I never have to request someone specific and worry if they're not there that day, I knew I would get a high quality manicure regardless of who did it. They are all friendly and happy. The place is clean and they practice good hygiene. I recently moved to Omaha but I would make the trip back to Lincoln just to be serviced at Bliss. Pro tip: they have a website that has those automated reservations. That no longer works. We were sitting and waiting when three ladies walked in and they had made their reservations with that. Well, that no longer works and they haven't been working for two years. So please don't make your reservations with that. That said, they have a lot of parking lots available outside the nail spa. They have a variety of nail colours, and the styles available. They have two rows set up with massage chairs for pedicures and one side for manicures. They were super gentle. And I had wonderful colours and patterns for my nails done. I love them!!!

The visit started off fine--the staff was friendly and offered water or coffee--but that's where the positives ended. I had been in twice before and always requested a short almond shape. The tech's work wasn't great, but it wasn't terrible either, so I gave them another chance. On my third visit, I again asked for short almond-shaped nails. Instead, he cut them short and straight across. When I tried to explain how to achieve the almond shape at the length I wanted, he became visibly irritated and insisted that he's been doing nails for seven years and "knows what he's doing." For the record: you cannot create an almond shape after cutting the nail straight across. That results in a short round shape--which I specifically said I did not want. As the paying customer, I should not have to argue about the shape I requested. He continued to raise his voice about his experience and ultimately told me to go elsewhere. Honestly, that was the best thing he could have said, because I did--and I found a wonderful little salon where Dee gave me the perfect short almond shape without any attitude. They always have a plethora of staff working and even if you don't make an appointment, you can usually just walk-in. Pedicures never feel rushed and they take the time to ensure the services received are quality or if mistakes are made they make sure to correct them. I usually get the herbal pedicure where you pick a scent and includes the hot stone massage. Prices are pretty reasonable and on-par with other places in town ($45-$50).
