So that I do not skip an appointment. Today as I am getting ready to go to my appointment, I receive a phone call saying that they have to "cancel/reschedule" my appointment due to my stylist would be a hour late and that would put her behind on all her other appointments. So this means I am unable to have my appointment but everyone else had theirs. So they tell me, I have to reschedule for another day which who knows when ( they did try to say they could squeeze me in tomorrow (Saturday), I already have plans during the time they stated. And all I got after that was a sorry that's all we can do. It's MOTHER'S DAY WEEKEND!!! And it seems like they really had no concern about messing up my weekend plans. Oh, then I get a email stating that I canceled the appointment and I can reschedule. Which I did not they did.

I can tell that her confidence has grown along with her swimming skills from taking these classes. She started in the bright blue level and has already moved up to big blue. The staff gives you updates on their progress after every lesson in the mobile app. The facility has plenty of seating to watch your swimmer and is brightly lit. There are many changing rooms, (including changing rooms with infant changing tables in them) and plastic bags for wet items. Anyone can sign up for swim lessons, from babies to adults who need help learning!

The treatment of their staff, students, the way they handle situations, and how they use their money. Just last week it came out that a music director at one of the high schools have been sending female students sexual emails for years, not only did he work at that high school but multiple in the district and MIDDLE schools. He got to resign, not fired but resign. They refuse to speak about it. Teachers have to protest for fair contracts. UCS is one of the top 15% districts in Michigan, if that were really true I'm petrified to see any district below it. I'm a graduate from one of their schools and have gone to 2 of their elementary schools, 1 of their middle schools, and 3 of their high schools. I have siblings at an elementary school different than one than either of the two I went to. Shit all around.

The supervision for toddlers is poor. The first incident I noted, was finding my son in another…read moreadjoining room, unsupervised. There was a baby gate up so he could not have went into the room by himself, he was left there by staff. They were not even aware that he was missing from the room until I arrived. On multiple occasions I came in to pick up my son and found different toddlers crying at the door. This seemed to be the regular routine of just letting kids cry at the door. The final straw was when my son's hand was shut in a door, requiring five stitches. Upon contacting the state of Michigan, the school administration attempted to blame my son (age 22 months) for the incident. They did not advise that medical attention was needed and falsely accused my husband of "ripping" off the bandage, causing the wound to bleed. When we asked about taking the child to the emergency room, we were advised to remove the bandage. The whole incident was poorly handled by the school staff and administration.
