Incompetent and careless. They did work repairing our kitchen a few years ago after mold. What they…read moresaid would be a 2 week job turned into probably 5 months. Writing this now because I just saw an outlet underneath the sink that's not at all mounted to the wall and was reminded of how ridiculous this whole ordeal was. They'd come maybe 2 times a week, maybe less, sit in the driveway and wait for each other for a while, and they'd always forget what they were supposed to do. Then they'd say "ah ya we remember now, gotta go to Home Depot" and take another 1-2 hours. The pace of work was incredibly slow. When they were redoing our kitchen, we came home and saw that the main handyman had bought cabinets for the sink that opened straight into the fridge and stove, so you could barely open them. It was on a corner, so clearly a corner / lazy Susan cabinet was needed. Delayed the job by however many days. They cracked the sink they put in, and there's carvings in the countertops from where they messed up with sloppy cutting. When they installed the AC window units, they stained the window panes, sink, and the outside of the house with the insulation foam and didn't attempt to clean it until I asked. They didn't get much up; still stained. They didn't put calking around the countertop they put in behind the sink. There were a bunch of other times where similar things happened that I had to ask them to redo it or do a part of the job they'd missed.

It came out beautifully. I especially liked that he gave me 2-3 ways he could mount. I chose to hide the cord in the wall. Ben did an exceptional job in about 30 minutes. I was so impressed! I first hired Robert to handle several installations in my home and to rearrange my existing living room gallery wall in preparation for three new pieces of art that are still on their way. I also wanted to rethink the artwork on my dining area wall. I have a large, eclectic collection of art in different sizes, styles and frames, and I had a very specific vision for how I wanted these spaces to come together. Robert understood that vision immediately. He didn't simply hang pictures where I pointed. He understood what I was trying to accomplish with both the living room gallery and the dining area wall--the balance, relationships between the pieces, and the way the art needed to work with the architecture and furnishings already in the rooms. He rearranged and installed everything beautifully while leaving exactly the right space for the three pieces that are coming. When they arrive, Robert will absolutely be the person I call to install them. My second experience with him came unexpectedly. A very large 57" × 76" painting arrived, and the delivery service had sent only one person who wasn't much bigger than I am. The painting therefore ended up downstairs in my garage. With the summer heat, I was increasingly worried about leaving it there. I contacted Robert knowing I was giving him almost no notice. His schedule was already very tight, but when I explained the situation, he found a way to fit me in within the next couple of days. Robert and his team got the enormous painting safely out of the garage, into the house and installed on a very tall wall. They were careful, methodical and precise, and they took the time to make sure its placement was exactly right. The finished installation is spectacular. The painting has become a focal point of the dining area and feels completely at home with the surrounding artwork, plants and furnishings. What distinguishes Robert is that he brings much more than the technical ability to securely hang artwork. He has an excellent eye for scale, proportion, balance and placement, he listens to what you're trying to accomplish, and he respects both the individual artwork and the larger vision for the room. Add to that his responsiveness, professionalism and willingness to help when I unexpectedly found myself in a bind, and he's exactly the kind of person you hope to find and keep. R2 Picture Hanging & Delivery has become my go-to for installing and arranging art in my home--and Robert already has three more pieces coming his way, with more projects to come.

The mirror was on sale because it was missing hooks but he brought everything i needed to fix that. He provided a bracket. He also added earthquake tape which was great. The price was great. They were putting the TV mount on an outside wall and made sure we understood that it could be difficult to find studs through the stucco. They even asked if we had the exterior paint incase we had to fill a pilot hole later and paint over it. It was a challenge to find the studs but they spent the time to make sure everything was done right and when finished everything looked great.

I wasn't sure who it was because it was so late and the caller ID said "Pro TV Mounting Same Day..." I figured it was him because then he sent me a message on Yelp that night saying "I tried calling and no one answered". I messaged him to schedule a call at a time that was more reasonable. No answer. Then the same number called during a Sunday afternoon. I asked again to please just schedule the call. When I called at the scheduled time, he sounded almost half asleep on the phone (sorry I woke you up!) and I tried explaining clearly what was wrong with the issue and he said repeatedly, "why don't you just call the people who originally installed it". I mentioned I was unhappy with their work and wanted someone else. He clearly was unfamiliar with what was going on and didn't know basic terminology for installation of doors. Never asked for a guarantee, but I just wanted someone who had a more experienced and expert installation history. He then got upset when I indicated I wouldn't be using his services because he sounded like he didn't know what was going on for the project and I preferred not to pay $80 since all other handymen come to do an assessment for free so they can accurately set expectations for themselves and the customer and there isn't disappointment on either side. He literally started raising his voice on the phone because I was trying to ask his professional opinion and gather more info on what he thought was going on. Maybe he was having an off day because he seemed to get frustrated with what I thought were common questions. It seemed like he just wanted to get me off the phone and do the $80 in-person assessment. So the "phone consultation" part doesn't seem like a real thing. Again, I told him "no problem that's your policy and I appreciate your time" but I will go in a different direction Unprofessional and also seemed to have limited skills for certain simple jobs and really is focused on TV mounting or other things (I mean the phone number ID says Pro TV install"). Again, that's totally ok, but don't get upset when a customer would prefer a different option. And be careful! He then tried repeatedly harass and called me several times after now from a hidden number! He had to be reported to Yelp! It seems like this guy generally has good reviews, but this seemed very unusual and concerning. Just take a look at all the other 1-star reviews. They all talk about the SAME exact issues: calling at inappropriate times, rude/unprofessional, harassing calls, incorrect skills listed, (even being asleep, ha!), etc. There is a clear negative pattern here, but other people seemed to find benefit so up to you based your exact situation.
