I recently cancelled my membership for these primary reasons: 1. An 80-minute massage for $99 is not really a great deal compared to the market (which is typically 90 minutes). BUT Elements 80 minute massage is actually 65-70 minutes depending on whether your therapist is running behind schedule. 2. I don't like being hustled for tips. Plates on the bed when you walk in, signs posted about how much you should leave, and a call out to you when you're nice and relaxed and leaving to find out whether you want to leave a tip. When you already left it in the envelope provided on the bed before the massage even started. 3. Out of 3 therapists I tried, one of them gave a good massage. 4. When you cancel your membership before one year, you end up buying another massage that you don't get to receive. I don't like gimmicks and sneaky business practices. I'll take a salon that is serious about the massage they supply and leaves everything else to it's natural order. read more

Not only did they find a spot for me right away, it was with one of their Therapists who specialize in the sort of issues I've been having. I am a therapist myself with years of experience, who has previously done the hiring at my studio so i can tell you i am very picky with who massages me. Just got home from Elements massage.. Very good service and very friendly staff. I enjoyed the massage more than I thought I would. I'm now just relaxing on the couch and I can't move anything but my thumb.. Yelps calling me a wizard... Anywho.. The woman who massaged me was named Cynthia and she was great! I would recommend her if you have shoulder/neck pain. The place itself was very clean, organized, and roomy. When I got into the massage room, it was the same, very clean and roomy. When I started my massage, Cynthia asked me where I'd like to be massaged at and I told her my neck, my back, and my calves. She did a perfect job on my neck, shoulders, and calves. I do wish she did my lower part of my back but it's no big deal after how good she did on everything else. If there is one thing that is holding me back from coming here again, is that the price for one hour massage is $99. Also keep in mind, if you went from 1-2, it would start around 1:10 and end around 1:50. So you have time to talk with the consultant and get undressed/dressed. I just want to say that I personally feel that a massage place in Simi Valley shouldn't be $100 a massage. I feel like that's a price Westlake or Newburry park would charge, not in Simi Valley. Booked an hour long session with Pearl and had an excellent experience! I'd been to Elements before and always walked out relaxed and refreshed. This time I asked for the massage to be more focused on problem areas, and that's exactly what I got. The massage was at a medium depth into the tissue that wasn't a chore to undergo. Pearl asked me questions about the other forms of therapy I opt for, provided suggestions based on what she saw, then explained her reasoning by showing it through the massage (squeezing one area that was tenser than another, for example). I love this location! I always feel welcomed when checking in. I am a member here and get a massage usually twice a month. Alex is my masseuse and she is so thorough. She always asks how I'm feeling and does an assessment (asking if any particular part of my body hurts, or if she wants me to focus on anything in particular). I really appreciate that as my I deal with chronic pain and often times, different parts of my body are in different types of pain. She is a great listener and is extremely professional. During my massage she will ask at the begging if the pressure is okay. This location really focuses on customer service and they genuinely care about their customers. The location is always very clean and relaxing. I love this place and recommend it to anyone I know who needs massage of any kind. They offer aroma therapy and hot stone massage as well. As luck would have it Whitney was available when I walked in and helped me enough that I was able to walk out and drive to work the next day.
