They could not have been nicer! I went in and was greeted immediately by the sweetest woman. I showed her how my engagement ring was stuck and needed help. She immediately helped with options and when those didn't work because my fingers were so swollen, she offered to help me get the ring cut. They don't charge for this service and knew I was visiting so I wouldn't be getting it resized/buying anything, and everyone in the store still gave me the best customer service until the moment I walked out the door. Couldn't be happier with Gregory's Jewelers. Very welcoming environment. Local, family owned and operated. Not a stuffy place like those chain or corporate owned stores. Frank helped us through the engagement ring and diamond selection wonderfully. He was patient and very knowledgeable. Spent time with us to get the ring the we wanted, not the ring he wanted us in. I had the pleasure of chatting with the daughter in law, who was friendly and didn't mind a bit that I was browsing and not in the market to purchase anything. They array of services they offer is great too! From designer jewelry to watch batteries, they do it all. One thing I thought was cool was the custom pieces they make. Bring in a photo or drawing of a piece of jewelry and they will scan it, bring it up on a cad program and tweak it right there with you. Then they will make it on site. Big bonus in my book. This isn't a rating on their jewelry- it's a rating on their service the days I tried to go in to get my necklace repaired. Their business hours state they close at 5 pm, I went twice at 4:30, and they had locked the doors. There was a woman inside who saw me both times (30 mins before closing) and chose to ignore me. I also called and got no answer. I know customers who come during closing time can be a hassle, but when you have a job all you can do sometimes is go towards closing hours.. and customers should be your #1 priority. read more
