The guys working there were very friendly and polite, but the owner was not clear at all about the gold buying price. I asked twice and he kept avoiding the question. On top of that, to pay me less, he claimed one of my rings wasn't gold, even though I know exactly what jewelry I own and it had already been appraised by two jewelers years ago. Last year, I got engaged, and received a beautiful ring that hasn't left my finger since. However, that has led to me accidentally losing a stone. I had previously looked into other nearby jewelry repair locations, and they quoted me a large amount ($500-600) to have the repairs I wanted done, like thickening the band so that it was secure, going up a size, and replacing that stone. Premier Jewelers offered a much more feasible price for me, and did a fantastic job. My ring looks just as good as it did on the day my fiancé proposed. Owners are nice, decent prices, not happy with ring soldering, I came in just before my wedding in March 2017 to get my wedding band and engagement ring (both were ordered from online jewelers) and to get them soldered together. I came in at lunch to drop off the rings and picked them up that afternoon. Although the price was decent and the staff was friendly, my engagement ring and wedding band were soldered crooked. So know the engagement ring sits off center from the wedding band which almost defeats the purpose of soldering them together if it's permanently crooked. I didn't go back after this due to not having enough funds to have them redo the solder if they even could re-solder it. read more

This place is amazing. My fiancé and I went in to get my wedding ring sized and they did it the same day. I've never heard of such a thing usually people send it out for 2 to 3 weeks before you get it back. Not only was it done quickly the jeweler was in store and you could see him working on it. It only took about an hour for him to complete and he did an amazing job. The cost was low and we didn't even purchase our ring from him. I was referred to this store as a trusted place to sell gold and jewelry. I was not steered wrong. They were very nice and helpful. While there I had them repair a necklace, which was a very sentimental piece. Not only did they give me a fair price, but had it done in about 2 hours so I wouldn't have to go very long without it. He also gave me suggestions on how to safely sell my diamond rings (although they do buy diamonds also), and offered to have me come into his shop with a buyer to assist in the transaction. Took them $7,000 to $8,000 worth of jewelry to sell. Offered $1,100. Seller beware!!! Ridiculous!!! My jewelry was purchased from a reputable jeweler which is still in business, not from a mall store. The diamond ring was a custom made piece of jewelry with an oval diamond which he claimed was less than 1 ct. The diamond was purchased from the reputable Levy Jewelers in Savannah with certified gemologist and diamond buyers, later appraised by a different certified gemologist in Hilton Head and again by the owner/jeweler (40 yrs experience as a jeweler) of The Goldsmith in Palm Coast to be over a carat. The ring was custom made by the owner of The Goldsmith. The guy at Premier wanted to take my ring apart. Wouldn't trust him to have the skill to set a floating diamond. Just proceed with caution!!! In addition to this custom ring, I had a gold bracelet, 2 gold chains, 1/2 ct loose diamond and a sapphire ring. Just use caution!!! And, all businesses have overhead expenses to pay. Price of diamonds: 0.75 Carat$1,810 - $8,800,1.00 Carat $1,910 - $15,650. Even though he didn't believe it was a over a carat, a .75 was worth more than the whole batch of jewelry he gave me a price on. Price of gold: Gold Price Per Ounce $1,810.50. Like I said...seller beware! Wants you to believe it's scrap! read more

I was looking for a place to get my wedding set remade and refurbished. After 40 years I thought it needed a little polish. I had gone to other jewelers in the area and just wasn't what I was looking for. Also, was a little hesitant to leave my prize possession. I stopped in this store and was completely impressed with the ideas and suggestions they offered. I decided on an upgraded diamond and had the setting changed a bit, but still the same ring set. It is so beautiful and I couldn't be more pleased. The store staff was a pleasure to work with. They also offer 12 month no interest financing so I did some early Christmas shopping.
