We love our dance experience here at Elite Dance in Covington La. My daughter has attended Elite for 9 years now and it has been a pleasure being part of this studio. The staff has been super helpful, friendly and well organized. The skills that she has learned here are exceptional. Elite Dance has been a great outlet for my son as he learned to get along with peers, develop coordination and have fun! We started at 18 months old and have been there for 3 years. I highly recommend their program for anyone from beginner to advanced. The recital is also optional for all. read more

After 2 years at this school I looked to leave because the staff was rude, the facilities dingy, their processes unorganized, they lack ballet and lyrical, don't have any male students (my third child is a boy), and they have more younger dancers than older dancers. That year Mrs Britney lost her patience with a group of Moms and dancers during picture week and Mrs Victoria scoffed a room of parents with 3 yr old dancers when no one volunteered to be backstage while their child was on stage. New mothers don't send 3 yr olds to dance so that they can keep up with them backstage; They send small children to dance to gush over how adorable they will be dolled up in miniature dance attire. Well unfortunately I stayed and what I experienced a year later was my wailing 4 year old being thrust in my face by a crazed Dance Mom type while my 6-yr-old looked on wide-eyed and my husband calculated how much of our extra-curricular budget he would soon be saving. This lunatic then proceeded to get inches from my face to loudly try to justify why she did what she did. This lunatic is Eileen Arnold, the owner of the dance school. A dance school where fecal matter is smeared on the bathroom walls which sounds absurd until you see the owner acting out in this way at the front of a crowded auditorium, aggressively handling a 4 year old child and then screaming in the face of parent. Poor leadership. They lack the intangibles dance can gleam such as composure and grace. Zero Stars. read more

My daughter has been going to elite for 8 years. She loves it. It has taught her such work ethic and dedication. I feel like she is not only learning how to dance but also life skills. The teachers are wonderful and the staff works very hard to accommodate all families. I would highly recommend elite dance. read more

Elite Dance allows dancers of all ages to become well-trained in a variety of styles of dance. Dancers are encouraged to express themselves and challenge themselves to achieve new levels of technique. There are opportunities for showcasing acquired talents whether it's recitals or competitions. Training and expertise like this cannot be found anywhere else on the Northshore! In addition, the faculty brings the perfect amount of discipline and energy to motivate the dancers to become better dancers, but also develop a passion for dance. This is a welcoming and enriching environment for dancers of all levels and their families to feel a sense of belonging and purpose at dance class. Wish I could give this place less than one star! They are beyond horrible!! Not only does your younger child NOT learn any actual dance skills the office staff is EXTREMELY rude, owners are rude and liars! I was charged in error and was woven a web of lies as to why I was charged then refused a refund based on their stricked policy. Since having this issue I have heard numerous stories about how rude, unprofessional and just down right terrible this company and "family" is! read more

This place is horible for younger children at least you think it is going to be $55 a month but it averages about $170 u go for weeks without dance. And the individuals that run it are rude. Dance instructor was very nice but not the management. read more

I don't think this studio is strict (not stricked) or horrible (not horible) for young children! My daughter has danced at Elite since she was 1 year old and it has been nothing but a nurturing place for her to grow. She has learned basic technique and dance that far surpasses her friends that take dance at other studios. The staff and owners have had open communication with me throughout her 6 years there and she quite frankly loves her teachers and the environment. I have highly recommended this studio to many people and will continue to do so! read more
