The AC had condensation leaking from some of the registers, mold was growing around these leaking registers too. Exterior siding had been replaced but not painted. The AC in the master bedroom didnt cool properly making a good nights rest difficult. When we arrived the kitchen sink faucet was so loose it was falling over. Had to wait two days to get a plumber to repair. There were other maintenance issues that if they had been disclosed we would not have rented the home. When we brought this to their attention they refused to provide a refund. They also would not allow us to provide a review of the property on their website. Lesson learned.

iTrip is a terrible property management company. I've never been treated with more disrespect by a…read moreservice provider in my life. I stayed in one of their Isle of Palms units last week, and the internet did not work. The condo did not receive cell service, and because there was no internet, I could not use my baby monitor, work from home, or watch TV because all of their TVs are streaming only. The reason the internet did not work was due to iTrip's negligence in maintaining the router - it was corroded and iTrip was unable to get a replacement during my stay. While iTrip did send someone out to look at the issue, that person was unable to respond. Communication with iTrip is horrendous. There is no proactive outreach providing solutions (they could have moved me to another unit, given me one of the other WiFi passwords for the unit, offered me something, etc.). They did respond to my communication attempts, but not with anything helpful, just that they would "pass the message along." When I finally was able to speak with a human (Tessa) she was so rude to me and kept telling me this wasn't her problem (even though these issues were due to poor maintenance). Then she left a nasty review about me on Air B&B. Save yourself the headache and book anywhere else. FOLLOW UP: I've been begging Steven at iTrip to call me for 10 days, and he hasn't made the effort to do that, but did respond to my review within minutes. Just look at how many one star reviews they've received....this company is not it.

We are now being charged a $500 move-out "restoration services" fee -- needless to say, we did not receive the office in a "restored" condition. We've asked since the day we moved in for peeling paint and window damage to be repaired, but Crystal at the front desk ignored all requests. We asked Denae to have the fee waived given the state of our office from move-in to present, but she declined. STAY AWAY.

I have never experienced anything so disgraceful. It took 3 months to get my office to the correct temperature. I had to leave in the afternoons as it was 87 degrees. But that is just the start. The building was without power on multiple occasions apparently because the electric bill was not paid (Managers words, not mine). I was told there were no 12 months leases... so I would start with a shorter term lease. At 3 months I was "jack hammered" into a new lease at huge bump through their "auto renewal policy". But it gets worse. Trying to leave is a trap. I was set up with a "Retention Specialist" who tried to get me into a different office and told me that they could not terminate my current lease and have access to current rates at the same time. NOT TRUE. My "Retention Rep" walked me through the termination policy and guess what? I am told Regus did not get it so I was again forced into another lease for 12 months at a 100% increase. There solution? No problem we will take it out of the security deposit. Anyone have the same experience and interested in joining the fight please let me know. My room was spotless, and one of my favorite things about the hotel was all of the artwork. There are unique pieces displayed throughout the property, and I thought it was really cool that you can actually purchase them if something catches your eye. My room happened to be French Bulldog themed, which I loved because it immediately reminded me of my best friend, who's obsessed with French Bulldogs. Another thoughtful touch was that every morning they left a small bag of pastries and fruit outside my door. It was such a nice surprise to wake up to each day. I'm also someone who always keeps the "Do Not Disturb" sign on because I usually don't want housekeeping coming into my room. Instead of assuming, they texted me each day to confirm that I didn't need anything or want my room serviced. I really appreciated that they checked in without being intrusive. The location is excellent, the rates were very reasonable for what you get, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. I have never had a worse realtor than Duvet in Charleston, SC. I sign a year lease on one of their properties and the day the lease started they told me I couldn't have access to the apartment before 4pm, like a hotel check-in. I pointed out that my lease started that day and I needed access that morning so I could finish moving in that day. They replied the apartment was being cleaned. I said that should have been done prior to the first day of my lease. They didn't care. Then it got worse. The first day I moved in and was sitting on the furnished apartment''s couch. Suddenly, I was covered in flea bites. I contacted Duvet and the next day they sent an exterminator. Duvet then tried to charge ME for the extermination fees! Unbelievable. When I moved out they claimed I broke the coffee table and were deducting $500 from my deposit. I knew that I had not broken anything, I was an excellent tenant and I demanded pictures of what they claimed I broke. They ignored me and took my deposit money. This was consistent with their style of management, tenant comes last, their priorities come first. Nickle and dime the tenant for everything. Avoid Duvet at all costs! Speaking of costs, the properties are all overpriced as well. Terrible experience from start to finish. Never again. Worst realtor ever.
