When I went in for a highlight, I used her special from her website for an $85 highlight. She did a highlight and a low light. I asked for very thin foils to go along the part line instead of perpendicular and she did just that. I also asked for Ash only color because my hair has red undertones. Most hairstylists look at me and think, or a natural will be fine and do that instead, but Martha listened to me and only used Ash color. She was amazing and made me feel beautiful! When we were talking I told her that I had a hot date with my hubby that night, and so she styled my hair for my night out. My husband loved it! Two big thumbs up. FYI Also, she recently moved locations to San Antonio into Lisa Michaels Salon. Her website is updated, but Google still send you to her old location on San Pedro. The nice gals there tried calling her and texting her but she didn't respond. I received a call from her at 11:30 and she advised me that she was having an allergic reaction to some gloves she wore and couldn't work. She wanted to send me proof and I told her no, but thanked her for calling me and hung up. Next thing you know, she's texting me pictures of her hand and telling me, "look what I'm dealing with," as though I should be more understanding toward her condition. While I do sympathize with her, it is unprofessional to accept appointments if you're not going to show up, especially when your client lives an hour away! I will never recommend Laura to anyone, but would gladly recommend her coworkers! They were awesome!

I came to Mary with damaged hair from my last stylist, here in Santa Fe. I've been to Mary 3 times now and my hair and my hair is getting healthier with each visit and that's not easy to do when you're recuperating, yet still coloring, damaged hair.
