Now let's be honest with ourselves: the prices they're charging here are outrageous. We went in…read moreafter having dinner and only one member of our party ended up ordering anything. He paid $6.26 for a small single scoop of ice cream in a cake cone. That. Is. Too. Much. While I agree with other reviewers saying the store is very bright and clean with good customer service, those things in no way make up for how overpriced the ice cream is. Is it good ice cream? Sure. But it's not worth it. I can't believe they even charge you extra for a cone! Any cone at all! The cake cones are regular joy cones that you can buy a box of for $2 at the store. They must be making a mighty fine profit at this ice cream shop. I don't recommend it at all, unless you've got cash burning a hole in your pocket and really enjoy paying $7 for a regular-degular scoop of ice cream.

Fleur De Lis Gourmet Bakery has been our go-to bakery for many years. Nobody on the gulf coast can…read morecompete with the quality and complexity of their cakes and desserts, and they have been consistently excellent from the start. What they make here are not your run of the mill grocery store cakes. That's why they are not cheap, but cut into one and you'll see what you paid for. Just picking up the box you can expect a good ten or more pounds because of how much stuff they put into them. Their cakes are dense and fancy. Our recent order was for the Chocolate Bavarian Cream cake, which comes with layers of chocolate cake, strawberries, cream, and more. The 10 inch cake was upwards of $80, but I think it is worth every penny for the pure decadence of it all. We've ordered it several times over the years and it is always a hit at birthday parties. I also usually get my wife an order of their chocolate covered strawberries on Valentine's Day, because they put a lot of attention to detail and always use large, plump fruit. They often put the same strawberries on some of their cakes. In addition to custom orders, they maintain an inventory of smalls from cookies to mini versions of their cakes, so you can walk in and try out various stuff. They also serve coffee inside, so it's a great place to pick up a sweet treat on the way home from work.

One green apple snow cone, 1 double dip of chocolate and vanilla custard, and one hot fudge sundae. The young woman who took our order was super sweet and patient with us on our first time in. There really wasn't anyone else when we came in, though it did fill up after we ordered. They brought my snow cone out promptly and then...nothing. Several other groups ordered and got their ice cream and they still hadn't brought out either of the orders for my friends. We went back up to the counter and asked about them and the woman was very apologetic. It took several more minutes before the other 2/3 of our order came out but when it did, we really enjoyed it! They also gave us a coupon for a free ice cream at our next visit for the trouble. The store itself is very bright and there's an air vent over the door that loudly blasts you with cold air any time you enter or exit. I thought this was kind of strange, but I assume it's to avoid letting in the heat in the summer? Just something to note. I'd recommend Bop's. It's a little far from the beach but worth the drive! Everything we had was really good and very reasonably priced.

In one part it's the ice cream and boba then it's a bar then around the corner it's hibachi. The workers were all young teenager which is fine but you couldn't get any alcohol or from the bar. You can also get a shot in your boba tea but you can't take anything out of the restaurant, so everything you get has to be consumed in the building. The storefront was super cute and inviting, we loved the window murals. We ordered two scoops, a strawberry and a banana pudding, both excellent! Tons of flavor! Only complaint: two employees were sitting at BOTH tables inside eating their Chinese food lunches, so there was nowhere to sit and eat our ice cream. We ended up having to eat it outside, but it was 96 degrees, so we ultimately had to go eat in the car due to the heat. Would've been nice to sit inside and enjoy it so we could just continue shopping when we left.
