Love coming here! Ive had a few massages here with different therapists and always leave feeling so much better. My favorite time to come is in the morning, before I do anything else and can feel relaxed and chill the rest of the day. And of course, I gotta do the 90 min sessions whenever possible so I actually feel like I wound down. Worst desk associate. I called for appointment and showed up 15 mins early as it was my first time. She didnt mention its gonna be male thrapist on phone and now she saying if i leave they would charge me late cancellation fee. I came for a post-partum massage, asked for a health accomodation, manager flip-flopped on accomodating, then tried to hold me at the location, basically gouging me for $50. It was pretty offensive. It made for a terribly uncomfortable experience. After speaking to the owner who was apologetic, I didn't ask for a refund, I simply asked for an apology from the manager which the owner said she could arrange and said was very reasonable. After ending the conversation, I get an email, the manager is refusing to apologize. You heard it right. I called to speak to the owner, guess who picks up, rude manager and she continued to be rude. This location is unapologetic. Do not go here unless you want to be mistreated. read more

The massage therapists that I had were good, however, my rating of 1 star is more on the customer service part. Having a membership for 2 years and continuing during the beginning of the pandemic, I thought showed a loyalty to local franchises during rough time. Unfortunately, none of this matters. We cancelled our membership as we weren't taking advantage of the sessions. There were unused sessions which I was told I could come in and get a gift card prior to their deadline. I talked to their representative who ensured me the card would be there. Of course it wasn't and the lady at the front desk wasn't trying to help AT ALL. She didn't try to help or speak to a manager, all she did was confirm my account and that I had unused sessions. I would think you would try a little harder for a member that has invested in helping pay your salary... read more

I rarely post a negative review, but today I will. I went to cancel my membership at Elements Massage in Richmond after several issues. The first time I arrived at the Richmond Elements location no one was there-it was locked during hours, many times the receptionist is not at the front when you arrive (I waited five minutes 2-3 times), since I started going to this location, there have been several different receptionists, and last people rarely answer the phone. Please do no waste your money at this or the sugar Land location. The MANAGER is terrible. read more

They have a couple of really good massage therapists but very limited availability. I joined based on a recommendation from a friend and they've had no availability to get me in for a deep tissue for over a week. I now have two monthly charges for massages I am unable to use due to their limited availability. The last massage I had there was an additional upcharge of $10 for that therapist ($69 monthly, additional $10, plus $20 gratuity) so it really isn't a great value to be a monthly regular. I asked to cancel and was told I must come in and fill out the necessary paperwork in order to do so. read more

Set up an appointment for myself and a friend we both live about an hour away from Richmond in different directions and wanted to "meet in the middle" to celebrate our birthdays. Unfortunately the weather reported flooding, etc for the day so I called to reschedule, I was told that to cancel there was a charge for the session & I was charged $80. I told Diego the one who scheduled the appt to begin with I was not aware of the fee, he said it was in the email they sent which I never opened. I would think that the policy should be mentioned at time of scheduling when the credit card was requested which it was not! To add insult to injury Diego wanted to know when we would like to reschedule our appt after charging me $80, I replied hell no, why would I? read more

I had a fever and was sick. I had an appt at 10 am. After being up most of the night I woke up at 8:30. I called immediately and left a message to let them know I was sick and wouldn't be coming so I wouldn't get anyone sick. I looked at my bank acct and they had charged me $40. When I called the receptionist told me I was charged because I didn't call 24 hrs before my appt, even though I wasn't sick 24 hrs before my appt. Obviously they don't care about their customers as much as their customers care about them. Didn't even ask if I was ok. I am cancelling my membership today!!!! I wouldn't go there if I were you. If they are forcing people to keep appts even when they are sick do you really want to risk catching something. My dog groomer didn't charge me for cancelling his appt this morning and actually told me she hoped I feel better soon. read more

Complete rip off! While the actual service deserves more than 1 star the company deserves less. When the company sends an e-mail to a customer saying they have not been loyal enough and they TAKE your credit on your account, one assumes the business contract is over. But nope, they take an additional charge on your credit card and refuse to give it back. When you express your frustration you are met with an email saying that you have 60 days to use the money they had just taken and your previous credit is still gone. To be clear this is $240 they just kept. Knowing that half of it is not something the customer could obtain to use due to moving out of the area. Never sign anything with them. Cash only otherwise you might be next. read more

First time getting a massage here and I loved it! The receptionist (Lauren I think) was so sweet and friendly. I came in early to fill out forms and we just talked until it was time for me to go in. Gabby my masseuse was great and very attentive. This was the first massage place I've been to that had a heated massage table and while I can see the appeal, I personally didn't like it. As soon as Gabby walked in though she asked if the table was a comfortable temperature and I just asked her to turn it down a bit. She was great at focusing on my "problem" areas while still not forgetting about everywhere else. She kept the pressure firm and consistent throughout the hour. Make the story short, waited about 15-20 min. receptionist told me I would have to pay a $40 non member fee in order to use the gift card since I'm not a member there so I agreed to go ahead and pay. wasted a total of 20-25 min. altogether. I asked the girl to see if the owner would pro-rate my min. while getting my massage but she said the owner never got back with her. I've been going to Yanelis for several months now for a medium-to-deep tissue massage. I work at a computer desk all day long and hold a lot of stress/tension in my back as a result. Gabby is gone. Everyone else is meh and you are NEVER given a full hour massage. You get a 40-45 min max massage .You have to wait 10 min to get in to your appointment and then they end you 5-10min early for their next appointment. Then when you want to cancel at 9:30am on the 1st they will still want to charge you for the next month! HA! This company does not care about their clients and in my opinion doesn't care for their staff. massages are booked back to back ! It is evident they are only worried about the business.
