I had the pleasure of working with Sandra for my wedding. I booked her two months before my wedding and she was able to accommodate me with everything i needed in such a timely manner. We worked together mostly on the phone. The day of my wedding, when i finally walked into my venue, i was breathless ! It took my breath away ! Everything was exactly how i wanted it. All fresh flowers and it smelled so nice ! I wanted a very clean, all white look and she definitely came through with the looks. Everything was very neat and clean- dealing with only white flowers and decorations are risky, but everything was elegant and neat and that's what i wanted. Sandra went out her way to help take my seating chart, my pictures and even favor boxes to set up for the hall. She went above and beyond for us and we can't thank her enough. I'm just looking forward for the next time i get to work with her. She is my new go to for all of the events i plan to have in the fire. On my wedding day I was surrounded by pink, red, coral roses, thinking back I can still recall the sweet sweet fragrance and pleasing blend of colours. Sandra was so professional and accommodating. This review is WAAAY OVERDUE! BEWARE of this business and scam artist Sandra. We booked her for our wedding in 2017 and went over everything in detail to color schemes for the backdrop for the Hindu ceremony and reception, colors for flower arrangements, bouquet, etc.... Everything was discussed in detail!!! Hindu wedding: I asked for gold sequence and red draping. What I got? White and silver backdrop!!! The day of my Hindu ceremony I get a phone call that the mandap cannot fit on the stage. After I made arrangements for them to go beforehand to make sure it will fit they never went and just showed up on the day of with this issue. I let it slide! Day of reception: Received INCORRECT color of boutonnière for the groom, groomsmen, parents of the bride and groom. They showed up 1 HOUR before my guests arrived!!! I had guests lined up outside the venue waiting to go in. Guests were going into the venue and they were physically pushing people out because NOTHING was set up. They blamed it on the hall but little did they know we knew the other couple that was getting married on the same day that hired then as well and they were running late because of that! Color of floral arrangements for the centerpieces were WRONG! My backdrop for the reception was WRONG! They absolutely did NOT follow anything on my CONTRACT. They in fact did everything the same for BOTH weddings they had on the SAME DAY. After I tried talking to her about what is going at the venue, she gets defensive starts yelling and screaming and just LEAVES! Everything about my decor and what I PAID for was wrong! The chair we sat on BROKE during speeches. It was such a DISASTER!!! She ruined my entire vision for my wedding. Every girl dreams of their perfect wedding and they just ruined it! After the wedding, we spoke and she apologized. I asked for some money back but she issued me a credit for $700 instead. I didn't think that was enough nor did I ever want to do business with her again but I accepted it because I'm not a person that wants to ruin someone's business. I could've wrote a bad review and take her to court but instead I TRUSTED her again like the idiot that I am. Fast forward to last year I decided to use my credit to cover expenses for my brothers wedding which she accepted to use the credit but my brother had to cancel due to covid. Fast forward to this year: Sandras daughter who also does the business with her quoted and wrote up a bill which she sent to my sister in law which states $650 for everything she wants. I've been sending Sandra emails to confirm that I will again use my credit to cover their expenses. Today is 3 days before my brothers wedding. Sandra decides to tell me she cannot honor the bill that her business partner provided nor honor my credit. Her math was completely off and when I asked her to break it down so I can understand she called me and cursed me out then hung up the phone before I can say anything. Granted, I know things are a bit more expensive but everything was TOTALLY OFF! She yelled "I don't have time for this. It's 1.50/stem if they want to get it somewhere else do what the f**** you want ". How do you run a business and you're constantly yelling and cursing people out? She then proceeds to block my number from calling her and texting her. Not only did she ruin MY wedding, my BROTHER has to now find somewhere else to get what he needs 3 DAYS before his wedding!!!! Like I said this post was long overdue but it's here now. DO NOT!!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!! She is a scam artist. I had a gut feeling she wouldn't honor my credit in the future! I should've taken legal action then but I WILL NOW. BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS AND THE OWNER!! Such disgusting behavior from someone who's supposed to be PROFESSIONAL!!!!! read more

Not only is she kind, pleasant, honest, caring, passionate and fun to be around, she is able to execute your vision better than you imagine. I visited Sandra's floral design shop less than a month before my best friend Jennifer's bridal shower and she was ready and more than willing to accommodate me. At times I changed the plan and she reassured me that everything would be perfect. She created a sample for me to approve days before the event and even then I was still surprised and elated when she placed the arrangements on the tables the day of the event. Sandra does amazing work, she did both the decor for my Hindu wedding and reception, however I was disappointed in the way she made both of my bouquets, It was also disappointing that there is an additional fee to decorate the wedding cake when she is in charge of decor but, yet at my wedding she didn't place or perhaps forgot to place rose petals on the cake table surrounding the wedding cake, she did the same for my Hindu Ceremony and forgot to place the rose petals on the aisle runner, which was stated in the contract, how do you forget those details? read more

I used a Elegant Florist for my wedding in June 2015. They were recommended by my wedding planner. I specifically asked to not have pepto bismol pink buttoneers for my groomsmen but that's what I got. I was disappointed bc they had fuschia ties. The bridesmaid bouquets were beautiful, however, my bouquet was not as abundant and full as a bride's bouquet should've been. It was kinda skimpy so that was disappointing. I didn't bother calling then bc The flowers were delivered the day of and it was too late. I would use them again however I'd allow time to see the product first before delivery. read more

I wish I could give Elegant Floral Designs ZERO starts!!!! I have never written a review before but I need to warn future brides against this business. I discovered Sandra and this business through a Dulhan Expo and I have never seen such false promises or poorer workmanship in my life. The stage they did for my event brought me near tears and was NOTHING like they promised. The flowers were days old and dying; the center pieces were falling apart. Despite sending the owner, Sandra, full payment I was met with extreme rudeness and told that my family was cheap and she didn't care that her flowers were days old or that the stage was not what we ordered.
