Massages are one of my favorite forms of self-care. I've tried different franchises in the past, and Elements blew me away! The attention to detail starts at the time of booking. The scheduler was thorough and prepared me for the appointment. When I arrived, the staff was friendly, and check-in was easy. My masseuse was Maggie, and she was awesome! She kept communication during the appointment and applied the perfect amount of pressure. According to the front desk, she is always booked, and I see why! She apologized and explained some of the issues they are having with SpaFinder. Massage therapy is such an important part of health. I have the monthly package here. It's a great price, the staff is super friendly, attentive and the environment is really relaxing. I always go and see Maggie. She's great. Everything from a relaxing massage to deep tissue. She's your go to girl! You can also add a person to your account to get your rates and enjoy massage sessions as well. Best thing is you can roll them over if you find yourself short on time. The office staff is attentive and shares their knowledge of and experience with natural healing while you wait. The space is clean and cozy. You can make several adjustments to the focus of your 1 to 1.5 hour massage. I would say it was a 5 star, because of my mom's reaction... Until I had walked in for myself, to tip and pay for her. The girl with long curly hair was the sweetest, but the man acted like he couldn't be bothered by me. I almost didn't tip, but apparently told my mom there was some type of discount given. Sterling has done the last 3 massages I've had at Elements. His technique is like tai chi - slow and methodical - and absolutely amazing! I've been to Elements once, and have already set up a weekly standing appointment with Jeff. He's gentle where he needs to be (face, hands), and uses plenty of firm pressure where it's needed, if that's what you want. They find out the pressure you want before you begin, then adjust it, if necessary, to be sure your needs are met. They have a money-back guarantee, but I don't think it's ever used, because they make sure everything is right. Their massage tables have adjustable height, so the therapist can be as effective as possible. If you join their monthly program, you save $30 each visit. You only commit yourself to one visit per month, but you can buy as many as you want at the reduced price. That brings the price lower than just about any of the other places. There are ways to earn free massages, too. The place is attractive and has a relaxing atmosphere throughout. They have hooks and hangers in the rooms, so you don't have to just drape your clothes across a chair. I chose Elements - West Chester for its location, and I'm glad I did! read more

After 3 sessions, I am already sleeping much better, my lockjaw hasn't shown up in three months and I am not sore everyday. I received a giftcard for my birthday and was really excited and nervous to go somewhere new to get my massage. I walked in and thought that the waiting area was small, but calming. We got signed up, they showed us around, and then we waited for our therapist. The person I had was amazing! she constantly checked in with me regarding her pressure, the bed was warm, the oil was great, and the music was nice. I left feeling great! read more

I scheduled a couples massage here, and after waiting 15 minutes we were told they were behind schedule. After another 10 minutes, they informed us that the previous massage went over and asked us if we would like to reschedule or take a 35 minute massage so not to affect the appointment after us. I've been a member here for more than a year. I've used about 4 - 5 different people. I always leave hurting more than I did before I came. I tell them that it needs to be lighter but I always leave in pain. I'm going to cancel my membership. read more

Had an excellent massage by Janet at Elements in West Chester this week. After a more stressful than usual month at work, a family medical emergency, and a nine-hour unplanned road trip, my shoulders were practically crunched up to my ears and my neck was painfully stiff. Janet, who is both an LMT and a PT, was thoughtful and professional, taking the time to properly assess my situation so she could focus her efforts on the right areas. She checked in periodically about pressure and comfort and was responsive to my feedback but at the same time maintained a keen focus on coaxing my neck and shoulders to settle down and relax. I felt significantly better by the end of our session and was completely good to go after a night's rest. Pretty mediocre massage therapists. The monthly "wellness" plan is not a very good deal and has some tricky language. Avoid this place.
