The staff were all extremely friendly, first and foremost, which impressed me particularly because the placed was absolutely PACKED! Despite how slammed they were, we got our food very quickly and none of the staff acted rushed or overwhelmed. Also, the food - DELICIOUS! Authentic, wonderfully prepared, and reasonably priced. Overall the food was very good. My basmati rice was very dry. The chicken shawarma and beef kabab were great. Also, the matzah ball soup was nice. Do a little homework before going so you know what you're ordering or you might feel overwhelmed if you're not familiar with the types of food served here. It's like Yiddish in menu form. The chicken shwarma and lamb shwarma are fab~razor thin slices of meat marinaded and cooked for hours on a skewer. The kabobs are great also. The baba ganoush is some of the best I've ever eaten. The lamb chops - perfectly spiced - on a bed of couscous and basmati rice, crisp vegetable side salad, and a side of hummus; superb. Though similar to some of our fine Lebanese restaurants in the area, there are some key differences that make this place a must for people who like Mediterranean food.
