The first half of day one was on understanding theory of recovery options; the afternoon was advanced tire repair and then out in the field doing hands on stuck situations. Day two was all in the field understanding winch applications and applying them to our vehicles. It's one thing to read about or watch a video on winch recovery, but actually doing it yourself and seeing the winch in action is some much better for understanding and retention of the skills. It wouldn't shift into anything but neutral. Then the brake lights and turn signals went out. On June 18th, I got the car to Subaru of Bend. It was there until July 28th because the wire harness that Advanced Northwest Welding had install had blown out the BIT computer unit - and they had to disconnect it or the issue would continue. On May 26th I had a hitch installed by these people. At the time the installer didn't appear to know what he was doing or how to install the wire harness. I was sitting there watching the install and could hear everything. Not only did they not install the proper wire harness for my car; they installed it incorrectly. Not only was my trip ruined, but they damaged my car. All of which cost me a lot of money and time. Not to mention the fact that this could have caused my daughter and I to get killed. The owner is terrible to deal with. Unless I get every penny of my money back - I plan to take her to court.

It's been dragging about an inch off the ground since then. With my work schedule I was just not able to get it fixed. I take my dog to doggy daycare right next to Main Auto and I thought....I'm just going to ask if they can unscrew the part hanging down. I stopped in the office and asked and right away the Owner (I think it was the owner) came out and looked and called one of the guys over to fix it. I told him it was like 2 screws. Of course after the guy went under the car it was a bit more that needed to be done. I offered my credit card and he said I didn't have to pay anything.
