I took a First Kiss pole class with Madison, who was super supportive and helped me make corrections to my form frequently during this smaller class. The class felt tailored to the group that was there. They also have tripods if you wanted to record yourself to watch back later and review your form, which I thought was interesting. The studio itself was pretty basic but clean. I will definitely be back to try their other specialties to see which one fits me the best. Some of the equipment including the mats is a bit beat up but still functional. They offer cubbies for your personal items and provide clear instructions for cleaning your materials at the end of class.

I walked in on a Saturday morning and wasn't able to find anyone to assist. Another patron came in to tell me that I had to walk to the back to possible speak with someone. The atmosphere wasn't very welcoming from the "staff" there that day. I wasn't able to purchase the gift card for my daughter as it seemed the one young lady trying to help me, had no idea how to get one! She had to call someone else to discuss as I waited for 10 minutes. Not to mention the one lady attempting to assist me did not seem to speak English well. Perhaps I went on an "off day" but in either case, I asked my daughter to find another more welcoming facility due to my experience. I couldn't in good conscience direct my daughter to this place if I felt put off. She's young and pretty reserved so I'm sure she too would've felt the disconnect in communication.

I started with the intro classes and I've moved into the regular ones, now. I like how they offer TRUE intro classes, unlike other studios, so if you've never even touched a pole you won't be intimidated. The classes are small so you get more one-on-one attention. This is good if you want the focus, like me, but it also means you can't slack off as easily. They offer lots of different classes, including a Dance & Pole that I really enjoy that combines regular dance moves and pole moves. They have a really good open gym option where you can pay $5 before/after you take a class and have access (otherwise it's $15). I actually have a membership and have unlimited open gym tacked on to it. Either way, open gym is a really good way to practice what you've learned. Because if you're someone like me, you need to do it 20 times before you get it. This place has all sorts of classes if you're not into pole - like various aerial classes. I've only taken a couple of these, as my focus is mainly pole. I do wish they had more pole and dancing classes, but I do enjoy the schedule for the most part. Also, when registering for a class, make SURE you register at least 12 hours in advance, or the class gets cancelled. I learned this one the hard way a couple times. On a random note, this studio owner's dogs are here a lot too. They keep them in the office during classes, but don't be alarmed if you hear barking. They're good about keeping them away if you're not a dog person.

They have their own designated parking stops in front of the studio and there is more parking towards the back of the lot. Located on the second floor, you have to be buzzed in, which gives you an extra layer of safety and security. When you get upstairs you have an open hallway with multiple studios, you go to the right to get to the main office to check in for class. Their front desk has everything you could possibly need to purchase for class including shorts, socks, gloves, tank tops, water, etc. In the main pole studio they have small lockers to store your stuff and poles... pole everywhere! Watch where you're going or you might run into one... I know I have definitely ran into them before during events! I'm not really sure about the other studios. I've briefly walked into some of them to grab things for events, but I'm not so well-versed in their other classes. The people at Pole Fitness Studio are so open and friendly! I've been volunteering with Pole Fitness Studio for years helping them with their clothing swap charity events (definitely something to check out if you haven't!) But today was my first time taking a class there ever! I finally had a chance to take Pole Levels 1 - 2 (BEG) with Fawnia the owner of Pole Fitness Studio who is a legend in the world of pole! She is one of the nicest and friendliest human beings I've ever known and when I tell you, this was the funnest class I have ever taken!! I've never tried anything like this before, but I really wanted to get out of my comfort zone and by the end of the class I was spinning around on the pole living my best life! Fawnia makes it such a warm and comforting environment to really open up and let your hair down. She takes it step-by-step and really gives you all the tips and tricks to make to make the moves as seamless as possible, by the end of that class you will be one with the pole! I can't believe how many different moves we learned in 1 hour! The class has yoga mats and if you need a pole grip, they have that as well. I highly recommend kneepads... ouch! lol lol lesson learned for next time! Great for first-timers like me, beginners, people who want to get back to basics, and for people who want to connect with their body. This class is empowering, an amazing workout, and will have you leaving feeling fantastic!! I highly recommend checking out Pole Fitness Studio and checking out Fawnia's class!! I loved that there was a free 30 min introduction class and when I went I was greeted with a cute personalized sign and her set up was so nice/zen. The owner Robyn had such a chill and welcoming vibe to her and explained/demonstrated everything. From there I did the 7 chakra yoga package which was solo 1 hour classes including crystals after each class and even some reiki post workout! I always looked forward to going and my pup too who got to play at Roscoe's Retreat- (Robyn's husband's dog business, highly recommend!) My pup and I would both get a workout in and be beat afterwards. I can without a doubt say Your Higher Self definitely made me feel more confident/calm (and sore) lol. I took the beginners level one pole fitness class, as I've never even attempted this before. Tracie made me feel comfortable right away, and eased me into moves I found difficult, but doable. It was dip fun that before I knew it I was sweating up a storm and had a few new pole tricks up my sleeve. I showed up 5 minutes before the class begun due to the sign they had in front. I guess this yoga instructor simply has a grievance with a polite "no."
