Home away from home...that is what we will be calling this place for at least the next 6 weeks. The 1 bedroom is the perfect size for me and my little family. Not a lot of storage space and no drawers in the room make storing clothes a little difficult. The gym is awesome. For a hotel gym it is packed. Free weights, treadmills, weight machines, yoga stuff, pretty much whatever you would need at the big gyms all downstairs from our "home." The breakfast in the morning is nice. They support a lot of healthier options and it is homemade food. I love the idea of this place. A green hotel but still focused on the comforts and pleasures of home. A couple downers....There are no ovens (bummer for someone who bakes), there isn't a lot of space for storage and the hvac unit is a little noisy. Other than that I am bolting down the hatch for a bit. read more

Full kitchen does NOT include an oven. Major bummer. As others have stated on the reviews on the hotel's site, the heat doesn't work. It blasts non stop until it's baking inside. Luckily we never needed to run it even when -4C outside. Rabbits play games in and around the parking lot and may chew on your cars wires. $300 fix. Wish I could have seen the coyotes pay them a visit! The room, bathroom, fitness center and breakfast were all pretty outstanding for such an inexpensive place. This is by far the nicest inexpensive hotels I have stayed!... Very comfortable beds, with a full kitchen complete with full-size refrigerator, dishwasher stove, and Microwave. The rooms are very contemporary, shower bathroom area so beautiful/contemporary that I would not mind having it in my home. You will not be disappointed with your stay here... I called corporate office they apologize they had late check oits and would be dropping off some coupons for free snacks and apologizing he never did. A friend of ours reserved the room for our stay, decent price. We've stayed here a couple of nights. This is not your typical hotel. Very modern looking and love all finishing touches. I believe this hotel is about 5 years old. Very clean, pet friendly and friendly staff. Way better complimentary breakfast then most hotels, healthy options too. Monday-Thursday there is a social hour, with complimentary beer/wine and some light snacks. YEAH!!! We stayed in a king suite, the bed was comfy. The room was very clean and came with a full size fridge, stove, dishwasher, etc.... Love the shower head. Heard the pool was a salt water pool, didn't have time to go for a dip. Next time. Our only negative remark would be the TV situation. Husband was working at the desk and I was on the couch. Only one of us could watch the TV. Can't say much for some of the pet parents. I don't know why this shocks me each time I stay at a pet friendly hotel. If you have a pet, be an adult and clean up after them. The hotel even gives you the bags. read more

My husband & I stayed at the element for a full week in June. Our stay was extremely enjoyable. I wavered between giving the hotel 4 & 5 stars for quite some time. The only reason I am going with 4 is the pool situation. First let me list the things element did right: -Breakfast! Lots of options, better than all the other hotel breakfast buffets I've tried in the past. Hot coffee available in the lobby all the time including real mugs so you can sit down on the patio & enjoy it without having to drink out of a paper cup. -Front Desk - friendly, attentive & always available. There were some severe thunderstorms during our stay & the desk staff kept a close eye on the weather & kept us informed when we asked for an update. -Convenience Store - a handy little 711 like shop (but more stylish) off the lobby that sells everything you might need or want during your stay. -In-room Kitchen - SUCH a nice perk. Dishwasher, full sized fridge with freezer, sink, stove (no oven) & cabinets full of all the essentials (dish towels, plates, cups, silverware, pots, pans, wine key, can opener, etc. They thought of everything! -Bathroom - stand-up shower only, but the showerhead is to die for! Overhead rainshower style plus secondary spray that can be detached. Thinking of buying the same model for my home, I loved it so much. -Bed - luxury linens, great pillows & very comfortable mattress. -Housekeeping - came every day & did a wonderful job. The one day they arrived at an inconvenient hour, the desk called our room later to see if we would like them to return or skip a day, so considerate! -Design - If you appreciate a well-styled room & overall surroundings, you will enjoy this modern, sleek, tastefully done interior. -Eco-friendly - Everything they do is earth friendly/conservation heavy, from the low-flush toilets/sinks, to the reusable rather than disposable dishes both in room & in the common area, the one switch power down for the room & I'm sure there are other measures Im not aware of. A nice concept! The one downside is that the saltwater pool everyone raved about in the Yelp reviews was not so hot. I had been looking forward to relaxing by the pool, but ended up opting not to because it was a)indoors & b)not that appealing. It was relatively small & though it didn't appear to be unclean, that area of the hotel was clearly not as invested in as all other areas. It was a bit of a let-down, but not reason enough to not stay here. The rooms, staff & concept are all excellent, as is the location close to hiking, shopping, eating/drinking & recreation options. There is a movie theater, nail salon, bowling alley, pizza place, bar & several other shops within very close walking distance. I would stay here again if I return to Denver-A+! read more

I like the Element Denver Park Meadows. What's surprising is that it is a budget hotel that I like despite the lack of amenities like room service, minibars and plush towels. More on that later. Advantages: 1) Westin Heavenly Bed. It's not quite as comfortable as the Westin version, but it is very similar and uses the same bed linens. 2) Very nice shower. 12x12 rain shower head, walk in glass shower. Great way of starting the day. Plus the full glass cubicle retains enough steam to make the shower steamy hot which is really nice. 3) Nice decor. It is modern, but also light and airy. High ceilings, combination of light colours, wood floors and dark finishes. It really is very well done to be modern but also uplifting. Its not sci-fi bleak like the Aloft or dull and gray like the Westin. 4) Nice free breakfast. Egg white, tomato and spinach breakfast burrito. Bacon and egg muffin. Smoothies. Lots of other great stuff. 5) Very nice staff. Disadvantages: 1) Not a full service hotel - lack of room service, lack of minibar, lack of bar. 2) Towels are pretty rough. Honestly the towels are so bad they are out of place. They should fix this. 3) Bed needs a feather bed between the fitted sheet and the mattress. It's not plush enough. read more

We stayed for just one night. The entire place was clean, and had a very peaceful, relaxing vibe. It's very close to shopping and dining, which is a plus. The staff was helpful and polite. We didn't make it down for breakfast, so I can't comment on the quality. My daughter was disappointed in the pool - It's more of a lap pool, rather than for fun. I've been staying here for 2 months while moving to Colorado. I chose it on a whim for one night... I ended up canceling my other reservation and staying here. Here are a few things I noticed: Pro: This is a business/work hotel so Holidays usually are really cheap, (a majority of their clientele go home for the holidays.) The Free continental breakfast is very tasty and the entree changes daily. The free happy hour they have during the week is awesome. The free shuttle saved me a ton of money, and time. It's only an hour light-rail ride to downtown and there is a station down the road. There is a Movie theater, putt-putt golf and several restaurants in walking distance. Cons: The housekeeping staff didn't really replenish items as they were supposed to (coffee cups, tp, hand soap, etc.) Tip: Check rates by phone and on travel sites to get a good deal. read more

Booked our hotel through the Element's website for $89 night pre paid. The rooms are very large with a full kitchen (studio) and the hotel is very pet friendly by providing pet beds and treats. The complementary breakfast was great as well. The hotel would have received a 5 star review however the hotel was so full they couldn't accommodate an early check in for us and there is very little grass close to exits for dogs. read more

We stay at the Element every time we visit the Denver area: clean, modern and well appointed, great location and pet friendly too. The front desk staff is professional, friendly and courteous - every single time. They have a great, complimentary hot breakfast that includes mini egg stratas, hot cottage veggie/potatoes, fresh fruit, assorted juices, cold cereal and oatmeal. They also have a great fresh Chobani yogurt bar with fruit and other toppings. Its not your usual waffle machine, day-old donut breakfast. The breakfast staff was welcoming and friendly and seemed to care about their jobs, which isn't always the case in other hotels. Housekeeping was friendly and thorough. Excellent hotel. This hotel is our new go to place when in the Denver area. It is very unusual to find a hotel which caters to guests with allergies and they have hit it on the spot. Here are some of the highlights: 1) Cozy and comfortable bed - Their Heavenly bed is beyond amazing. 2) Spa bathroom with walk in rain shower 3) Unique layout and efficient use of space. The hotel designers made the room seem much bigger than it is by not wasting any space. 4) Large window which lets in an abundant amount of light 5) No-VOC paint used throughout 6) Low-VOC carpeting 7) Unique LED lighting and light wall makes winding down a pleasure 8) Fast and free Wi-Fi 9) Full kitchen So not everything is perfect so here are my suggestions to make the place 5 stars. 1) In the lobby areas, there is a pretty distinct use of fragrance which billows throughout the air conditioning system. I'd recommend to management that they lower the saturation of the fragrance since it is very strong. For those of us with allergies, it can sometimes almost be too much. 2) Dynamic pricing - Our room rate became lower during our stay and the front desk was not able to easily change it. We would have needed to create a new reservation online and then have the front desk check us out and check us in again in order to save money. This is a hassle which could be easily fixed if the front desk was empowered to assist. Overall, a great place to spend time at when in the south tech center area of Denver. read more

Horrible experience. Lazy staff. When we arrived, it took forever to get checked in. Once we went to our room, there were dirty towels and sheets in the middle of the kitchen floor. Things were falling apart in the room. Someone went in our room while we were gone and turned the TV's on when we clearly had a "Do not disturb" sign on the door. There were multiple extra charges to our account AFTER we checked out, including one that was more than our entire stay should have costed, and instead of trying to correct it right away, they opened up a "ticket" and now we have to wait to get any of that money back. I haven't stayed here in over a year due to a change in work territory. I came back the last couple of days as the hotel has always provided a clean, pleasant experience. The staff is extremely courteous. Whether it be at check in or at breakfast, the staff goes out of its way to help. At breakfast, I watched the chef teach one of his employees how to make a certain pancake. He was patient and a good coach which obviously fits in with the rest of the staff here. As this is part of the Starwood chain, I figured it would be pretty solid. It looks great inside and my kids loved the idea of swimming in December. Walking down the hall to our room we passed a room where several bloody towels were outside a door. Housekeeping? Our room was freezing cold, and even after we let the front desk know...it remained freezing cold. Some of the rooms are shouting distance to the freeway...ours included. Wood floors look nice in the hotel rooms but unless you're on the top floor you get to hear your upstairs neighbor come back to his room at 12:30 am. read more

Firstly the front desk for a entire day and a half did not answer the phone after trying over 10 times I had to Google the hotel and call them and then they answered the front desk? Told me IF I had called they had stepped away from the desk. At 3:00 pm the rooms and the two other rooms of my fellow travelers had not been cleaned on my cell phone call I asked if they might let housekeeping know and they replied....housekeeping was not finished yet. All three of our rooms were never serviced or cleaned at ALL nothing including no towels. This place did nothing to offset this on our check out. This is a decent hotel overall. I like the room itself, but there are a few things that are lacking. The internet here is abysmal. I had to turn wifi off of my phone In order to check emails. Also, the bathroom has no conditioner, face wash, q-tips, or any thing above bare minimum basics. If all you need is body wash, an ineffective shampoo/ conditioner combo, and a wash cloth, you are all set. There also is no hotel bar or restaurant. I wouldn't recommend this for business travelers or anyone who is looking for a chill night with Netflix and room service. read more

Do not stay at this hotel. They do not clean your rooms. I had read reviews stating that this was a problem. Today we got back to the room at 3pm and our room still had not been cleaned. I called the front desk to notify them and they said the cleaners had until 5pm. At 5pm they still had not cleaned our room and I was told at the front desk there is nothing I can do about it because the cleaners had already left for the day. And the best they could do was the receptionist could empty our trash and give us clean towels. I asked to speak to a manager and there was no one available to speak to. This used to be a 4-Star property. Not any longer. It's now barely a 1. The furniture is quite worn out and scratched up. Garbage cans out front spilling over with trash. Not much curb appeal, huh? The elevator floors were dirty for the duration of our 3 night stay. The carpet in the hallways of the 4th floor were filthy and in serious need of replacing. The wooden arms have all fallen off of the patio furniture outside. The biggest complaint is housekeeping or the lack thereof. The first day I told the housekeeper (who was down the hall )that we would be out for a couple of hours. She informed me it "was the other lady's room and for me to call the front desk"! I did. And we returned to bed made and clean towels, which was all I asked for. The next day....... After 2 calls to the front desk to get the room serviced, we returned to bed STiLL unmade, no clean towels, and no paper towels. I had left trash cans and dirty towels in the hallway in HOPES that the housekeeper who was 2 doors down would get the message. Didn't work. Called front desk and a pleasant young lady promptly delivered clean towels and paper towels. Luckily, I'd already loaded the dishwasher. Then I got to make the bed. For $170 a night, I expect better. Additionally, if you are here and need to use your wireless devices, forget about it. WI-FI is basically non-existent. Free is worthless if it doesn't work!!!!! The only reason it even gets a star is because the guest laundry and the workout facility are both very nice. Management needs to seriously look at this property through the eyes of its guests.... They won't like what they see. There are tooooooooooo many other options to stay here again. read more

Stayed here for business and enjoyed the stay but I was stuck in a conference so I didn't get to enjoy everything here. I had the suite and there was plenty room for me but also plenty of room for a husband & wife and kid(s) on the fold out couch. Awesome shower and sizable kitchen. While I was here during the winter and could not use the outside patio, I cannot wait to come back when the weather is clear to use/entertain in the outdoor spaces. There is a gas grill, fire pit, and other outdoor spaces for use while staying. The indoor small pool looked clean and the workout room suitable. Breakfast was above par for the discount business hotel models. There was a handful of items in the pantry for sale with reasonable prices. Restaurant/bar within walking distance and the mall with a ton of variety is within a 2 minute drive and everything else is quite convenient if you are in this side of the city. There is a light-rail station just up the road (walking) but I don't know if it's open yet or not. I enjoyed my stay and will stay again. read more

Great place if you don't want simple amenities like cold drinks, ice, or vending machines. The reason they skimp on the basics is that they are "ecofriendly". Bull. They do not provide clean glassware for multi night guest, instead, the cleaning staff put the glasses in the dishwasher. Washing two glasses in a dishwasher is very ecofriendly. The first morning, the maid knocked on the door at 8:30 am. My wife was still sleeping. We didn't get a sheet change. This morning someone burned a bagel in the lobby kitchen. A smoke detector went off which automatically set off an alarm causing a building wide evacuation. The first nite we were there, they decided to close the sundry supply store for painting. I needed some Tylenol and wound up driving all over a unfamiliar city for an all nite market, The free breakfast was excellent and the coffee is very good, 85 bucks a nite doesn't entitle me to the Waldorf Astoria. I do know that if we stayed at the motel 6, I could get a cold drink. The physical plant is drop dead beautiful. The rooms have full kitchens which is nice if you want to cook your own meals. If this were an Extended Stay type of place with weekly rates mazaltov. I thought I was checking into a standard hotel. Silly me. It is very unfortunate that the Westin hotels decided that they could pinch pennies with the amenities. They are probably right. People under 50 have generally been programmed to be docile little sheeple and accept what they are given. I remember better days. One time, in a place far far away, hotel operators made a real effort to give people their money's worth. Westin saved a few bucks and hypocritically labeled their stinginess as ecology. I am in love with this hotel. Heads up: if you like healthy, clean, eco-friendly businesses - this is your spot. I am vegan/sometimes vegetarian, and I try really hard to incorporate as many eco-friendly practices as possible. The hotel is clean, decorated very modern, and the government rate price is an unbeatable value. I've never done laundry in a hotel before, but it was so easy, simple and clean - I did here. They have bikes available to cruise around on too. The always fresh water and coffee in the lobby have glasses and mugs to use so you don't ha e to throw away endless paper cups (although they have that option if you need). I have seen NO straws. Yay! If you forgot your water bottle, they have s'well bottles for ya. The food available to purchase include lots of vegetarian options and healthy drinks, including kombucha. My only hope is that this chain will continue to expand. Oh, and the kitchenette and bar in room are awesome. read more
