Alex greeted me and I showed him exactly what I searching for. He gave all the details regarding the Del Rio pebbles that I was interested in. Last week, I went in ready to make my purchase and met Jasson. I showed him photos of the area to be filled in and asked for his estimation of how much I would truly need. I didn't want to get to much because I had nowhere to store extra stones. His estimate was 8 bags. I purchased 5 just to make sure while planning to buy extra bags if needed. His estimation was right on the money! After laying the 5 bags I had purchased, 3 more was the exact fit. Unfortunately, when I picked up the remaining 3 bags and brought them home, I discovered that that wrong stones had been bagged and immediately called Balboa Brick. They were perfectly amazing as they easily swapped out the wrong stones for the right ones. Jasson and Alex are, by far, the best dudes! And, I will be back!

Added plus, they can provide labor for the installation. Got the lead foreman to come out, walked the job, some sprinkler lines needed to get re-routed. Determined what additional materials were needed and got a fixed price. Job took 4 days, with some added work to it, no change in the pricing. Guys were ez to work with, clean, and best part, on time. What will make the project flow, is knowing and have a good idea on what you want. Do all your up front work first!

No identifying marks -- unless you knew where to look. The first woman dismissed me right away, saying they don't carry those parts. The man next to her took the part and went straight to his computer and searched it out. Found it. Amazing! He clearly knew what he was doing; she was clearly a DEI hire. Turns out they don't carry the part, but he found a place that does and printed out that information. Smart customer service. When I went exploring for a door, another store guy saw my lost look, guided me straight to the right aisle and was right on target, including suggestions. So I'm a big fan and would go back, being careful to avoid the DEI hires, of course.

Valley Builders Supply does answer their phone promptly and the owner carries it with him even when he's driving the forklift or tractor!
