I have seen a lot of negative reviews on this place regarding the people being pushy about the membership or whatever...this is my experience. I found the $1 first time visit coupon on their website so I clicked it and filled it out. A couple days later I got a call to schedule it. I scheduled it for the next week with no problems and even got a text message reminder about the appointment. Today was my appointment. I walked in, was greeted immediately by a very friendly guy and girl at the front. I was asked what drink I wanted, I got a coffee and was taken back almost immediately. Damian was my stylist. She is awesome. Good conversation, informed me about the membership in a very natural way, absolutely nothing pushy at all. We talked about the style I wanted and she made some suggestions. We agreed and she cut my hair with precision and an attention to detail you don't get at cookie cutter shops...you know where I'm talking about!!! At the end I received a paraffin was hand treatment, a scalp massage/hair wash, and a hair styling. I LOVE my haircut! At the end she walked me up front and it was the $1 I thought it would be, I left a tip of course. We talked about the membership options and the gentleman explained it thoroughly and I decided to probably sign up at my next appointment in February. I enjoyed the atmosphere, the experience, again, Damian was great and I will most likely be using this place from now on. Not super cheap on the regular but if you want to look your best, be treated well, and have a nicer than regular experience then you get what you pay for. Highly recommend! read more

This place is sketchy at best, Haircut was not great, I am being kind, They were more interested in selling subscription plans. They gave me a book about some kind of pyramid scheme. They offer $1 haircuts which is an awesome one time thing. That's it though, only one time. Everything afterwards requires a subscription of about $45. The haircut has never been great, I always left looking worse than when I walked in. Staff are usually friendly, except for the front desk. They will ask you to leave a 5 star review on every website possible. If I were to recommend a high end hair salon, it'd be Roosters in Tulsa hills. My son always chooses the hand paraffin wax on Wednesdays or the scalp treatment with minerals. We love the customer service and that they are on time. This place doesn't serve/treat Asian well. Came here and was neglected for a quick touch. Such a wack store. If they had better customer service and look us into the eyes and say we don't serve your kind it would have been better then wasting my time and getting brushed off waiting. Wow what an experience. Was told when making the appointment that my son's haircut would only be $1. Upon check out I found out that it was not $1 but it is $23. so I had gone here for several years and love the people and got along with everyone, I randomly walk in one day for a clean up and I get told I'm no longer allowed there and that I'm not a good fit For Elephant in the room!! No explanation , just I can't go there. I've tried to reach management and every time I talk with someone that day the same damn thing, oh sorry your not a good fit for Elephant in the room. they won't even tell me what I supposedly did wrong. I loved pretty much everybody in there and I thought they loved me. You don't do this to loyal customers. The way this was handled was extremely unprofessional and I'm not done getting to the bottom of this. They went from five stare to Zero stars very quickly for me. My husband canceled his membership because they stopped giving their military/first responder discount. He just felt like it wasn't worth the cost without it. (He was given a very sloppy fade the month before) The lady told him to come back "when his financial situation improved". WOW. Took my grandson there for a haircut. He came out looking like Ramona Q, in the 3rd grade (Yelp won't let me use the beverly Cleary book title) It's horrible. Next day we go back for a redo, supposedly with their top stylist. This gal does an even worse job than the first and she for some reason, shaves 2 lines on the back of his head, like a football player would wear. Who would do this without asking the kid if he wanted them. This luckily was the first haircut free because I would've been furious had I paid the $50 the cost would've been had it not been his first cut in that salon. Took him to Nancy & Co and had Jacqueline B cut his hair in a normal 14 y/o boy style. For $10 & a tip. First off the hair cut was good I'm happy with the cut the the stylist understood what I was asking for and did a great job. But then as I was going to pay they asked if I'd like to sign up for a membership. I was interested so I was asking question, but I didn't really get any answers on what I'd be paying for. So I told the lady at the front that I'd just like to pay but she just kept circling back to me signing up for a membership. I told her I can't sign up today due to my schedule being up in the air at the moment. she continued to say okay but lets get you signed up so I just said look i'd just like to pay please. she said oh you did already. That was news to me because I hadn't given her my card yet...... they apparently kept my card on file form the last time I came in which was a week prior and I know they didn't ask if they could do that. I had an appointment for 7:30pm I came in and a gentleman was at the register looked up didn't say anything kept doing whatever it was he was doing turned around left. No greeting, no I will be right with you nothing just turned around and left. I stood there for about 5 minutes and nothing. So I just turned around and left. I got a really sweet haircut from them on late notice. They were very accommodating and took me in with no hesitation even after I was running a few minutes behind. To my surprise, when I got to the register the total was only $1.00?! A donation to a charity they had picked out. It was these worse hairctting experience in my life. I get greeted by Allison. The haircut was fine except I said to her I wanted white sidewalls on my sides & back of my hair. And she said she couldn't do it because she had to do my hands. I was in there barely 10 minutes getting my haircut. So I'm disappointed!! I felt like I was around a bunch of sales people, not salt of the earth. This ain't liberal California!!! I have a hard time hearing, I'm a disabled war veteran, I kept on bending my ear to hear him. The 2 women & tall black dude were talking so loud, I couldn't hear the salesman up front, I used military voice & bellowed over them & told them to be to be quiet please. This is a first class experience. The extras are nice, and they offer me additional products every time I go. The experience though is what is so pleasant to me. Please don't go here if you are going to complain about it being over priced. Yes. It's expensive. But it's worth it. Not everyone understands the concept of needing to invest in "yourself" once in a while. If you are a person who goes to a nice steakhouse and complains about that the steak is expensive, don't go to EITR. So this "lounge" is well designed and has a great concept but honestly it's incredibly over priced for the service you actually receive. The extras they tout are beverage (which they actually had a decent beer selection), hand-dip wax treatment (I liked that too), and a neck/shoulder message. The latter is what is easily the greatest pull for every guy walking in the door and it was actually the most disappointing. It would be more accurate if they advertised it as a shoulder squeezing. I didn't leave feeling relaxed. Top it all off with an attempt to charge me full price while they had a promotion for first time guests going on. I even mentioned it at the front desk upon arrival. The look I received from the girl up front was blatantly the look of "well I thought I would try to pull a fast one on you". Finally a full service men's hair salon in Broken Arrow! This place is amazing!!! Very professional staff catering to men's grooming needs with lots of little extras. To start you are offered a beverage...adult ones if you like. In addition to a hair cut you can add on other services such as paraffin wax treatment for your hands. This would've got five stars...The stylist are great at this location and other locations i visited. When I first tried EITR I was skeptical. They advertised $1 first cut. Sounded too good to be true. But they lived up to it. Great cut at excellent price. They talked me into a membership. Mainly because they offered great cuts and an add-one like razor shaves. Also, as a first responder they offered a great discount. As of recent they have changed their agreement. Last month, they were saying that current members would not be affected in the price change, only new comers; but I have come to find out that is not true. When I first came I felt like welcomed customer getting great treatment but EITR eventually pulled away from offering the add-on which initially joined. now to find that they are no longer honoring the original agreement I sign up for; it is becoming harder to stay loyal to a company that doesn't stay loyal to their clientele. I can get an equally good haircut from many other shops... at a better price and not locked into a monthly membership. I used to recommend EITR to everyone in my department.
