I first met Sachi a YGSF training in Ayurveda. Her diligence in her teachings and vastness of knowledge kept me engaged. Needless to say, I have taken as many of her trainings as I can! I first met Sachi through a YGSF training in Ayurveda. Sachi is very knowledgeable and shares that knowledge with all of her students. Her presentations and trainings are invaluable and she makes them easy to understand and teaches us how to relate them to ourselves. I later decided to work with Sachi one-on-one through her Foundations of Health program. The one-on-one work help me take the ayurvedic knowledge I was introduced to and implement that into the lifestyle changes I wanted to make. About a year later I was having a minor health challenge. (Minor in the sense that it wouldn't kill me, major as it required major changes to my diet and environment.) My western medical doctors told me it could only be treated by conventional medicine and that there was no "holistic" or "natural" way to treat the condition. So I contact Sachi for advice, she changed my life, she pointed me in the direction I need to go. The information she gave me was exactly what I was looking for. The changes I needed to make were radical to me because I am a total foodie and love FOOD! So in the beginning, I was very sad that I was going to be restricted from eating some of my favorite foods. After I removed foods that were causing inflammation, I felt better and I didn't really miss them as much as I thought I was going to. Sachi Doctor is truly one of a kind. I'm so fortunate to have experienced her products (teas), workshops, and meditation classes! As an Indian-American, I've been introduced to Ayurveda by my parents and grandparents but I had a hard time connecting this ancient practice to my urban on-the-go lifestyle. With all the health issues I have had these last five years: Chronic Pancreatitis, chronic pain, and a huge hernia. I researched and researched a way that I could reach my optimal health. I have worked with Sachi as a student in her ayruvedic trainings and workshops. I have found that Sachi is so caring and compassionate. I know some people get frustrated with the "it depends" answer but please don't. Sachi gives this answer to many questions because it really does depend. The chai spiced honey is a great way to make a simple cup of black tea come alive with exotic fragrance and warmth. I love using it in my milk tea every day, or just drizzle a bit in a cup of hot water to soothe a sore throat. It has even made an appearance at the dessert table in form of a glaze for an orange spice cake, as an ingredient in muffins and tea cakes. The possibilities contained in this little bottle of sweetness are endless! The pitta tea is another favorite of mine with the hint rose. I can't tell you how much I appreciate Sachi. I have dabbled in yoga many many years ago but have been riddled with injuries (not enough yoga?) and I have a mind like a cricket, so it's hard to sit still and focus.
