Stay away from this business, I asked for a certain type of microwave and was insulted by the employee, telling me they do not sell GE appliances because that is a bad word and unamerican. If you want to be treated poorly, then go here, otherwise travel to somewhere else that will not insult you. read more

New to Walla Walla, went to my neighbor who was born and raised here and asked where to buy appliances and the answer was Elgin. We bought a refrigerator and washing machine there and were treated with respect, product knowledge and good pricing. Two thumbs up!!! read more

I've had good service in the past, and have bought several appliances at the M-F store. Today I went in looking for a washer, only to be subjected to a rant about "Covis". There were only a few washers in stock, due to factories not making anything (due to Covis, which is not real). The one washer/dryer combo in stock was from China and they were selling at cost because it was from China and they don't want anything from China on the floor. Home Depot is terrible because they don't sell anything in stock and have to order and you don't know when you'll get it (I wasn't asking about HD, I was at Elgin). Covis isn't anything but a virus like all the others that everyone will get and then it will go away, it's only different because we haven't seen it before. When I said he must not believe masks were important he said his sister is a nurse and doesn't think this virus is anything. My masked self left as quickly as I could, and likely won't be back. Insulting customers is not the way to sell anything. Oregon, by the way, has a statewide mask mandate, and Umatilla County has been struggling, so disparaging people for taking precautions is pretty dumb. read more

I felt the Sales Counselor I worked with knew the product lines extremely well. Such a contrast to the sales help I received at the Big box store near by. He offered ideas and suggestions that would save me money, unlike others that were pushy or tried to upsell me. As someone who was buying a high end product and had visited several stores in Tri-Cities and shopped online, I have ended up happy with both the information and the pricing I received.
