The yoga instructor told me I "was mean" because I said I didn't have a cell phone number. I had asked her to please put ten zeros in the field for the phone number if it was critical to put my phone number in, and that was it. She then gave me a very dirty look and said she felt put out because I showed up right before her class and just wanted to put this information in. However, this studio also has a sign in front that says they do not open until exactly ten minutes ahead of when class begins. I showed up 5 minutes before the class begun due to the sign they had in front. I guess this yoga instructor simply has a grievance with a polite "no." I decided to go to another yoga studio since I am very unoccastomed to people acting this put out by my simply politely declining to give out my marketing information. Visited this studio as a tourist yesterday for a class. I liked the fact that they offered the ability to rent a mat and gave you a bottle of water. I'm an advanced yogi but I brought along my sister who was a newbie and found it to be a little advanced for the lay person. I signed up for the new client special and came in today for my first class--what a beautiful experience! Genie welcomed me with open arms and made me feel completely at ease from the moment I walked in. I didn't realize Genie would also be teaching the class, but it ended up being such a pleasant surprise. I did the vinyasa class, and I usually don't enjoy vinyasa at other studios, due to the fast pace and it's hard for me to keep up. Genie's flow was perfectly paced for me. Challenging, yet grounding. I felt supported, present, and truly restored by the end of class. Also, I love how early this studio opens! It's such a gift to be able to move and breathe before starting a busy day. This place is super clean, friendly, and perfectly located for the folks living near the old strip. It's one large high ceiling space with a front desk that opens up right into the yoga space. This is becoming my go to spot for yoga when I am here in LV. Definitely worth coming in to check it out. They have good packages and class access options available. Mat rentals and water. If I could give negative stars I would. This review is years later but there was alot of life that happened since then. I enrolled in teacher training for March 2020, yes right when Covid hit. They scrambled to get the classes online but it was not the experience I had PAID for. I explained this to the two of them and they gave me a partial refund but kept my entire deposit. I am a single parent who quit my job, moved to LV for these classes. Rented an airbnb and enrolled my son in online school. When covid happened there were no jobs so I ended up moving home. Thousands of dollars wasted and these two "teachers" kept my money. Pretty sure they applied for and received PPP loans and yet they kept my money. Sure you needed more than me!!! You know absolutely NOTHING about Ahimsa, to not harm. You did harm me and my child. I would never step foot in this studio with women who could do another woman dirty like that. I was so glad I was able to visit this studio while in Las Vegas New Years weekend. I went to the 6:15a Friday class and a Saturday morning class. I love that they offer a travelers pass that can be used for a week as many times as you want to go and it includes a mat rental. The teachers were knowledgeable and offered modifications when needed. The environment felt comfortable and welcoming. If I lived in Las Vegas this would be where I would practice. Located on Main with plenty of parallel parking, this open plan space has a front boutique area with a curtain separating a bare wood-floored studio and a single bathroom. It's basic but homey, with a curated selection of items for purchase and a giant gold mandala hand-painted on the wall. I've come by a handful of times, most recently during their free teacher certification weekend- recent graduates from their training program are getting experience teaching their first classes to the public, at no cost. The classes I took flowed well, space has great acoustics for the music but I needed instructors to speak up or turn music down in order to hear directions clearly. There isn't a single mirror in the whole place, including the bathroom, and I found that I was focusing more on myself than comparing my body or form to others in class. Welcome desk staff were friendly, instructors were warm and personable. Online site is easy to navigate for schedule and signup, and they have a good variety of classes. Great local yoga studio in downtown Las Vegas. Super nice to get away from the madness of the strip. Classes are longer than average which was a plus. Also they offer a 24 dollar traveler yoga which includes mat and water bottle. It was very nice that they gave fiji water. It was not necessary to provide a high end water brand but was a nice touch that was appreciated. Tried to contact studio multiple times prior to attending because I was coming with a few people and wanted to make sure there was room. I called numerous times and emailed with no response. However everything worked out. Make sure you use the bathroom before class because bathroom is located in an area everyone can hear your business. Genie was so kind to host a private restorative yoga session for me and my family/friends before our wedding! In addition to gentle movement and calm energy, Genie modified everything for my grandmother to be able to participate from a chair! She is in her 90s but still wants to show off how flexible she is, and hates being left out. It's hard to take her places especially something like yoga in case she falls but Genie made it all possible for her to enjoy the class too! Plus the rest of us could actually relax for once knowing that she was safe. The space is simple and clean, and tons of equipment to play and experiment. I spent one month going to the studio before moving away from Las Vegas. I really enjoyed my time here. The classes are diverse, the instructors are kind, and the price is reasonable. I especially enjoyed Monicas vinyasa classes, as well as all the weekly Yin classes. I definitely recommend taking them up on the $40 for 30 days deal if you are curious. Great experience at Sin City Yoga. I arrived in the area a little early for the 10:30 vinyasa class with Jamie. I walked around and enjoyed some of the street art on the neighboring streets before walking into the studio. Another class was in session when I arrived so I sat quietly in the comfortable and welcoming reception area. Jamie arrived shortly after and introduced herself and checked me into the class. The studio is beautiful with a gorgeous golden mandala in the center of the studio and nice hardwood floors. The mandala made a great dhristi for balancing postures. Everything was extremely clean- the rental mats, the floors and all the props, even the bolsters. Jamie was a fabulous instructor who offered a nice vinyasa flow. I liked that she had us hold the poses for a several breaths and the vinyasa never felt rushed. There was also a good mix of traditional poses. There was only one post that was not familiar to me (saddle pose). I also stayed for the next class with Rachel, which ended up being a private class as I was the only student. Rachel asked me what I was up for and we did a half vinyasa half restorative session. Rachel was super nice about orientating me a bit more the the area and gave me some fabulous recommendations of areas with more street art to explore. She also recommended Vesta coffee shop for a place to grab a bite and I was beyond thrilled with the atmosphere, coffee and meal I enjoyed at Vesta. Highly recommend this studio and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Vegas. Very chill and down to earth vibe- friendly and welcoming. I started my journey here on the $40 unlimited month for new clients...the past few months has seriously a life changer. I'm not an expert yogi or anything. When I lived in the SW part of town I occasionally went to a hot yoga studio there, a hot yoga studio on the west side of town, a hot yoga Yelp event, another couple of Downtown studios, and an occasional silent yoga event. I try to go to class here at least 4-5 times a week. I prefer Yin, Restorative, and Calm weeknight classes and morning weekend classes. With my super busy and sometimes super stressful weekdays this place grounds me. SCY makes a beautiful reset/calming closure to my weekday and a great calm weekend day start. I am now learning and practicing Vinyasa and with every practice I'm exciting to be slowly becoming familiar with this type/focus of practice. I don't do mornings lol so the 6:15am Bed Head session...I have never attended :) I'm sure its great but I try not to open my eyes prior to 8 am ;) I have my favorites here. Tess and Becky and Nicole immediately come to mind. They warm my soul. Their Intentions and suggested daily focuses blow my mind because they are somehow usually on point to what my day was like. The release and reset with these ladies is amazing. I actually truly love all the teachers here. Special shoutout to the owner for making this studio a place of love, kindness, warmth, nonjudgment, and enlightenment. I have thanked her before but I will thank her again here. First off, the new location of Sin City Yoga is so much more spacious than the last studio. We will not be doing any vinyasas in the driveway here. Nevertheless, it still feels cozy and welcoming. The founder and her helpers really put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into this space -- from the wooden floors, to the purple painted ceiling, to the chandeliers in the waiting area/boutique, to the large mural in the practice space. There are no mirrors, which I thought would be a problem for me in the beginning, but I have really come to notice how much of a distraction they were in my other classes. I'm able to focus on my practice very well without them; I can't see myself, but I also can't see anyone else. The only reason I'm giving this studio 4 stars instead of 5 is that the studio is one large space with a couple of curtain partitions, so a lot of distractions happen, especially in the way of noise -- from the front door being opened, people coming in and out, traffic on the street, etc. The instructors are kind about these things, and remind us to integrate the sounds into our practice by letting them go. I'm working on it. Last but not least, the instructors are amazing. I've taken classes from seven different instructors (so far), and only two didn't jive with me completely. For the most part, every class has provided a very thorough experience from warming up to cooling down, and have provided a great flow that made me sweat, while keeping my focus on my breath with a good rhythm. My favorite favorite favorite part is that the instructors pay attention to every student in class, providing personal, physical adjustments regularly, which really aids in progressing my practice. This is the first time I've committed to a membership at a yoga studio, and I'm really looking forward to more time there! read more

This is more than a yoga studio, it is a yoga community. I started attending classes here 6 months ago. I went to a few Bikram yoga classes at other studios on and off years ago, but I never had a regular practice. All the people at Sin City (the patrons, instructors, and owner) are all so encouraging and friendly that I am motivated every time I practice. Sin City Yoga offers so many different classes: Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow, Acro, Hatha, Beginner, Yin, Restorative, and Family classes! Every instructor is amazing and they all have different styles and strengths. The owner, Angelica, is always asking for feedback and keeps all the members up to date with different happenings in the studio. Angelica actually made the Family Yoga classes off of my suggestion. Now they have a class once a week where members can bring their kids for free and practice yoga together. My kids LOVE it and can't wait for the class each week (Shout out to Alicia for making it fun!). I can't even put into words how thankful I am to find a studio and owner that cares so deeply about it's members. I started with the $40 a month unlimited and then the next month became an unlimited member. Besides being able to take as many classes as you would like a month, unlimited members also get into free workshops. There are so many opportunities to practice, improve, and learn. I wish I could write a review for each instructor but honestly they are all amazing and have helped me tremendously. The studio is a little hard to find for first-timers. It's between Cowtown Guitars and Vintage Vegas. It's nestled in a red stucco shop, and shares the building space with an antique store. I am from the Bay Area and we have an abundance of yoga classes or private teachers I had a favorite place to attend called Yoga To The people and I wanted to find a place that had the same or similar environment. This was my first time going to a yoga class. This yoga studio is located in the downtown Las Vegas arts district. It's around quirky vintage shops. There is parking on the side of the building and on the street which both are free. The studio doors open 10 mins before class. You can find the class schedule online. We enjoyed the vinyasa flow class here. I had to make a trip here to try this class and I would do it again. It's the best yoga studio and wouldn't waste my time going anywhere else in the downtown area where instructors and yoga studio owners are late and disrespectful of other people's time. Came to LV for my wedding anniversary and needed to get my yoga fix. I was afraid all the yoga studios in Vegas would be "glitzy" cardio, and I honestly thought that with a name like "sin city" yoga, this studio would be one of them. I was so wrong! Sin City Yoga is a quiet, dimly lit studio, located on an eclectic street downtown, and focuses on traditional mind and body breathing connection. They even had a tourist special that includes a mat rental and water, perfect for me since I didn't want to lug my personal mat around while traveling. All of the teachers are amazing. Taking the time to help you with postures and providing any props you may need to help with poses. There's plenty of classes to pick through out the day. The studio is a nice size and very clean. My favorite classes are the Yin, Restorative and Vinyasa flow class Monday's at 6:15p with Heather. First timers can go for 30 days for $40 which is great. I've been a member here for over four months now and absolutely love it! They have such a wide range of instructors that there is a perfect teacher for everyone (or for whatever mood you're in). The teachers are always very welcoming and often ask if there's anything in particular anyone wants to work on - they definitely take into consideration what their members' goals are and help them work towards them. The studio also has extra workshops and events (last weekend, there was a camping retreat) to learn more about yoga and expand your practice. THE absolute best yoga studio in the city. I have to say, Marcy & her morning energy keep me coming back weekly. The monthly membership is well worth the price and you can go to classes whenever you want. Just look at the schedule, sign-up and show up. The space is nice and large, very clean and well appointed. I loved the class I took which was Resorative yoga. Very good, long stretches that I needed. $40 for a month of unlimited classes for new visitors is the deal that got me in and I'm SO happy I went. Wonderful yoga teacher.
