My mouth is watering just thinking about the Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich I had here. I honestly couldn't understand why this place wasn't busier, especially with their BOGO house drinks. My fiancé and I decided to take our sandwiches to go since we wanted to relax back at our hotel, but we did enjoy a couple of cocktails while waiting for the food and they were great. I ordered the Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich and made it a doozy... best decision ever. The doozy adds cheese and honey, and the honey was hands down my favorite part. It added the perfect touch of sweetness without being overpowering, especially with the spice level I chose. The sauce, fries, and seasoning were all so good. My photo of the food was terrible.. it doesn't do it justice at all. I was starving and i just wanted to devour it. They were kind enough to let us sample their rub so we could decide on a spice level. Medium was perfect for my fiancé, and I went with hot. After tasting it, we loved it so much that we asked if we could buy the rub on its own. They sold it for $1 per small sauce cup so naturally, I bought five. LOL I wish I had the chance to try more of their menu, but if I'm back in town, don't worry, I'll be here. read more

Now that the NFL has come to a halt for some of us, I can finally relax and enjoy the break before the Super Bowl. This spot ended up being an overflow from the bar next door not bad at all. Bottomless mimosas for $19.99? Yes please. The fries were sooo good and the beer was crisp and yummy. My friend ordered the chicken tenders and they were big and very tasty. One thing that was definitely missing though was music it was really needed to keep the energy going. Huge shoutout to Coco for holding it down and serving a large crowd by herself before she even got help around 2:30 PM you did that, girl! Parking wasn't the best lol we found some street parking, but there are plenty of parking structures nearby. Can we officially call this the other Broncos bar?? Just saying LMK. Awesome service with a great location of the walk of fame. We came in right at opening time so we were the first ones in. My friend got a drink and we got to ordering some food because we were starved! She opted for mild tenders and I went for level 4 spicy sandwich. I "made it a doozy" which was adding cheese and honey. My goodness! Was it the best Nashville hot sandwich that I've had in a long time. It was spicy but it burned so good!! The slaw cooled it down. The heat wore off quickly once I was done eating so that was good. Now being my age, my stomach was mad at me for the spice level for the rest of the day but it was worth it! This is a really convenient bar & restaurant right in hollywood. Went on a friday night and it was immediate seating. Our waitress was really friendly and we all ordered the original mutha clucka to go. It's a really cheap meal considering the location! It was like $14 for a sandwich with fries. The sandwich itself was good, medium had a nice amount of spice to it. I just didn't like whatever seasoning they put on the sandwich and fries, it was like a flavored salt or something. A decent bar with various fried chicken options. I like spicy food and was underwhelmed with the "hottest" option and felt that the name was misleading. The fry on the chicken was okay too and pretty standard. We did notice that they have happy hour though that would make it worth going to if you're in the area. I stopped by to take advantage of the one dollar wing Wednesday deal. They have great daily specials and two for one drinks during happy hour, which is Monday through Friday 4 to 7. Pretty reasonable on the pocketbook. The interior is all black and kind of crazy which is interesting for Hollywood Boulevard, but not necessarily my style. Great spot to watch the action on the Boulevard and enjoy a reasonably priced drinking meal. Staff was friendly and helpful in picking out my flavor of wings. Wings had a great taste to him, but we're admittedly kind of small. I guess for one dollar a wing you can't expect them to be perfect... Food is great as always, I'm not a fan of the 18% gratuity charge for only 2 people dining in. Asked the waitress if it states on the menu anywhere that's it's an automatic gratuity she said "I'm not sure but it's just 18% it's not that big of a deal." On menu it states 18% for parties of 6 or more. We are a party of only 2 people. Not happy with that part of the experience. Mind you we've been customers since HMC opened at a car wash, we're loyal fans but this isn't the way to do things. Hope the manager can reach out. read more

My son and I were in Hollywood for a conference recently and looking for lunch. This place was had good reviews so we decided to give it a shot. Upon walking in it looked more like a dive bar, which is fine because he's 16, but we gave it a chance. The bartender was the only server in the place and provided excellent service. We had the #1 which is a hot chicken sandwich with coleslaw and a side of fries. The prices were comparable to fast food these days. You can order it with varying degrees of spiciness. I had the hot and my son had the mild. He said the mild was too mild but I felt the hot was perfect, and I love spicy food. It had a good kick without overpowering the flavor. The bread was soft and delicious. The fries were good but not great. They had limited soft drink options but a full bar with what looked to be a good beer selection but I wasn't drinking. As a local, I have been curious about this location and finally gave it a try, but only to discover disappointing service and unsanitary restrooms. Overall there were approximately 10 guest at maximum in the entire establishment, and yet we had to wave waitresses down for drinks. Then had to wave them down again for food; not sure why we had to do this when we sat at the bar. Every time I looked over waitresses were on their phones and/or were chatting outside with non-guest. We paid with cash, waitress didn't return with our change; so you can say she tipped herself 5%. If she would have returned she would have gotten her full 15%. Poor gentleman whom sat next to us had service, but rude service. We did not eat here due to their lack of service, inconvenience, and cleanliness. In a time where establishments businesses are declining, service should be priority. read more

Their #1 original sandwich meal with a fried chicken tender, spiced how you like it, house sauce, coleslaw, and pickles on a bun; it comes with a side of coleslaw and seasoned fries ($12.50 + $1 doozy style (add American cheese and honey). I get it spiced medium which is perfect. The bartendress/waitress that was there today (June 20, 2024), was lovely. Great Place to Catch a Game I was looking for a place to watch the Dodger game, there are a few other bars/restaurants in the same street who were showing the game that were extremely busy. The waiter came soon after we sat down and showed us where to scan for the menu. It was a bartender with pink hair, she was kind and thorough. The website can be a bit confusing while looking at the menu because there's like a separate dine in menu than the "order now". The food was really good and it was a nice serving size for a reasonable price. I ordered the #3 which was the Tenderific Two. It came with two tenders, toast, topped with pickles, and fries. I got medium heat and they were really good. The sauce was good too, but you might need extra. I only had water to drink, but their margaritas did look good, and I heard they were pretty tasty and strong.
