Robert is super knowledgeable and has a lot of sports background, so if you're active and in the market for someone awesome...he's your guy. Highly recommend steering far clear of the monthly membership, it's just as bad as a gym membership when trying to cancel. They'll continue to charge for months after saying it was cancelled, and when you readdress the issue/charges they will try to run through every option to get you to stay until you finally put your foot down and demand a cancellation. Once they finally approve it they'll lie to you and tell you inaccurate timeframes on how long you have to use your remaining unused credits and then slip in a significantly sooner final use dates that contradict what they said to keep the peace. Wasn't even given 2 months to use our unused credits, effectively just taking hundreds of dollars from us without providing anything back. The owner likes to say cancellation was initiated in late December except we had been requesting for cancellation since mid November and kept getting charged and given the run around to squeeze and extra couple hundred bucks by delaying the process. read more

I've been going to this location for a couple of years now. Yesterday I was in Room 1 and there was construction happening on the door to the hallway. Needless to say, this was not relaxing as I laid there listening to pounding, drilling, and a full hour of noise. The therapist (Haley) apologized and was nice but when I checked out I complained. Whoever was working offered to add an upgrade to a future appointment (like aroma therapy?). I don't want an upgrade, I want my hour back. They stated they would tell the manager but I highly doubt that this happened. Nobody has called me or offered to make this right. Why wouldn't you move me to a room at the back away from the construction? Not a fun way to spend a day off. My prior appointment was also a joke as the face cradle cover was filthy. There were so many wonderful benefits to getting a massage. Elements is a calm and serene environment that specializes in caring for their clients. I had a gift card and was able to add on a free hot stone treatment for my birthday. What I didn't realize was that the email promo was from a different location but this location honored the promo. My therapist was friendly and was very kind even though she had some difficulty with the table at first. She was professional and made sure I was comfortable at all times. I was told each studio is owned and operated by a individual , so with that being said I would think that they would understand certain things come up out of our control, but even though I have explained my daughter has medical issues, has undergone two major surgeries with in just a few months apart. As well as now I am moving , she has not once expressed any concern for anything else but the contract , that I need to have a 30 day notice, as well as my payment will be processed so I can then utilize it else where. Honestly , do you think this is my priority!!!! Do you have any feelings ??? No I'm sorry to hear about your daughter? Just make sure you get that payment in ! Wow !! If these are individually owned then shame on this owner for having a staff member who clearly lacks in every department other than being money hungry ! If I could give this place 0, I would. Last time I went in I waited over an hour past my massage time to even get into my appt. Front desk was rude and had terrible customer service. No one said anything to me until I told them I wanted my money back and I was leaving. Within the next week, I told them I was cancelling my membership and they told me I was good to go, charged me the cancellation fee. Now fast forward a couple months later, they charged my husbands card another $70 and are refusing to give my money back because their front desk doesn't know how to do their job properly. *update* *UPDATE* After posting a 1 star Yelp review this afternoon, one of the owners contacted me. We were able to compromise. I had 2 prepaid massages on my account I hadn't used. They kept one as a "termination fee" and refunded me the other. There were other terrible options purposed, this one was the least costly option to me. I increased the star rating from 1 to 3 because the owner did reach out to talk. So, elements massage in chandler is ridiculous. I've tried to cancel my membership for almost a year, kept suspending my account after having my son instead,because they kept threatening to take away one of the massages I've already paid for. Now going through a pandemic, I do not feel comfortable going in for a massage. Got an email today that it would resume. Called to cancel and the manager kept contradicting herself. First it was they would keep one massage as payment , then it turned into both of the massages as payment. Stated I needed 30 day notice but they only gave me 10 day notice that my account was resuming so I didn't have a chance to give 30 day notice. Then it was settled but only because they are taking yet another payment just to send me 3 gift cards that I'm not going to use because I don't feel comfortable going there during a pandemic! I've had a personal trainer in the past and Abel was every bit as knowledgeable and thorough with stretching hammies, calves, deltoids, neck, glutes, as my trainer was. Husband purchased a one hour massage gc for my birthday per my request. $89. I noticed they have a $69 introductory massage for first timers. So when I arrive, I ask if I can do the $69 rate since it was my first time. She said I could so I did a 90 min instead since a 90 minute would cost me only $10 more. I have had several discussions with them about this and they have agreed that my membership has been terminated. Yet every month they charge me. Worst experience - avoid this location. Other locations are much better. I had booked myself a lovely birthday massage at Elements Massage - Chandler West. I have a membership there, just a few months old, for the most expensive package they offer and I was super looking forward to that on my birthday. Left work early and everything. I walk in, start walking back with the therapist and politely ask if she'll please put on a mask for my session (which I didn't think twice about because they have had a mask policy all along). She says no. I was stunned and thought maybe I'd misheard so asked to clarify, and she said no she will not wear a mask and she will walk me back up to the lobby to leave. Once in the lobby, I was still baffled and told the manager who was sitting at the reception desk that I guess I'm leaving because the therapist refuses to wear a mask and she said, "Oh! I'm sorry, I didn't know that, but I don't like to make decisions, so yeah, I can cancel your appointment." HUH?!?!?! All that to say, avoid this location. Even if you are more flexible about basic health protection in a tiny room during a pandemic, a "you can just leave" approach to customer service and a management style that includes "I don't like to make decisions" is absolutely crazy. God forbid there's ever a serious customer need, request or issue - seems they won't be willing to help. What's more, I had just gifted massages to a couple other friends, so I gave them the heads up and when they called to ask, the manager said therapists will accommodate requests. So then I called back to figure out why there were so many mixed messages, and in fact she had LIED to my friend and clarified that IF someone calls and speaks to her first, she can help them make an appointment with a therapist who will wear a mask. Who in the world has time for that kind of hassle and inconvenience?! For the record, I called a couple other locations of this franchise and was told of course every therapist would wear a mask if requested. Massages were charged to his credit card, but he was not able to use them because it was past 30 days after he cancelled his membership. Talked to manager to try to get this resolved, and all she said was sorry it wasn't explained to him but it is in the contract. He can't get the massages or his money back! Upon arriving in I sat down because I noticed the two front desk girls were on their phones so I waited until they were done and acknowledged me which was a couple minutes. She did a quick consultation before the session, asked me my preferences, my daily routine, and any impact areas. First couple of minutes into the massage, she made quick adjustments to her technique to match my level of comfort. Front desk was welcoming and was ready for my arrival. Very professional, clean, relaxing and organized. The girl at the front desk made sure I was comfortable and offered me water as I waited for my masseuse. I was greeted by Ramona who was very welcoming. I felt like I wasn't a first time client, she was just herself & that made me feel very relaxed. My full body massage was great!! I loved their prenatal massage table because it has that cut out of your baby belly which makes it super comfortable! Ramona was great and she made sure that I liked the pressure of the massage. Ending my visit, the front desk lady informed me of their wellness program. Unlike other spas, they didn't require you sign a contract. The price was very reasonable and best of all it's just a month to month membership. So if I find my finances come rough, I can cancel or put my account on hold. The services were not worth the price tag so I canceled membership. Filled out the necessary forms etc. a few months go by and I'm still being charged. I call and ask what's going on, I was told since the money was pulled out ( without authorization) I could schedule the sessions and the account would be closed. First, why would I book sessions when the service sucks? Second, I was charged without authorization and then told they couldn't give me MY money back why would I want to go into this shady business again? Now that I have disputed the charges I was informed by Amanda that I would have to reverse it with my bank (give them the money back they took from me after canceling) to cancel the account or they will keep charging my card every month!!!
