Not one nurse came in all night to check on her nor bring her to rest room, nor gave her pain meds she pushed nurse call light several times they would come in tell her they don't understand her due to her speaking Spanish turn call light off and leave. it doesn't take a genius to figure out she was in pain. especially with tears rolling down her face. I bought up concerns and was told it would not happen again. Today is day 2 it's 11:23am and again no pain meds all night and all day. I called twice was transferred to nurse station and no answer. Finally got through to male nurse he was very very rude and said he would go bring her pain meds took him 30 minutes from when I spoke to him. Monday can not get here fast enough. What a shame

My Mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in July 2023 and had to go to Glenridge to start physical therapy to get strong and start Chemo. She never got strong and she got a huge bedsore that was so deep you could see bone. The staff there was so mean and handled my mother roughly(she was only about 100lbs) The turning point was on Sunday 10/28/23 when my sister and I called 911 to come get my mother because she was so sick and not one staff member had checked on her all that day and it was 7 pm when we call for help. My mom passed away a week later. I know my mom would've passed regardless but the staff could've made her at the least, comfortable. I honestly don't know how you (the staff) sleep at night knowing how you treat people.

I ended up getting pretty hurt because in my second session my overzealous PT had me do some exercises that just weren't appropriate for where I am at. Although at that session she explained that they probably weren't a great fit for me because they aren't used to chronic pain, I just wish I was told that outright. Or even at the end of the evaluation. The plus side of this place is that, unlike most PT offices, there is a lot of space and privacy when you meet with a PT. I'm sure they do a decent job with the generic one time knee/whatever injury kind of pain but because of my experience I wouldn't recommend them to a friend. *Note, they aren't at 280 Washington St anymore- they're at 20 Guest St. Brighton in the New Balance Building

I have received PT from multiple agencies over the past 10 years, including Kennedy Bros, ProSports…read moreand Mt Auburn, for different issues. But I have never had such rapid relief as I did when treated by Keith Foley. Two years ago, I was diagnosed with a herniated cervical disc with impinged nerve. I went to PT for 6 months with little improvement, although I lost fitness when the therapist had me stop all other fitness activities. Since then, I have lived with chronic daily pain in my neck and shoulders, as well as frequent migraines, despite having tried dry needling, acupuncture, trigger point injections and therapeutic massage. Most recently, I developed shoulder pain from a presumed rotator cuff tear, for which I received PT from Keith. Keith bases his treatment approach on the MacKenzie and Maitland methods. Google it - it makes sense. His practice is patient-centric, focused on how the injury functions within the patient's daily activities, the patient's other symptoms and response to treatment. Treatment includes daily exercises, but also mindful postural resets to be practiced throughout the day, when sitting, typing, standing, walking, sleeping. For the first time, I have a movement plan to treat increased symptoms when they occurred, including when to use pain meds. Keith focuses on patient education, and always teaches the rationale behind his treatment. For the first time in years, I have pain free days. I am using about a third of the medication I needed when I started seeing him 2 1/2 months ago. Keith is professional, articulate, sensitive and intelligent. Not only does he check in with how I am doing during the treatment, but he will also answer questions by email between sessions. He has also suggested literature and videos to support his treatment. I cannot recommend Keith Foley highly enough. Note that Keith may travel between Spaulding locations, so be sure to check his availability before registering. The office at Brighton Landing is clean, and spacious, with ample space for therapy without feeling you are involved in other patient's business. Treatment rooms are three-walled, with a full curtain for privacy. Keyed lockers and a shower room are available. Parking is free with a validated ticket in the garage across the street. The location is convenient to Soldier's Field Rd/Storrow Dr., in the building across from WGBH. The office staff is courteous and competent. I have not had trouble getting my preferred early morning time slots; they are also opened in the evening. Initially I waited a week for my evaluation.

I have tried to address my issues with the director and administrator but all they can do is say they are sorry. I asked the NP questions about my mother's conditions and still have yet to get an answer yet to those questions. I sat inside the facility for hours and my mom asked the CNA for help but the CNA just got frustrated with an attitude like my mother was asking her for too much. No matter what nurse or CNA we ask for help, it always seems to be a bother. I am truly disgusted with the care quality that this facility offers and the attention to detail that they have. The only staff that I can say genuinely care about the patients are the people from PT and OT and dialysis.

I pray that God helps whoever bought this Nursing Home and teaches them how to properly take care of their staff in order to make justice on this treatment that is being done to the hard working Nurse Aids!

Inpatient has a commitment requirement that the patient will participate in physical rehabilitation for three hours every day. I found this immensely beneficial, since some places just leave you doing little or nothing every day. The rooms look like The Four Seasons Hotel! My nurse was phenomenal. There are no meal menus. An attendant comes to your room with a wheeling computer cart, and reads you menu suggestions, but you are always free to voice your own choices and wishes. Food was delicious.
