Got lost a bit on the day of the appointment, 800 E Cottman avenue is also a apartment complex across from the WAWA. Me and my mom was a bit late to our appointment but Rose sign us in swiftly. When we entered the room, the room is lightly dim and cozy. Our masseuse came in the room in 5 minutes and start our hot stone first. I love the fact that my masseuse therapist(Louis) didn't speak much and let me enjoy my session. Didn't realize how sore my muscle was until the hot stone treatment. Mom say the hot stone lacks a bit of pressure, maybe I should get her the deep tissue next time. As our facials goes, we LOVE the facials. My mom says Handled With Care facials are so much better than Asian facials beauty parlor. I have been receiving massages for more than 20 years and have never found someone I could count on to understand my body and fix the issues. I was so impressed with Sara's ability to spot issues and work out the knots and relieve pain, I called to reschedule a second appointment. When I called, I was told she had left the spa. I immediately started tracking her down through Google. I found her and contacted her through email to see if she was available for an appointment. She scheduled me for a session and for the last couple of years, I have been a regular client. My health has never been better. So many massage therapists use too much pressure and still cannot get the job done. Sara is extremely knowledgeable about the body and has the ability to use technique and appropriate pressure to relieve my "knots." In addition, unlike the spas, Sara takes time to talk to her clients and understand what they have been doing. She has, so often, been able to understand why I may be feeling pain and tightness in my muscles. I think it is my neck but she works on another part of my body and things begin to loosen. This place strikes me as more of a fitness yoga studio than meditation and relaxation. Not…read morenecessarily a bad thing if that's what you like, but it's not my preferred style. The studio recently moved and is now in a new location. I don't particularly like the building. It feels very industrial and the hallways are always dirty when walking in bare feet. I have other cleanliness concerns as well. I started going here for aerial yoga and noticed the hammocks seemed a bit grimey, then funny enough the owner mentioned that she isn't able to clean them during the winter because they must hang outside to dry. So that's a solid 3-6 months of feet on hammock without being cleaned- yuck! No wonder they felt grimy. I also don't think they clean their yoga mats in between classes which really bothers me. Lastly, they hold exercise classes in the same room that they hold yoga, so there will be spin bikes and such sitting in the corner during your yoga class. It just takes away from the zen aspect. But again, that's just me. Maybe a yoga studio with exercise class in the same building is a win for you.m Overall, it's an ok yoga studio that will do fine in Quakertown where there is little competition.

I struggle with ADD and tend to have a very 'noisy' brain even in normal circumstances. Now, with the current stress and anxiety related to COVID-19, I've had increased difficultly focusing on tasks, both professional and personal. As Lance led our group through some basics of meditation (being still, at ease and aware), I absolutely felt my mind and body calm down, which was awesome! His way of leading and encouraging us through the process was easy to understand, even to a first-timer like myself.
