friend and it was delicious. Wine was yummy. The hibiscus margarita was interesting, but a little too sweet for me. The orange tang margarita with carrots and orange was a little too much like a tang drink for me. Trying something else next time. The place was so nice and I don't mind finding the drink that I love here on my next visit. Wish there were more options on the menu for dinner, but that was the only drawback.

    Smash daddy burger

Godamnnnnn Electric Owl is not playing fair. The Smash Daddy burger is an absolute flavor haymaker and for $4.20 on happy hour you're basically committing a crime if you don't order it. Crispy edges, juicy center, sauce hitting like it has something to prove. The vibe is smooth, the drinks slap, and somehow the kitchen moves like they're speedrunning greatness. If you leave without trying it, that's on you. The service is mad friendly too. Don't sleep . Plus it's clean brodie!

Ayoooo!! Electrical Owl is a cute little local bar and restaurant. Very affordable bites and drinks. Love that i can walk from my house. You can watch a game if you sit at the bar. Great service, parking on the side. Great cocktails, come check this place out!

Came in on a whim on a Sunday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised there was happy hour! However, one off putting thing right away is that not too long after getting seated at our table, someone came up to us and commanded me to take my water bottle off the table. This dampened the experience from that point on especially when I saw that a woman at another table had a water bottle on her table and was not told the same thing. Food was decent and hit the spot for what we wanted. Just wish service was a bit better.

We went to the Electric Owl a little while ago, just after Ozzy had passed. They had an Ozzy tribute playing the entire time we were there. But this is about food, service, and ambiance, not Ozzy. There is parking on site, paid parking, but there is parking right at the restaurant. We lucked out and found street parking very close. The décor is really well thought out and maybe even classy. The train coach feeling is real and well done. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and checks in the right amount of the time. Water glasses kept being refilled, the waiter checked in several times, even to make sure it was not too loud. It was not. It was Ozzy! We got the Dynamite Krab fries. Oh, these are good. Good size cuts on the French fries, not too small so everything falls off, not so large that all you seem to get is potato. Great flavors and texture. And a good amount of food on the plate. We also got the L.A. Smash as well as the Grill Daddy Burger. The Grill Daddy Burger was cooked to a good medium, still juicy, not undercooked, just right. And the bun and toppings were a great match. The bun didn't fall apart too fast, not too many toppings, but still a handful. And the flavors, so good. It works well. The L.A. Smash was good as well. Good size, great flavor, not overwhelming. The folks there all seemed to be enjoying themselves. We arrived early, but the place was filling up when we were leaving. I need to go back and try some of the other things out here. It is definitely worth a revisit.

Cool little spot. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but once you get inside, WOW!! Reminds me of those old school train cars feel. Customer service is on point, and the waiter was really nice to us. Food looks good, will update once we taste it. Overall I'm glad we didn't go to El Compadre that place sucks! **Update** The food was delicious! I'm so glad we stumbled upon this place. Pizza was handmade, the burger patties were too! Everything is good here!! 5

Sit at the bar and have the best burger w the crispest bacon, tastiest caramelized onions and fluffy great bun. Have a perfectly- and I mean it, perfectly dressed Cesar salad. Then the ultimate is this is the best Espresso Martini I've ever had- FOAMy and decadent. The bartender is pretty talented- we come and get seriously this same order like once a week.

The restaurant is beautiful and reminds me of being in Mexico. A Spanish theme and style. A lot of seating and it's also spacious with an outdoor patio that is open to the customers and also widely used for many event. Everything was clean from what I noticed. The music volume was tolerable as well as the selection of choice. Felt like I was on vacation for a min. A great spot to have drinks. A great to spot to meet up or even come for a date. The Melrose Mule was cool. Very refreshing like the bartender mentioned. It was different than the usual mules I get. And the Improved Whiskey was like having an Old Fashion and Whiskey Sour together. It did not disappoint. I also had an attentive bartender who had a good attitude. Didn't take long for him to make my drinks nor put in an order for a smash burger. The smash burger was acceptable. It was good, however, I was expecting something a little bit bigger in size. I like the presentation with it being wrapped in foil. It was cooked perfectly, it was hot and flavorful. No complaints other than the size. I wouldn't mind pulling back up for another happy hour when I'm back in the area. They have some more drinks I would love to try.
