On 2/15 I drove back out to the store with the intention of getting a refund and being done with the experience. Well, they don't take refunds. Just store credit in exchange. Needless to say, I'm not happy. Now I have to wait and see if the store gets a new watch in exchange for the malfunctioning one. What I don't understand is, I came back the very next day, with the item and proved it wasn't working properly. How does that warrant a refund? This makes no sense at all.

They also do a really nice job wrapping gifts at the front desk. When you walk in, it feels as though you've stepped into a fairy land. Tiny glittering objects and trinkets adorn every inch of space, appealing to new age crystal collectors, modern hippies, beach-combing coastal dwellers, cottage core kids, and everyone in between! On the main floor they have most of their crystals and gemstone jewelry, from many different vendors and suppliers. In the little alcoves right near the front door they stock palo santo, cedar, and sage bundles, as well as my absolute favorite fragrances and candles from L'apothecaire. In the next room to the right they have a variety of leather goods like wallets and purses, greeting cards, and some clothing. Upstairs they sell all different types of incense, incense burners, tarot cards, essential oils, even more gems, and candles (including voluspa that are significantly cheaper than you can find online). And I'm just barely scratching the surface of what you can find here. Without a doubt, Heartichoke is a treasure trove that you can easily get lost in.

And she rotates her stock, which is another thing I like! She'll carry some typical items, other items she'll carry for a few months or a couple of years then switch 'em out for something new. The staff are professional, friendly, and personal people who are knowledgeable about what Laura sells. You can ask them a question about something esoteric or pagan religion-related and if they don't know the answer they'll pull out their phone and search if for you on the spot, or write down a website or name of a preist/ess, healer, etc. for you to search yourself. Laura herself cares about her customers. I cannot provide any detailed comments regarding her tarot readings personally, since I haven't gotten one by her, but I've heard that they're sought after and she's very good. I have gotten a short (for lack of better wording) personal reading (I asked a question, no cards involved) by her recently regarding an issue I've been struggling with for a while and her spiritual advice was insightful and gave me a boost in my confidence. Finally, I like items with ravens/crows, skulls, and bats on them, and I also collect gargoyles. I've been able to a couple of beautiful raven sun catchers here, which are hard to find.
