I went for a deep tissue massage because my husband got me a gift card. I prefered a female masseuse but that was hard to schedule for deep tissue. The guy I got was blind but was good minus some very huge issues. He consistently went over my bones including my spine. I had bruises right over my spine and hip bones. He also left me completely uncovered for the last half of the massage which was uncomfortable. I really wanted my calves worked on but he didn't make it to them. I specified this at the beginning. My husband had a similar experience where his masseuse massaged over his bones multiple times. This is not proper technique. I'm guessing they hire anyone and don't check their technique which is scary. read more

To start, my massage was ok. The therapist was nice and went over what I had asked. I'm giving the low rating because it's so loud. The other therapists and clients were practically yelling in the halls and in their rooms. I know the walls are thin but, couldn't they whisper? The person next to us slammed something against the wall so hard I literally jumped. Not relaxing at all. I will probably cancel my membership because of this. This is the third massage I have gotten and it is always loud. Every other place I've been to had signs that asked clients to speak in a quiet voice to not disturb other clients. Went here recently for a massage on a whim. They are very close to my chiropractor so I popped in one afternoon to see if they had any openings. Lucky for me, they had a cancellation for that evening so I made my appointment. I'm giving this place 5 stars and while I throughly enjoyed my massage, I don't think I'll be going back. I didn't realize that Elements is a similar concept to Massage Envy where they want you to sign up for a monthly massage plan as well as additional add-ons during each massage. I understand they're a business and need to make money, but I was also there to get a massage for my aching muscles and didn't want to be upsold. The good news is everyone gets $30 off their first massage, so the value the first time was excellent. read more

I'm leaving Elements a one star because the insane woman that works the front desk, has zero knowledge of business or how to actually think and handle situations that might come up in day-to-day life. For example, I was a new client and I had been gifted a $20 new client card. I forgot to bring it with me on my first appointment, but I was told I could bring it on the second visit. When I went back for the second appointment, the same girl that had told me I could use the coupon, now told me I couldn't use it because I was no longer a new client. This was five minutes before the massage was scheduled to start, forcing me to cancel, and thus costing the masseuse money. How stupid is this secretary? I've tried cancelling my membership several times over the past year with them arguing about why I should keep it and I would just give in to save the hassle but twice now I've gone in and signed the stupid form to cancel membership and here we are STILL getting charged. I tried to cancel when I was gone for Army training (several months ago) and nope "gotta sign the form" but I still have now twice and here we are. Also, my past two massages have been cut short. Paid for 60 minutes and gotten 40-45. Example: massage at 9am., arrive at 8:45, get taken back at 9:06 and on the table finally at 9:10, then I was back in my car by 9:50 (Which included therapist talking to me, getting dressed, and saying bye to the receptionist) Crazy I thought my massage would last from 9-10am. read more

Honestly the best massage I have had. The surge of energy I have had since I got the massage has been amazing. I was paired with Allan for my first massage. In my experience with massage, mid massage is the best and then it fades out the last half. This was more of a physical therapy type of massage and he literally listened to my body, joints & muscles and tuned in to the right movements and pressure needed. With each new area that Allan started on, EVERYTIME was like the BEST part. He seriously did some kind of voodoo on my feet! He was fully invested in this massage...for 2 HOURS!!! Elements may give the best massages in the world, but I wouldn't know because their website and scheduling procedures suck. I tried to request an appointment a few days prior to today and their appointment request system would not work. I know it wasn't that they were booked because I tried to request for all this week and it wouldn't work. I even went months into the future and nada. But today, there are numerous vacancies throughout this week. It appears that their system just wasn't working. I got up this morning and there were two slots available, 9:00 and and 10:00. I requested the 9:00 am slot at about 7:00 am and waited to hear something. I periodically logged in and checked my e-mail for a status update until about 15 minutes before my requested time, when I headed to their location. I figure, if someone has already requested that time slot, it wouldn't still be showing up for other people to request. WRONG. I got there and was informed that two of us requested the same time slot and the other person was first so I was SOL. Elements appears to be a franchise so I would expect a better website experience. Here's a hint for Elements: If someone requests a specific time slot for a massage, blank it out so that other people don't waste their time requesting the same slot. The staff at the location were extremely polite and apologetic, so this review does not reflect on them, only the website scheduling system. read more

They offer a wide variety of massage services and almost all the therapists I've seen seem to genuinely care and want you to leave feeling great. The massages were fine, and the staff were mostly kind and professional. My low rating is a product of the painful membership cancellation process. If you find yourself wanting to cancel your membership, you need to walk into the store and request to sign a physical form. Make sure it is YOUR name on the form-we were given a form with someone else's name on it. You sign a contract to begin membership, so it's not as simple as making a phone call to cancel. Our first attempt to cancel was done over the phone, and they said they would send us an email. The email never arrived, at least not in my inbox. I assume it was sent to spam and then auto deleted after 30 days. This assumption comes from the fact that the second time we requested an email (after we had continued to be charged) it was also sent to spam. This second email didn't even have the cancellation form attached! So, third time's the charm, we had to walk in, request a hard copy, and that finally got them to stop taking money from our account. The whole process put a sour taste in my mouth. If you end up having a problem, do not expect a refund. This is not a local business, it is a National chain. The franchise owners will, legally so, hide behind the contract and keep your cash. If I were to do it all over, I'd avoid membership and just pay the $20 markup for a one-time massage. Scheduling is a mess anyway, so the membership is hard to make full use of unless you are retired or free during the workday. God bless, and have a good one. read more

She asked me multiple times if I was doing okay and if I was comfortable, but not too many times where I got annoyed. It's only been one day and my body feels so much better!
