I arrived approximately one minute late to a class for which I was registered and was refused entry. While I stood there, another woman arrived after me, greeted the owner with a hug, and was immediately invited into the exact same class. I watched her sit down and put on her running shoes while I remained at the front desk asking why she was allowed in and I wasn't. Rules are rules. Rules that apply differently depending on who you are friends with are not. What makes this particularly disappointing is that I had previously sat down with the owner and explained that I am postpartum with a young baby. Fitness is incredibly important to my physical and mental well-being, and coordinating childcare, naps, feeding schedules, and the general unpredictability of life with an infant is not always easy. I explained that despite my best efforts, there may occasionally be a time when I arrive a minute or two late. The response then was a complete lack of empathy. The response on this day was even worse. Being denied entry while watching someone else receive an exception in real time was humiliating. It communicated very clearly that some members are extended grace while others are not. It made me feel as though my time was less valuable, my circumstances less deserving of understanding, and my membership less important. OrangeTheory is not an inexpensive workout. Members are paying for coaching, community, professionalism, and consistency. Instead, I felt embarrassed, singled out, and frankly punished. The Danbury locations have always been welcoming, professional, and kind. The studios I attended in Los Angeles were the same. In all my years with OrangeTheory, I have never witnessed such blatant favoritism. A fitness studio should leave you feeling stronger than when you walked in. This one managed to do the opposite.

In the readings, it's not uncommon for Jesus or Mother Mary to come through, which they did for my reading. But, and this is a big but, if you have a lovely protected shungite room with some of the highest vibrating beings on the planet coming thru, wouldn't you kinda think they'd protect you and you wouldn't need to wear your mask? That dichotomy and disconnect between energy, vibration and fear doesn't really work for me. Hence, my prior review remains the same that this is a Spirit Lite sort of place...which there is nothing wrong with whatsoever because everyone needs a place to start. It is my deepest desire and wish that one owner would step out of her fear and into the truth and light and knowing that one's own field can protect you from bullets - think of Neo in the Matrix - and you do not need to sit around in masked fear. Regardless, I always find something here, like the moon calendar I needed, and am grateful they do exist. But being a conscious empath walking into fear porn where there should not be fear porn remains super hard. The feather wall hangings currently for sale are especially lovely. And, more often than not I buy larger crystals here I am very pleased with.

I have been going to him for over 5 years to have my tender points, trigger points and knots taken care of. This can't be done without some discomfort. But David is very skilled at reading your body and knowing just how far to go before it gets too painful. He generally also gives advice after the massage, for example some stretches you can do. David makes sure the massage takes place in warm, relaxed and quiet environment. He is worth every cent.

He's not only helped make me noticeably stronger, but also helped me to lose over fifty pounds. He's an excellent trainer and PTP is lucky to have him.
