When we entered the business located in Winter Park we where greeted and had a very informative discussion with Designer Sam Baker. She was professional, honest and extremely detailed in every aspect of her profession. She kept us informed on our timeline and understood the dynamics of the home which she visited, photographed, measured. She guided us through the process and remained in contact. We would highly recommend Sam as your designer. (5 star review, because of Sam) The teams which followed did prove to be knowledgeable in their trades and should be commended for their professionalism to the trade each one represents. The father and son team of Alex and Alex Jr. The installer of the counter tops, Omar. Ernie from the granite company. The backsplash installer, Jackson.The electricians were friendly and quick in their assignments. Mr. Geftay was friendly and worked with what he provided. Tim the finish painter was amazing. (5 star review) Several trades touched the mini remodel and showed they cared about the reputation of S&W Kitchens. As with any company dealing with trades during construction and finish work could be a daunting task. The superintendent lauded about his many years in construction and was informed that any faults of the trades would fall on him as he was the one who contracted them to represent the company. Jeff handled the sub contractors and scheduling advising the customer as to the progress of the job. This is the second time we have trusted S&W Kitchens in Winter Park, Florida with a major renovation of our home in Winter Park. Recently Mary Burkhammer, Project Designer, redesigned our dated 1963 vintage bathroom into a beautiful, functional bathroom. She did an outstanding job selecting tiles, vanity, shower doors, hardware etc, that fit our needs and budget. Larry Lerdo, Project Superintendant, supervised the implementation of the design From demolition of the old bathroom to the installation of tiles, shower doors and final painting and touch up. He made sure that the project stayed on schedule, and always made sure to minimize the project impact on our daily lives. He also took special care to protect our hardwood floors and furniture throughout the project. It was a real pleasure to work with Larry, and the the project was completed on time! Our Kitchen Designer from the Winter Park/Orlando location was Carol T***** and our Superintendent was Davin J*******, both were excellent, very knowledgeable and responsive. Along with Carol, Griffin was very influential in our decision to go with S & W for our kitchen remodel. All would return calls immediately and were readily available as needed. They were responsive if change orders were requested and didn't try to nickel and dime us. They always followed up to see that the change orders were accomplished. They had a positive attitude, promoted S & W in every way, yet looked out for our best interests in all aspects. I hit the jackpot last year when I walked into S&W and Chris Druschel said, "May I help you?" He and his team came to our house and nothing has been the same since. Literally, it is not the same house anymore! Our bathrooms are of the highest quality and Jessica Lowney is amazing with her creative designs. She came up with a rock path in our Texas bathroom that I just love. Chris is also hands on and Tim, our contractor, is at our house a lot supervising everything. We just love these guys and could not imagine redesigning our house with anyone else. They are so helpful and have great ideas. We are now, with their help, redesigning our pool area, that includes a whole new pool, grill, fireplace, slide, grotto, waterfalls, & my favorite...a tiki hut with a bar! TOTAL KITCHEN REMODEL: S&W Kitchen's team of James, Aniko, Robert, and all the sub-contractors, gutted and completely remodeled our kitchen in Celebration, FL. They worked with us from design and planning through demo and rebuilding. Great care was taken with each step of the process and they helped us to make several changes when issues arose from the original plan. I cannot recommend them enough. I have lived in many homes in several states and have lived through many remodeling projects, and I can say they were among the best! Carol Twomey, S& W designer, was recommended to us by a builder we know when we mentioned to him that we had decided to do a full remodel of our kitchen. We could not be happier with our final outcome and her help from the design process to the final completion. We had a 1950's bathroom with pink Mamie Eisenhower tile accented with black. We wanted a new shower to replace the old tub. Krista at S &W did not flinch. She had a vision and designed a striking new bath that combined some pink, some black , and white. A mid-century look, modern and updated, with a touch of history . Our guests are impressed with the renovation. They marvel at how the old and the new were combined so beautifully. We love it. It feels good. Everything works. We recently had a major kitchen and bathroom remodel on the first floor of our 175 year old house in St. Denis, Md. S&W did the design, and we couldn't be more happy with the results. The job came with the unique challenges that an old house often comes with: uneven floors, walls no longer flat, and I don't think there's a square corner in the entire house. Nonetheless, S&W made it work to perfection. They were always there to listen to our input and concerns.
