When I returned, the staff rushed through the entire set, leaving acrylic underneath my nails, and overall they still looked terrible. I even offered to come back the next day so they could take more time fixing them, but the lady told me no. For the amount of money I'm paying as a high school student, I expected much better quality and service. I think the salon either needs to hire better nail techs or lower their prices to match the quality they provide.

I still think Ann's is the best, and pretty much the only place I'll go for pedis (putting my feet in the bins at most nail places GROSSES me out - Ann's is always very clean). However, Ann's is always busy. No matter what day/time I go, and more than once they've started my pedi (basically just had me sit in the chair and soak) and then let me sit for 30-45 minutes before finishing it. This drives me crazy. Also, it seems like I always get assigned to one particular girl who I don't like at all - she is super rough when removing old shellac and always barks "RELAX!" at me. Uh, hello, yelling at someone is not a good way to get them to relax. Anyway, I'm sure I'll still go to Ann's from time to time, but the few bad experiences combined with the fact that it's clear across town for me means it's no longer my #1 spot. Shellac from here almost always lasts the full 2 weeks, and they have a lot more colors than some of the other places in Lincoln.
