Although my concerns were not resolved through a refund or replacement, I ultimately decided to move on from the situation and not order Alastin products from them again. Some time later, I decided to purchase a different product from the practice and placed a new order. My payment was processed, but the products were never shipped. After more than a week without any communication or updates, I reached out to inquire about the status of my order. Only then was I informed that my account had been deleted, my order would not be fulfilled, and that I should find a different provider. My money was refunded at that time. What makes this especially disappointing is that this is a medical practice, where communication, professionalism, and patient relationships should be priorities. The lack of communication and the decision to cancel my order without notifying me left me feeling that my concerns as a customer and patient were not valued. Businesses certainly have the right to decide who they work with, but I believe customers deserve transparency and timely communication. Had I not followed up myself, I do not know when I would have learned that my order would never be shipped and it doesn't seem like they would have refunded me unless I reached out.

I then received two follow-up text messages to confirm my appointment with this specific physician. One text confirmation was 15 minutes prior to my appointment. When I arrived they took my payment and then proceeded to inform me that I would be seen by an NP. When I asked where the physician was, they said he did not even work for the company anymore!! I was livid. I took off work and rearranged my whole schedule for nothing. Lastly, they advertise that insurance covers the cost of their services which is not true. It's cash pay for the required ultrasound which is $300 and thousands more for their treatments. I walked out. I will take my buisness elsewhere.

Immediately I noticed a huge lump forming on the left side of my upper lip. It is a clear bubble filled of Juvederm (cyst) which is caused by improper injection. I came back twice to have her dissolve it but the cyst is still there after a whole month!!! After seeking care from a more experienced board-certified plastic surgeon, I was informed that the nodules were FULL of pus and bacteria, located on/around the permanent sutures. I was also made aware that the nodule that was distanced lower than the rest, had a free-hanging suture that was attached to nothing. I was advised that what he found was consistent with infection related to the permanent internal sutures Michelle placed in me and was likely due to the sutures being unsterile/compromised during surgery. This was an extremely painful and distressing experience that significantly impacted my quality of life for OVER a year. When I reached out to her office regarding this, I was met with denial, zero accountability and was threatened multiple times if I ever post about this online. I strongly encourage anyone considering cosmetic surgery to thoroughly research their provider and ensure they are board-certified in PLASTIC surgery.
