My husband and I are both members of Elements massage. We've been getting 2-3 massages a year for the last four years. This is my first time to write a review. I have not had a bad experience at Elements. My husband had a below average experience once a couple of years ago, but the therapist no longer works there. Today I had Cateena as my therapist. She was fabulous! She gave just the right amount of pressure and heat with the hot rocks. She spent extra time rubbing my feet and scalp. Just finished an amazing 90-minute massage from Tony. Wow! That was the fastest 90-minute massage. Came out refreshed.

This place has excellent food! But you might have to wait to be seated no matter what time you go, but it's worth the wait!

This is not my usual massage spot but they have awesome reviews and it not far from the house. Don't let the strip mall vibe deter you because once inside it a beautiful, relaxing place. The decor was simple and the customer service was great. Since it was my first time, I complete the standard questionnaire; it's ok to touch here, not ok to touch there, etc. Once completed, I was offered a bottled water as I waited. I booked online and it was very easy, I arrived, as requested, a few minutes earlier to complete the new client form. Let's get to it I wish I had images of the room but if course, my phone died, ugh The room was cozy and the massage therapist, Mia was amazing. I requested lavender to fill the room during the massage and let me tell ya it was incredible. Mia did an amazing job and I slip off to sleep before I knew it. When she was finished, she gently let me know I could exit the room, at my leisure. There is no high pressure sales before or after to buy products or add upgrades to my service. I definitely, highly recommend Mia. Especially if it's your first massage, she makes you feel very comfortable and you will leave there feeling amazing. She focuses on the problem areas and it very easy going. After I settled the bill at the front desk, I was walking on sunshine. Best massage I've ever had! I'm an athlete and require a specific deep tissue and sports massage. I've been to many massage places and spas that claim to do deep tissue / sports massage but by far elements and specifically Mark rivaled them all. When I looked back home I typically use the same therapist for 10 years and my experience @ elements equaled or may have slightly rivaled (based on price-point) of my regular Therapist! The manager called me today, about a month after the incident that have me leave my negative review. She said she didn't call sooner because she wasn't aware of what happened but had just come across my review and wanted to call to see about making things right. Disappointed. Here in Mobile for our sons wedding and decided on a massage to alleviate some stress on our one down day with nothing scheduled. When I made the apptmt, I specifically requested deep tissue for both me and my wife but what I received wasn't even close. It was more like a soft rub with oil. I even asked the therapist during the massage to increase the pressure on my neck and shoulders where I was knotted up and she never even responded, not a word. Nor did she increase the pressure. FIND ANOTHER PLACE!!! DO NOT GO!!! Called.... made an appointment and the following day while eating with family and friends. One of the most RUDEST, MOST UNPROFESSIONAL lady. By the name of Dawn calls me with the most driest disposition I've ever encountered from anyone in the Spa Industry. So I am taking this as a blessing in disguise... if this company hires people that nasty to represent them before entering the establishment... imagine how nasty they would have handled my body. I never review anything on here so it has to be good for me to take time to review....Celeste has been performing my massages and though I cancelled my membership over a year ago, I decided to return for some prenatal massages during my third trimester. I told her about my son being breech at my last Dr's appt and told her to work any magic she may know of. I'm not sure if the massage was the thing to make him turn but she tried all kinds of awesome things to help me out and sure enough the next day at my dr he had turned! A+! read more

In November I had a massage by Laura. With a herniated disk, it is difficult to find someone that can give the kind of massage that is needed. As reflected in my rating, I walked out on a cloud. I was so impressed that I joined the 'once a month' massage program. Their program is the least restrictive and most enticing program that I have found. It will help me schedule time for 'me'. Also, I have rather severe fragrance and skin allergies. They don't really advertise it but they do not have the candles and other fragrances filling the air. I also had no reaction to the lotion. This was my first professional massage. My boyfriend opted to purchase the hot rock massage as a gift and it was absolutely amazing. The masseuse offered to lower the temp of the rocks if I found them to be too hot. I just tried to relax as the rocks slid over my tense muscles lubricated by a wonderfully fragrant mixture of nut oils. I felt so relaxed afterward and my boyfriend kept telling me how soft my skin felt and how good I smelled. Would love to have one of these every month! *wink wink* read more

Overall great experience at elements. Booked at the last minute, just a few hours before the massage but the customer service was excellent and I was able to squeeze in for a 60 min deep tissue massage with Joanna. She was great. Quiet for most of the massage except to check the pressure and how I was feeling. She gave one of the better massages I've ever had, and I get them frequently all over the place. I was a member for several years and still occasionally visit. There are some spectacular therapists but it can be hit or miss. It's best if you find someone (or two) you like and stick with them. The membership is a good deal if you get massage regularly but I had trouble getting appointments when I wanted them. If you are not a member, however, it is expensive; you can probably get better service for the price somewhere else. For example, if you are getting a hit or miss therapist at full price you might as well go to Battlehouse and get free drinks, a sauna, a hot tub and a free shower in a more luxurious setting for the same price. read more

Not only did she walk in smelling like an ash tray, she talked throughout the entire time where I could not enjoy my relaxing massage. First off, the massage was great. She had perfect pressure and good communication. I wish I could see her elsewhere. Everything else was not enjoyable. Loud talking and doors slamming throughout the massage. They would not honor either of the Yelp coupons I presented. (I was not trying to use both at the same time.) They could not figure out how to use my gift card even though called ahead to make sure they accepted Spaweek cards. After my massage, they tried to tell me they didn't accept it. I informed them that they are advertised on the Spa Week website and had the same gift cards from other clients sitting on their desk. They asked for my cc info and said they'd call me back the next day to sort it out. No one ever called, so I called them and they had no idea what I was talking about. I see they charged my cc on my bank statement today, but I would have appreciated a call and a receipt. read more
