If you want to feel sexy and free you definitely need to check out Pole Fitness Studio!! Located down the street from the Palms on Arville near Flamingo, it's easily accessible from any end of town, with a hop on the freeway. They have their own designated parking stops in front of the studio and there is more parking towards the back of the lot. Located on the second floor, you have to be buzzed in, which gives you an extra layer of safety and security. When you get upstairs you have an open hallway with multiple studios, you go to the right to get to the main office to check in for class. Their front desk has everything you could possibly need to purchase for class including shorts, socks, gloves, tank tops, water, etc. In the main pole studio they have small lockers to store your stuff and poles... pole everywhere! Watch where you're going or you might run into one... I know I have definitely ran into them before during events! I'm not really sure about the other studios. I've briefly walked into some of them to grab things for events, but I'm not so well-versed in their other classes. The people at Pole Fitness Studio are so open and friendly! I've been volunteering with Pole Fitness Studio for years helping them with their clothing swap charity events (definitely something to check out if you haven't!) But today was my first time taking a class there ever! I finally had a chance to take Pole Levels 1 - 2 (BEG) with Fawnia the owner of Pole Fitness Studio who is a legend in the world of pole! She is one of the nicest and friendliest human beings I've ever known and when I tell you, this was the funnest class I have ever taken!! I've never tried anything like this before, but I really wanted to get out of my comfort zone and by the end of the class I was spinning around on the pole living my best life! Fawnia makes it such a warm and comforting environment to really open up and let your hair down. She takes it step-by-step and really gives you all the tips and tricks to make to make the moves as seamless as possible, by the end of that class you will be one with the pole! I can't believe how many different moves we learned in 1 hour! The class has yoga mats and if you need a pole grip, they have that as well. I highly recommend kneepads... ouch! lol lol lesson learned for next time! Great for first-timers like me, beginners, people who want to get back to basics, and for people who want to connect with their body. This class is empowering, an amazing workout, and will have you leaving feeling fantastic!! I highly recommend checking out Pole Fitness Studio and checking out Fawnia's class!! The way this studio handles tipping honestly ruined what could have been a great experience. We were told that tipping was "recommended," but it absolutely did not feel optional. At the end of class, the instructor wouldn't leave the room and continued standing there while everyone tipped. We were encouraged to send money through Cash App, follow her on Instagram, and leave a review before leaving. It created an extremely uncomfortable atmosphere where it felt like you were being guilt-tripped into tipping 20%. I have absolutely no issue tipping for good service, but there's a huge difference between giving someone the opportunity to tip and making people feel like they can't leave until they do. That's not appreciation--it's pressure. It left a really sour impression and honestly overshadowed the entire experience. If tips are expected, just include them in the price instead of putting customers in an awkward position. The class itself was actually fun, and the beginner instruction was well done. The instructor was knowledgeable, and I did enjoy learning the basics. It's a shame the experience ended the way it did, because the aggressive tipping culture is enough that I'd think twice before coming back. read more

I went to the intro pole class. I wish we got to spin or get our feet off the ground a bit. All we really did was stretch, walk around the pole, and roll on the floor, which I don't really see the point in paying for personally. I went to a different place for their intro class and we actually got to learn some pole tricks. The instructor asked us to leave a yelp review so, here I am I really wanted to love this pole class, especially given the glowing reviews that initially drew us in. Unfortunately, my group's experience was awkward from start to finish, and not in a fun, quirky way. Before the class even began, there was an uncomfortable exchange between the instructor and the front desk staff. As patrons standing just a few feet away, it was a tense moment to witness right before our session started. It immediately set an uneasy tone. During the class itself, things only got more awkward. The instructor's energy felt off--as if she was frustrated with us or just not thrilled to be teaching. Rather than offering supportive feedback, she seemed to single out certain people with overly harsh corrections, while others were ignored completely, and shut down clarifying questions. It created a weird dynamic and made the whole group feel uncomfortable. We were a bachelorette party, excited to have fun and try something new, but the class was silent because no one felt at ease. If someone made a misstep (we all did, we were all new to it) she would sigh and tell us to start over, but didn't provide feedback or correction, The pacing was inconsistent, and the moves we were taught lacked clear structure. (Random dance counts that seemed to change through learning the chero) It just felt... disjointed. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was being asked twice to leave a tip: once before class started and again at the end, despite how tense and awkward the entire session was. I'm typically all for tipping, especially in service and performance-based environments, and we did tip at the beginning. But had I known how the class would actually go, I honestly wouldn't have felt inclined to leave one. To be fair, I'm giving this place three stars because we did receive the class we paid for, and it sounds like other groups have had much more positive experiences--so perhaps ours was just an off day. Still, the lack of warmth, inconsistent instruction, and overall vibe made this a disappointing experience for our group. I would have rather had Abby Lee Miller teach the class, I think she would have been more patient with us. read more

Booked the earliest class they had on a Saturday for a group of 10 for a Bachlorette event. They were SO kind and patient when it came to organizing the whole event. The bride is a yogi, so the class started with really relaxing yoga (she thought it was going to be this the whole time.) After 10 minutes of that, mats were put away and the chairs were brought out along with the good music! The bride was totally caught off guard, mission accomplished! Our instructor was SO good, I cant recommend her enough (I forgot her name, this was back in July, believe it was Isa). At the end we all gave the bride a lap dance and got to shoot my money gun I brought. We had a full day of bach planned events but this was our highlight of the day. Good workout but no one was sweating which was a concern since we went straight to brunch afterward.
