The technician arrived in the morning, was very pleasant, removed his shoes, took care around my home. He was able to quickly identify the problem and fix it right up, quoted me before doing so, and my freezer was fixed in under an hour, right before Christmas for $200, which I was happy to pay given that the manufacturer couldn't even do that. They also guarantee it for a year, and he gave me some great tips for fridge/freezer maintenance. Very happy!

****Avoid this business****…read more Last March our Samsung dryer stopped drying. We called Plante Refrigeration, for $50 they came to give an estimate on a repair. The estimate was $125 not including the $50 for a new heating element and installation. They arrived 2 days later, tore the dryer apart, replaced 4 different parts. They were not able to finish due to a missing piece and returned 4 days later to finally finish the job. Final cost was was $445 not including the initial $50 to come for the estimate. Fast forward to November - The dryer stops working again. We call Plante and they would not even come look at it unless we paid an additional $50 for travel expenses. The icing on the cake was the technician's body odor which did not leave our laundry room for 2 days. That is not a dig at the gentleman but the truth. Read the google reviews on this company and you will see how awful the service is.

I told him on the phone that i tought it was the ball bearing and he told me that we could just change the ball bearing. Next day i had to call back since it was almost noon and they didn't called yet. The guy came later with a ball bearing for a dryer (great! They really listen to you when you talk to them) ... He opened the washer and told me it it was probably the pulley and would come back with the piece during the week. The guy never came back or bothered to call since then, and it has been 3 weeks now. The faulty piece was indeed the ball bearing but it is part of the external drum. This business is highly amateur and a rip off. My advice...STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS! Unless you want to waste your money and be told total bullshit.
