Ordinarily an Aberdeen caregiver is scheduled to be with my cousin just a few mornings per week, and there was no one on duty last Friday when some visiting neighbors became concerned that she was unwell and phoned Aberdeen for help. The Aberdeen Case Manager, Diana Shepherd, promptly rushed over to my cousin's house to check and take care of her. Diana then stayed with my cousin until she could arrange for Aberdeen caregivers to stay with her 24/7 until the health crisis passed. I appreciate that it was not easy to find caregivers on such short notice, and am grateful to those kind caregivers who rearranged their schedules during this busy holiday season just to be with my cousin. I live four hours away, so having this dedicated team in place means the world to me, and gives me great peace of mind. I cannot say enough good things about Aberdeen, and Diana and her wonderful caregivers!

Northshore Home Medical Supply offered a big selection, which was good because I'm a big guy, and she went in to talk to the staff. Joe showed her the options, then said that they also rent chairs, so I could try it at home for 30 or 60 days, or just rent it for the period I needed. After 30 days we knew that we wanted to buy the chair. Their price was better than other companies, and they credited the rental fee to the purchase price, making it a great value. 2 years later there was a problem with the chair, the back collapsed and the remote couldn't bring it up. Calling the manufacturer for what we thought was a 7 year warranty, ends up on certain parts were covered. They couldn't even offer a service call because they don't have a Boston service supplier. I called Northshore and described the issue, they had a service tech out that day to review the problem. He couldn't figure out the fix. Joe came out at 8 pm and within 15 minutes the chair was working like new, at no charge. This is an excellent local company. I would recommend them highly.

She has a bad…read morebed sore on her butt, has been transferred back to the hospital 5 times with aspirational pneumonia, bladder, and urinary tract infections, and has not had any actual rehabilitation. These people have no common sense, not to mention, when you find your mom laying flat, gasping for air, with a mouth full of green mush, I asked for help, I was handed swabs to clean her mouth, 2 hrs later she was transferred back to the hospital with aspirational pneumonia! it clearly stated on the board, do not lay flat!, needs help with eating, and I come in at 3 pm her lunch is on the bureau. 7 feet away from her
