My daughter was having back problems and had never been to a chiropractor. I chose Elevation because they had decent reviews and their location was convenient. I reviewed the different plans they offered such as pay per visit or buy a bundle of visits that cost more upfront (of course) but less than if you bought the same amount as single sessions. The bundle had a time limit in which to use the appointments. I specifically said that wouldn't work for us as we didn't know if we could use all of the appointments in the given amount of time. I explained to them the reason we may not be able to complete the sessions in the allotted time period was because my daughter was in high school with sports practice after school most days of the week with a varying schedule. I was told IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS not to worry about the time limitations to use the sessions as they would extend the time as needed, so I purchased a $500 bundle of visits (or more - I can't remember the exact amount). They did not honor what they said about extending the time period to use the appointments. I called to schedule an appointment for her and was told that we had reached the end of the 3 months so remaining visits would not be covered by what I had already paid. I reminded them of what they had told me, and they went to the doctor to ask if the visits could be extended. HE GAVE US 2 WEEKS - IT WAS IN DECEMBER A COUPLE OF WEEKS PRIOR TO CHRISTMAS, and there was no way we were going to be able to use the remaining visits in that time period (and they were closed at times during the holiday which makes it even more ridiculous). I was told the that's all the doctor would offer - no conversation directly with him, just "no." What a scam. I was out hundreds of dollars. This business seems to be intent upon scamming people by making promises to get them to buy bundles of appointments to "lessen the cost of individual visits" and saying whatever is needed to get the upfront money. I was clear and honest about my hesitation to buy it but assured it would be a flexible schedule with no set time limit. The cost per session had not increased and had already been purchased. What is the point of being dishonest with people? Did they think I would buy more sessions? If I had not given a detailed explanation of why I didn't think it was beneficial for our situation to pay upfront for appointments, I would consider this my fault for not following the time limit in which to use them. However, I could not have been more clear, so the only reason I can surmise they would not honor what they said is that this may be a common practice for Elevation Chiropractic & Wellness. I don't know the answer but only know that's what happened to me. read more

The only downfall of the appointment was at the very end whenever I was going to pay one of the younger ladies who had long black hair said that I couldn't use this 50% off coupon that I found on Yelp, which didn't have any exclusions and she said sorry not sorry, the doctors told you that you can't use coupons anymore. I then said but it has been awhile since I have been in and the coupon doesn't have any exclusions on it . she's like you know why you can't use the coupon, like I'm a child which I did not appreciate and I told her well then you need to make it where there is an exclusion for only first time users and she kind of blew me off and she's like fine we will do that. So my point is there is no exclusion so if you have a coupon that says 50% off your visit. You should be able to use it! read more

After telling the Chiropractor Dr. Jeffery I had surgery in my right shoulder & to be careful on it, he still worked it really hard. Now about two weeks later my shoulder has been having consistent and PROGRESSIVE issues: clicking when it didn't used to do that, sharp pains, tightness, and now limited mobility. This affects my training as a skydiving athlete, competitive bodybuilder and athlete in many negative ways. Especially in my skydiving training. As an athlete my whole life and in many different sports; I would NOT recommend any and all athletes in any sport to go here for Chiropractic services, especially if you have had past injuries that need to be taken into consideration. Edit- in reply to Paul 1/25/21 Paul Jeffrey then why are you defending yourself so hard. As a business owner it's important to take criticism with a grain of salt and not get offended and you're blaming this over insurance when my shoulder is legitimately injured now after seeing you. Insurance has nothing to do with it. However from what I've heard I'm not the first person your place has insurance issues with either. Denver is a small city my friend. You're right you didn't touch my shoulder. You "adjusted" my wrist by yanking down on my entire arm more than once. And either way, You studied anatomy and physics correct(I hope so)? Where does all that force you pulled on my wrist exit or end...my shoulder. You keep saying I got heated when I didn't, if you think that was heated, you lack some life experience Doc. Put your ego aside, this is Denver, there are chiropractors on almost every street corner as much as there are tattoo shops. And many take insurance as well, including my friends. The only reason I strayed to try someone new is because my fiancé invited me. I don't have an issue paying. We also never talked about how often I'd see you, so I'm not how I would get mad at something we never discussed. Lastly, my friend fixed your work. My shoulder wasn't aggravated until a few days after seeing you. I said my hip was great after my visit with you when I left. That's it. As you know, or should know...if injuries happen they can progress overtime like what's happening with my shoulder. Again, enough with the ego. I could say the same thing about my reviews and peoples testimonials on nutrition and training. But I could care less about the good ones and I focus on the bad ones to better myself and my business. I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Jeffrey in Phoenix Arizona, where Dr. Jeffrey was practicing prior to his move to Denver. While I have not had the opportunity of receiving care at Elevation quite yet, I can say that my treatment with Dr. Jeffrey was educational and extremely helpful. I have been receiving chiropractic care from various providers for 10 years. I have very few favorites and Dr. Jeffrey is one of them. Aside from getting great adjustments, Dr. Jeffrey was the only Chiropractor who was able to adjust my T5- many had tried but none succeeded (I have a tumor in there and it makes it very difficult to adjust). Dr. Jeffrey tried different techniques time and time again, until he found one that worked. And even though it probably hurt his hand to do it, he still did it each and every time and it made a world of a difference in my back. Thanks for not giving up doc! Aside from that- I learned a TON about my skeletal health. You could always see how excited he was to share his knowledge. I've been an active athlete most of my adult life but now that I'm 48 years old I find that stretching out before and after workouts is not enough to stay injury-free and pain-free. I had opportunity to visit Dr Paul Jeffrey, D.C. on somewhat of a whim. I've always been a bit skeptical of chiropractic treatment in general but decided to try it. When I saw Dr Jeffrey I explained the type of sports I engage in: boxing, running, cycling and some weight training. I felt that I was in good shape. After my first adjustment I was a little amazed to realize that I did not quite have full range of motion to the right in my neck. Driving home I realized that I could turn my head all the way to the right to check for traffic in my blind spot. I didn't even realize that I was twisting from my waist! My first experience going to a chiropractor and they reached out to me for a free complementary visit. Was supposed to start at 3:30 and they finally got me in at 4. After adjustment and massage, asked me to wait around to speak to Dr. Jeffrey about what I thought would be a follow up plan. Instead he spent the entire time explaining how he will bill my insurance company out of network so he makes more money and so that I don't have to pay any deductible then actually in the adjustment and figuring out what I need and what course of action I should take. Unfortunately this is why chiropractors get a bad name because of insurance games they play and not actually focused on the people. Never thought seeing a chiropractor would help. Went after finding a deal on Groupon and It was the best decision I could've made. I actually bought a package of 4 adjustments and massages later because It made such a difference. Everyone there is extremely nice. Refreshing to be honest. Skyler is amazing and the massage therapist was extremely good. It wasn't just a massage to make you feel good. I've had a lot of massages and she is probably the best. Worked with what I told her the issues were and did a great job and was very technical. The massage on top of the adjustment made me feel brand new and It got better the more I went. The adjustments I've gotten were even better, fixing my habitual problem areas like my neck and lower back.
