I was designing upgraded engagement and wedding rings for my 25th anniversary and had originally hired a high-end retail jeweler to make them. Around the same time, that jeweler replaced the battery in my watch but then told me the watch still wasn't keeping time and would cost approximately $1,200 to repair. That made me decide to pause everything and get a second opinion. That is how I found Amir, and I am so glad I did! From the moment I met him, I knew Amir was the real deal. His shop isn't a traditional jewelry store filled with finished pieces and elaborate displays. Instead, you see molds and examples of the custom work he creates. It quickly became clear that Amir is the craftsman behind the scenes; the person actually MAKING the beautiful jewelry that many retail jewelers sell. First, the watch: Amir replaced the battery, and it worked perfectly. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the watch, and no $1,200 repair was needed. He didn't even charge me for the battery. That alone told me everything I needed to know about his honesty and integrity. Then I showed him the designs for my anniversary rings. Amir was able to make BOTH rings for 50% LESS than what I had been quoted by the high-end retail jeweler. Amir is an exceptional communicator. Throughout the process, he sent me images, listened carefully to what I wanted, made adjustments based on my feedback, and made sure I was completely comfortable with the design before creating the rings. The entire process took less than three weeks, and the finished rings are absolutely beautiful. The craftsmanship is top-notch. Amir is a true artist and clearly takes enormous pride in his work. I also love that Jax Jewelers House is a family business. Amir works alongside his wife and adult children, and you can tell that the entire family takes pride in the business and in taking care of their customers. It makes the experience feel personal in a way you just don't get at a large retail jewelry store. It is rare to find someone who combines this level of talent, craftsmanship, honesty, communication, and fair pricing.
