I contracted with Elite Cabinet Coatings 1.5 years ago and the cabinets looked great. Although they were not the cheapest company,( in fact 1.5X competitors) I liked the warranty to provide touch ups if necessary. After about 1 year the paint started to peel around joints in the cabinet and in detail of the moldings. I reached out to the sales person and was reassured that the company would be calling to schedule the repair. 2 months has now past without any contact from the warehouse. Fantastic job. Of course the homeowner is worried a bit before the job starts. But I had them do a full kitchen set of cabinets and also two bathroom cabinets. High gloss white. New cabinet doors and door handles. Shaker door style. Plus a 4" crown molding, soft close hinges for cabinet doors. Love it. I have pictures of before, during and after. WOW. I recommend them. I have been a real estate investor, with 7 rental houses plus my house, real estate agent and mortgage loan officer. I have had great contractors, good contractors and a couple stinkers. Step 5 Cabinets were resurfaced in white with the island in dark gray. The guys came, removed all doors and covered the floor and everything else that was not going to be painted. They added crown molding and cleaned all the surfaces that were to be painted. Then they primed everything. Then painted everything with a couple of coats of paint. There were a few spots were the paint ran but they sanded it down and resprayed it. They made sure everything was to our satisfaction before continuing. At the same time, they had all the doors at the shop getting prepared to be painted. Once everything was good in the house they brought the doors and hung them back up. They adjusted the doors to make sure they were all aligned, and installed the new handles that we had provided. The entire job took about a week to perform. Overall we are extremely happy with how everything turned out. They did an amazing job. The next step is to get the new countertops installed. To be continued... read more

I hired Elite to reface kitchen cabinets. The job went on much longer than we were led to believe. They also removed all hardware to rehang doors from our home-We had to purchase more. Most importantly, cabinet doors were left with bubbles in paint, permanent smudges and fingerprints, and a hard white foam substance stuck on another door. Needless to say, we are very disappointed with Elite's quality of work, poor workmanship, and the inability to manage their own schedule. There is no adjective negative enough to properly convey my experience with Elite Cabinet Coatings. I hired them to reface my kitchen cabinets and island, replace the kitchen countertops, refinish cabinets in my living room and refinish cabinets in my master bath. A job that totaled approximately $22,000. The estimated timeframe was 5-6 days to be completed. It was not completed for almost 2 months. There are so many things that went wrong. It would take pages to detail it all. I'll hit the highlights here to try to keep it concise: 1. My project manager came once and was fired in the middle of the project. He told me the outlets in my island would be replaced because they could not be painted. That never happened. I was later told by Elite that they are "not electricians" so they couldn't swap my brown outlets to now match my newly refaced panels on the island. They offered to paint them for me, despite the project manager telling me implicitly on day one that they can't be sprayed because the paint won't stick. So, nothing was ever done to rectify that issue. I will have to hire an electrician. 2. I was treated so poorly by several members of management, including the owner Steven. My husband got a very different reaction from these same people than I did. Misogyny personified. 3. The carpenter hired by Elite didn't show up until several days into the job, which I was told was an oversight in scheduling. He was habitually late. He also argued with me about wearing a mask inside my home during a global pandemic. I found out that a week later, the entire office was hit with Covid. Furthermore, this carpenter was quite angry that I provided and forced him to wear a mask. He proceeded to damage my backsplash while removing paneling. It was later confirmed by Anthony, the sales manager, that this was done out of spite and it was known that the carpenter had anger management problems. 4. Elite fought us tooth and nail to fix that broken backsplash. I signed a waiver at the beginning of the project that stated I would not hold Elite responsible for any damage that was incurred as it related to removing crown molding. They tried to use this waiver as an excuse to not fix my backsplash, which the damage had absolutely nothing to do with crown molding. Steven the owner even told me this was a major oversight in the verbiage of the waiver and that it had been a learning experience for him moving forward to word it more carefully. 5. The most egregious thing Elite did during this project was serve us a lien before the project was even completed. We were astounded to receive a notice of lien when Elite was sending someone to our home to work that very same day. When we called for explanation, Michael told us that this was a "safeguard" to ensure payment from us. We sure did argue with Elite a lot during this project and you bet we withheld payment until all of our issues were addressed. We knew how poorly we were being treated by them before they even received our money--we were terrified to pay them and risk them disappearing and leaving us with a destroyed backsplash. In the process of these arguments, we were told they couldn't make payroll without collecting money from us. We had guilt thrown at us, being told "we need to feed our families" while they pleaded for us to make payments before the project was actually completed. I can say that I have never dealt with a company so void of professionalism and courtesy ever in my life. The only positive things I can say about the whole thing is that the technician sent to our house, Felix, was incredible. His work was impeccable. But the customer service completely marred all of that for us. I would stay as far away as possible from this company. They are crooks and truly heartless, cruel people. read more

We recently did a full remodel of our kitchen and media room. From appliances, furniture, and of course we had new cabinets put in. My husband and I shopped around and did our research. I of course had a Pinterest board of exactly what I wanted to do, and wanted my dream remodel to look like. Alex, the rep we worked with was very knowledge, and professional. Elite Cabinet Coatings Sales Rep Anthony came to my new house and gave me a written estimate for the painting of my kitchen cabinets. I told him I was renovating my house and would not have new countertops for two months. He called me the next day pressuring me to sign so he could "get me on the schedule" and if I signed this week, he would give me 5% off. I reminded him of my renovation timeline. (Cabinets should be painted after the new countertop is installed.) I then reviewed his sheet the next day and called and informed him that the math did not add up. He added hundreds of dollars in incorrect math calculations. His response was "Oh, I'm not surprised my math was wrong." This is extremely unprofessional and no apology was provided to me. But I gave him the benefit of the doubt and fixed his math and asked for a new quote. I never received one. I also asked if I could select the glass inserts and see what type of gloss the painted cabinet doors have. I scheduled an appt and then called him to reschedule because my A/C broke. He texted me "We don't think we are going to be the best fit for your job." Seriously? I called his mobile phone and received a recording that his voice mailbox is not set up. How can one be in sales and not have voicemail set up. Again, seriously unprofessional. I called the office and left a voicemail twice asking for a return call and never received one. This is obviously a very unprofessional sales rep and company. I would highly recommend you do not use. What a waste of my time. read more
