Both were every bit as incredible as we remembered: the pasta rich and full of flavor with pecorino and guanciale, and the pig perfectly tender and juicy with that irresistible crispy skin. Yumm! We started with the Crostino N'Duja, which was rustic, spicy, and the perfect way to kick off the meal. We also ordered a charcuterie plate. To finish, the lemon torte was bright, refreshing, and surprisingly, not too tart. It was exactly just the way we like it. Kevin's service was outstanding--warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful, which made the celebration feel even more special. We were given a couple of shots and a special cookie for my hub's birthday and after learning I am Filipino, he also offered us shots of his own special Ube liqueur. La Tavernaccia has truly become one of our favorite places in Rome, and we already can't wait to come back again to try something new that Kevin highly recommended - the Roasted Veal.

The bottle of wine was only 6 euros. Our meals were about 10 euros each. We also had a big bottle of water and some bread and tomatoes as an appetizer (in the picture with wine). For four people our bill came to 60 euros which was incredible. We left full. Just the outside weather that was the negative. They have English speaking servers as well. I visited this vegan buffet during my trip to Rome and was very excited for the buffet and to try…read morethe dishes presented. The buffet is small, but there is enough food to feel satiated. Having a small buffet means that jf it's crowded it can take longer to get the food that you want (because someone else is blocking you) or people become impatient and jump the line to weigh their food as there is no arrow pointing which direction to go around the buffet to get in line to weigh your food. I thought the food was good but not great enough to return back for more. The seating is communal meaning that you will have to share with others. I didn't really like that concept but it didn't take away from my experience. Ensuring that your parties are not mixed with others, waiters take your drink order and then provide you with a receipt. Along with this receipt you'll take one form the buffet after weighing your food. At the end of your meal, you'll need both receipts to pay for your food at the cashier register before exciting. Customer service was good could be better, they just all seemed to be in a rush (around 1:30-2:30 pm).
